I had my windshield replaced on July 1 on my driveway. First, the technician informed me that the windshield he has is also cracked and for me to pick which cracker windshields would i like to have him put back on until they can another windshield. They did the same day, after installing the replacement, he had me looked at the windshield, it looked fine i was satisfied. I didn t know that under the hood, my rivets were missing and broken, the whole molding assembly is loose, windshield washer is not working,. The technician never once mentioned anything about broken or missing rivets! I m tired of people not even taking the time to take pride in their work. Now, i have to take time out again off work, to have them fix it.

The guy working the front desk saturday is super rude and unprofessional. Kinda crazy that I paid $400 to get a new windshield, waited 3 hours in the lobby for it to be replaced, for this guy to make fun of a conversation I had with my partner to his coworker 10 feet away from us. Micheal who replaced my windshield did a 10/10 great job tho. Thanks Micheal

The customer service was incredible. It was almost like all of the staff went through the same training that chik-fil-a staff go through. Everybody seemed happy and smiling. It really was just like the tv commercials. The tech that did my window(I believe his name was deandre) was awesome. He assured me he would do a great job and he absolutely did. He told me I could watch him install it to reassure me that the windshield would be taken care of. This is the second time I have had to replace the windshield(all of the construction on I80 and 50 is ridiculous with rocks and debris). The 1st time it was replaced by the safelite in fairfield CA and appantly it wasn't done correctly. I had no clue. Deandre showed me a spot on the bottom of the windshield that was popped out/missing a seal. He fixed it! It was an awesome experience. Place is extremely clean inside and out and has free wifi while you wait. It was estimated to take 3 to 3.5 hours to complete..but it was done and I was on the road in 2 hours!

My claim was denied by my insurance (brand new car and on the insurance less than 24 hours), so I called Safelite to ask about out-of-pocket options and verify they could even get the glass in stock since I was advised previously it was on back-order. When I tried to explain this issue to the woman answering the phones, she huffed and hung up on me.

I had an aweful experience with Safelite. First they came to repair a very small damage. They created a much larger damage in the process and told me that I now had to change my entire windshield. Once I go to theor office on the day of my appointment, they take my car, tell me to go home. An hour later they car me back saying that they don t have my replacement windshield in stock!!! I m going somewhere else and will never use them again

Website provides price if insurance not paying and then allows you to select insurance to have them verify amount covered. No contact or price was provided until technician arrived. When they arrived price was provided by link in a text and set as deductible, which was much higher than original non insurance price.

From the customer service attendant, Caralee in Phoenix, to the site members at the office on Ramco Street in Sacramento, it was top notch service from beginning to end. Because I had my 3 year old grandson with me, Caralee was able to rearrange my all day fit in at the last minute appointment into an expedited 1 hour appointment. Then, while waiting for my daughter in law s vehicle to be fixed, the staff was very kind and very tolerant of an active little boy. Also, the waiting room was very clean, spacious and provided TV and snacks. Thank you for making a potentially stressful situation very tolerable.

Simply the fastest, best quality chip repair on the market. One call, set an appointment, one hour..... Job done! Remember, they have moved to Ramco Street in West Sac but Google hasn't updated their address yet.

Vincent from Safelite, Sacramento is an amazing glass tech. Friendly, professional, and very good at what he does. Thank you. The back window of my Tacoma unexplainably spontaneously shattered. Of course it happens 7hrs from home, and during inclement torrential weather. Safelite, and glass tech Vincent went above and beyond to accommodate the obvious need and urgency of the situation. They were real pros, and I highly recommend them. They were A+++. Thank you!

Not a very good experience at all. Took almost 4hrs to get my windshield replaced but they couldn't calibrate it properly because of some engine valve so they told me to go to a Subaru dealership. I was then charged $390 for the calibration and the warranty I have would not cover it because Safelite wouldn't take ownership of the issue. Very frustrating.

