Fast and excellent work. Took my 2016 Hyundai Sonata in and provided them the transmission and they took care of it as promised. You will not find a better transmission place that can beat their work and the price. Phenomenal job.

Looking to fix your transmission!. It s a big price tag.Like myself you are looking for a shop that will do a good job for a fair price.I was worried about Go Transmission when I read some of the negative reviews. So I went to visit the shop and talked to the people. I found that they are professionals that know their stuff.They rebuilt and replaced the transmission and also they found out that the engine mounts need to be replaced, they have done a great job for a fair price, the car is running great.Oleg is an honest and fair guy and knows his job. You are in good handsDon t worry if it takes a few extra days, what you care about is that your car is fixed and running well.I have not been asked to write or paid to do the review, I just want to share my experience with you and a way to thank Go Transmission for their great job.Eli

8/26/2023I have a small shop, also here in West Sacramento.Two young people asked if I could help with their transmission issue. They came from Santa Cruz going to the Burning Man festival.Found that their transmission was very low of fluid. Luckily I had the Honda transmission fluid specifically for their vehicle. Noticed signs of leaks that looked like it was coming from the cooler lines, but was all over so hard to tell.Comped 3 quarts of fluid, put it in in and got it up to the proper level. Told the young man to go the the local self serve car wash place in town and clean the residual in hope of seeing where the fluid came from, then drive it on the freeway and come back so I can take a look at it. Eventually he did come back, but told me he didn't even make it to the freeway as he lost forward movement.I knew he needed a transmission, but I am not set up to do this especially in a timely manner. The young man called a few places, even drove to one, but was told that they were booked 2 weeks out, or they couldn't help them.He called Go Transmissions. Not only did they give him a sreaming deal of a quote, but they said they can start on it right away and should have it done by saturday (mind you, this was Friday).He text me sometime later that Go Transmissions worked on this till midnight and got them on the road.I have never used this company, and really do not know the quality of their repairs, but customer service like this is unheard of. They went far above and beyond the norm. They knew these young people were in a tight spot and got them on the road quickly. I will never forget this.JimEve's Automotive

I have no words. I will be forever grateful to Oleg and Andrew for the work that they did to get me back on the road when I was in a serious bind. Not only did Oleg offer me an amazing deal to replace my transmission and with a ridiculously fast turnaround, he took care of me in so many other ways where I needed it and showed a lot of kindness. The whole experience that I had I will never ever forget. My heart is touched by the amount that Oleg decided to do for me that he really didn't have to; I am often brought to tears when I think about it. Thank you so much Oleg. I was down and out trying to find someone to fix my car. I received some ridiculous pricing and some runarounds but when I contacted Go Transmissions, Oleg took care of me right away! Within two weeks my car was running like new. I m forever grateful to Oleg! He does great work. And the price was great! Thank you Oleg for getting me back on the road!

Terrible company the owner was very rude and my car has been sitting in the shop for days before they started to work on it and when I asked for an estimate time for my car to get done, he got made and told me to come pick it up. I Do NOT Recommend!!!!

Alec is a crook. I asked him to install a clutch in my transmission and then my input shaft was broken and my transmission was leaking fluid and when he said he would replace the transmission we had a big argument and my on my transmission is slipping so if he fix the problem, why my car still slipping problem not fix bad transmission shop I don t recommend any want to ever use Go Transmissions in West Sacramento California.Service: Transmission

Brought my car in, a jetta. I had multiple other shops and dealers quote me $300-$500 for a transmission fluid change, and appointments were available 2 weeks out (apparently German cars are hard to work on). I brought my car in here, the day after I called. They took good care of it, and changed the fluid. On top of that, it was only $120. It's been about 3 months now, and the car runs perfectly. Highly recommend!

Hi this guy is unprofessional. I was give him rebuild my 2015 Cadillic Escalade transmission. When I was go to give him my Escalade that time he say I pay him between $2000 to$2500 and fix it 6 day but he is not fixed my Escalade 28 days and charge me $3500 and after his rebuild transmission I face same or more problems in transmission or I go to dealers two time to check the transmission problem dealership say transmission is not working properly but this say go to reprogram after that he used cheep language or not pick then I put brand new transmission includes labor $4600 new transmission working perfectly. I advise please don t go like this kind unprofessional person. I never go to again and I lose $3500 and 28 day . Be careful

I want to share with all of you. That if you need your transmission done go to Go Transmission is the best place to have it done . Mr. Oleg is very honest person , his work is perfect n prices are the best. He is here for hard working people. I love the work he did my Nissan Pathfinder. She runs like a brand new car. I was able to afford it cause Mr. Oleg made it possible with his price. Thank you so much

Pro:- competitive/ affordable labors- honest/detailed- quality worksmanship- friendly and have fantastic customer serviceCon:- estimate time of labor was a little off( not too much of a con for me because...read more details below)- the location of the business was kind of hiddenMy experience at Go Transmission around November 2018 was really pleasant and I am satisfied with the work performed on my car. My Subaru 2000 started having serious transmission problems (transmission slippage and I would get stuck in the middle of road sometimes when I brake too hard) and I was really struggling to find a a local transmission specialist that will do the work for an affordable price. I called several mechanics around the West Sacramento area and Oleg was the only one that gave me the lowest quote. At first, I was worried that his low quote may be due to the lack of skills on his part. I did some research and found out that the place was opened 10 years ago so he must have a decent amount of experience. I brought my car in and talked to him. We confirmed that my car indeed has transmission problem because the signs were obvious. I also have brought my car to other competitors around the area for a better diagnosis of the problems. Within a few days, he took the transmission out and worked on it. He explained the main problems to me and found some other non-transmission related problems that I wasn t aware of. He fixed the non-transmission related problems for me at no labor charge at all!!! Currently, my car is running more powerful than before. I trust his workmanship and he gave me a year warranty on it. If there are any problems, I will update my review but for now it is pretty great.The cons that I had were really minor and demonstrated his ethic as a business owner. Like some of the other reviewers here mentioned, he was a little off when it comes to estimating a deadline. I had him rebuilt my transmission and it took 8-9 days to finish. Usually the labor takes about a week. But the reason to his delay is due to his attention to details. He told me he had to test it by driving the car around and on high ways (I know its true because half of my tanks is gone when I came in with a full tank so he definetly has drove around). I appreciate his concern for putting the customer s safety instead of rushing the job. The other con about his location being hidden wasn t a big deal for me either because I understand how hard it is for businesses to operate on properties around here. He did his best.My final word to Oleg is that I appreciate your honest and hard work. I would recommend anyone that is in a similar situation as mine to try Go Transmission. I would for sure come back again to support this business if I have to (transmission fluid flushing and etc.) but it may be in a while.

This shop has no idea what they are doing. I had to get the vehicle serviced with them two times and each time the vehicle transmission failed. Brand new parts OEM yet somehow they are able to ruin my vehicle. Thanks guys doing a great job over there.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

This guy's here know what they are doing. Rebuilt the transmission in my civic as if brand new. 12 month warranty. Down 1 star for not giving accurate turnaround time. Took them longer then they said it would
