I needed a smog on a Saturday aka today. This nice gentleman was open at 930am and it was $50 out the door. 3% surcharge if you're using a credit card. It's a small operation (1 guy working at the time, 1 car bay) so there may be a lil' bit of a wait. I was seen almost immediately and done in less than 10 minutes. He's over on Duluth by Glass West. Another place open today charges $75 for a smog! My goodness. Okay byeeeee

I have been here multiple times for my car s oil changes. Quoc is very friendly and professional, and quick with service, as well. The place is also well maintained and very clean. I highly recommend and glad to have Grease Guys in West Sacramento.

I just got my car smogged today at Grease Guys Auto Service over off of Harbor North. It was really quick, cost $50 (half as much as the first place I stopped at), the people were super nice and it took like 15 minutes.

I had to get my 2017 Chevy towed to the Grease Guys for a diagnostic check of the engine, so thankful I chose this business! They were able to get my car in right away, replaced my actuators, did an oil change, and had my car back to me within 24 hours. I can not recommend this business enough! High quality work while being very quick and communicative.

Brought my vehicle in for a headlight and brake inspection, the service was quick and friendly. Two of my bulbs were burnt out but luckily the gentleman doing the inspection provided me with replacements.Great customer service!

This place is fantastic! Very quick and effective. No BS. It's located in a warehouse complex but easy to find. The first smog place located in Davis was double the price and required us to leave the vehicle and return in 3-5 hours. This guy got the job done in 10 minutes. A++++

Needed a water pump replaced on my 23 year old Dodge Ram van. Q got me in immediately. He replaced the pump, thermostat, and hoses in a day. Highly recommend.

I got a Groupon to visit here for smog certification for renewal. The owner is friendly and very knowledgeable. Excellent service and it was quick especially since I did not book an appointment in advance. You should definitely check this place out and go here for services. Cheap smog was out of there in 15 minutes... came back shortly after to recharge my ac ...I feel like this guy is honest and I would definitely recommend him over other corp. Mechanic places. The best deal and quickest smog service I ve gotten in California over the past 15+ years. Q fixes cars too. He s a good teacher if you care to learn anything from this honest guy who saved me $500 from installing an A/C Blower motor behind the dash board at the dealer.

Got a smog test done here a couple months ago. Fast and friendly service. Reasonable pricing. Wish I had brought my car here for maintenance instead of going to the dealership and paying a lot more than this place would ve charged. They re now on my list for auto service and to recommend to others.

Location of the shop is great, the owner Quoc is nice and knowledgable about cars. He did my smog check quickly and professionally, also he answered some of my questions about my car patiently. This place is great! It's tucked in a warehouse complex, but get back there and experience the good customer service, great price, and quick service I did! You'll be glad you did. He lifted my car up and showed me some things during my smog check just for my peace of mind, gave me advice and still had me out fast.

I was driving on I-80 and heard my front wheel rotor grinding. This was something I should have fixed when my car began squeaking weeks ago. An internet search led me quickly to THE GREASE GUYS.Quoc, the owner told me that the rotor was shot and that he had to hire someone to cut the part as it had "fused" together. Otherwise, it would have been necessary and expensive to replace the ENTIRE thing.Even though he was very busy with other customers, he replaced the rotors on both sides quickly and much cheaper than I thought it should have cost.Thank you, Quoc, you're an excellent and very fair priced mechanic.Adam

I first showed him the $25 coupon.It s a 2004 Toyota Tacoma truck.Truck and R. V. are more higher in the smog category.He said, I ll give you $52 out the door, including coupon.I said, okey. Then he started checking and doing smog on my truck.I converse with him during the smog process.Just be direct and show him the $25 coupon as advertised. He will tell you how much out the door including the smog check certificate $8.25.So easy and simple to get your smog check.I ll come back to smog check all of my 3 cars from this place.Service: Smog certification

Went here for a smog check initially and ended up also fixing my AC in my car, he was super quick helpful and not super expensive at all. Amazing amazing service. Came here to check on my leaking brakes, which another mechanic quoted me $590 for. Q identified the issue which super simple and fixed it free of charge. Then swapped my suspension for a fraction of what other mechanics have quoted me.