Too busy & near double the $$$ of local business. Both required special equip to calibrate lane departure & radar built into the rearview mirror. So why does Safelite charge $,$$$.00

We took our vehicle to Safelite for the first time and after waiting 4 hours we were informed that the glass they installed was defective and our safety system could not be recalibrated. They also scratched the paint above the window and window seal looks warped and was poorly installed. They told us to drive the car for a week or longer and they would have to replace glass. The manager Rickey Jones was very rude and aggressive and when I told him the car was unsafe to drive with defective windshield and no safety system he laughed. He told me it was safe to drive and I asked him if Safelite could be liable if I get into an accident and he said he didn t care Very unprofessional and very unsafe company

Scheduling an inhome windshield replacement service was a breeze. I was informed at every step in the process. The technician, Terry, was professional, knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. Highly recommended but I hope I won't need to call them in the future :)

My experience getting my windshield replaced was sub-par. The service took 2.5 hours. After returning home and removing the tape later in the day, I noticed that the black trim was very crooked. Also, the technician did not replace my wiper caps so now the bolt is exposed. This issues make me question the overall craftsmanship, but only time will tell. I filled out Safelite's survey indicating these issues and never heard from them.Service: Auto windshield replacement

Safelite handled the two chips in my windshield very quickly and efficiently. It is not too far out of downtown/midtown. Staff was helpful and friendly and my insurance covered the whole activity. My work was finished faster than I expected too. As normal during covid masks required in the office/waiting area but you can still sit and wait in their chairs.

Johnathan put my OEM windshield is so offset nothing lines up. Supervisor admitted the mistake and said we need to start a warranty replacement. They cancel my appointment, and now they don't even return my phone calls. They sent me an email to PLEASE take the time and take out survey. So I did. Boy, in less than 10 minutes the called to try and rectify the bad review. They are more concerned fixing and my review, than the issue itself. Never again will I use this place. Pathetic customer service, and lack of professionalism. Issuse still has not been fixed. I call every day. I'm told I will find out what's going on, and I will call you back. No on has called me back. This happens every day, with same results.

I had made an appointment to get my windshield replaced and the wrong one was ordered. I asked how long it would take for a new one to be available and I was told it was backordered. The person I spoke with said they weren't sure and offered to call me when one became available. This was May of 2023, it is now the end of July and still no callback. I called a local shop, and was able to get a new windshield the same week, two days after my visit here. I do not recommend this shop.

Please do yourself a favor and go to any other location. My window was broken by law enforcement because I was having a seizure and a new window was put in but the tech said that something was bent and that they needed to order a special part. They did not tell me this prior to doing it though, so I have no choice but to continue to go through them for the warranty so that I don t have to pay full price again. Super sketchy. Mind you, it is a Honda Civic. Very common car with common parts and thats the reason that I bought it. It has now been over 2 months and they swore that someone would call whenever the part they ordered was ready. I called every week for two months and finally was told that it was ready. Didn t call to let me know, but oh well. FINALLY got an appointment to put said part in yesterday and the tech tells me that nothing is wrong with it and that whoever we talked to was an idiot. Cool. Whatever. Now it s today and the window is making loud awful clicking sounds. I can t tell if its the window breaking inside or if it s something else. I just want my drivers side window to work. I have called and used their live chat feature so many times and no one can ever tell me anything or help me. Now when I call, ill be on hold for 10+ minutes and no one ever answers or talks to me again. I chose Safelite due to their customer service and convenience but it has been such a nightmare.

Never have I encountered such bumbling mishandling of a service. I have been months and had 3 physical appointments produce no results. Safelite broke my spoiler, it flew off on the freeway. I ve been MONTHS waiting for them to get the part in successfully to replace it. Zero communication unless I book an appointment. Another failure today.

Awful workmanship. We had a broken side power window replaced. The technician left glass all over the truck's floor, there is a ton of glass still inside the door, and they failed to reinstall the door's interior plastic panel properly. When I tried to contact them about this, things just got worse... Their customer service is awful, too. None of their customer service phone numbers work (their automated system drops the call). Their online chat system is the pits too. I waited over an hour to chat with an online agent. When I finally connected, the online chat agent told me to call customer service (giving me the exact same number I had already tried to call 3+ times earlier in the day), and then disconnected my chat. 100% do not recommend. Safelite's phone tree is designed to not help you. They definitely will screw up you appointment, and when you finally get served, something will be messed up with your service (e.g. your windshield washers won't work). After this you will be sent through a labyrinth of calls to try and schedule a simple fix. So difficult.

We're 40mi away so we were disappointed that unlike the commercials they don't have mobile techs schedule appts out our way. Other than that, once we located their business in W. Sac they were on time, very professional, explained everything in detail and completed repairing the cracks in the windshield in 45mins. Highly recommend.
