They are open early. At 9am. I went in and got a complete sound system for a great price. Jason was very helpful.

Went in Saturday morning cause my stereo was shorting out, so I went in at 9 am. They were so helpful and checked my stereo. They connected and fixed the problem. If you need any audio purchases, go see these guys. They are extremely awesome.

This review is for the installation of a dashcam I had purchased separately, myself.I had a dashcam installed by the guys there about a week ago on a powered retractable hardtop convertible. The cam included a rear facing camera. As far as I can tell, the installation has not caused any problems to the car and it was extremely clean, despite the extra difficulty from having to deal with the powered roof. The roof still operates flawlessly and so do the cameras.You may want to call ahead to figure out their availability or arrange for someone to pick you up. These guys take their time but that's because they want to ensure the job is CLEAN, not a wire in sight, and connected to the car's battery. I dont see why this place has so many bad ratings. It was a 1 stop shop for me. I came in already having the alarm and blade for it that i needed to get installed. Dude behind the counter said it would take about 4 hours, but called me with it ready in 3.5h. We tested it, everything worked fine. Alarm, remote start, open, lock, trunk, everything. 5 stars from me.

Purchased the DDX9906XR. Product gets a 5/5 all day but the installation was very sloppy and dirty.1.) Cable exposed on the dash.2.) Old cable trash left on my car seat.3.) Steering volume controls are defective.4.) Car trim piece wasn t put back, found it hidden.5.) Lastly, my grandma past away this past August and I found it disrespectful that my funeral prayer card was left along with the trash of cables.I went back to address these issues and the guy told me to come back another day.I m a supporter of local businesses and I thought I would give them a try but honestly take your $ elsewhere unless you re trying to come back multiple times and be unsatisfied.

I took my new suv over to some stereo shop in riverside where I lived to get a system installed in my traverse. After I left that place I notice a interference sound coming out the speakers. I took it back and they said it wasn't their problem. I was in west covina and took my suv over to covina sound, where I used to go for other installs, after talking with them they told me exactly was was wrong. I was able to upgrade my kicker system to a Fosgate system for the same price. They installed the upgrade and cleared the interference. The sound was so noticeable. I will not go anywhere else. Covina sound has always been the best place for installs.

This place is awesome! David and Luis were very friendly and made me want to give them my money for how amazing they treated me. I got my mother an early Mother s Day gift by buying her a new head unit, speakers, and back up camera. Angel (the tech) let me watch him just in case if I ever needed to fix something on my own. David also told me about the warranty and helped me get the best product for my mama. Much appreciated and I would definitely be coming back and recommend all my friends and family to this place.

They helped me as soon as possible with my system. Not sure what was wrong with it but Anthony figured it out right away and got it fixed with minutes. Will definitely come back. Got my system installed here 5 years ago and still works proper. The system just needed to be tweaked or something and Anthony was able to do the system repair for my for free. Thankful for our local sound guys ! The price is super fair here from my memory all things considered.

Great selection of the higher end brands. Prices are on part with other competitors, would like to have seen the prices a little lower but I totally understand theres not much wiggle room for the high end brands. But you pay for what you get. And if you want high end quality, then your gonna pay for it. I have no problem paying the prices because I know I'm gonna get clear quality equipment that is warrantied. And they are authorized dealer for the brands they sell. That's a must if you buy for example focal and something breaks that's covered under manufacturers warranty, you can send it to the company and if it's legit they will fix or replace it. Now let's say you buy focal.from some.aidio shop that sells it and they are not authorized dealers then focal won't honor the warranty claim Because that shop is not an authorized dealer and might even be a fake oh yes there are fakes of the beloved stereo equipment we love. So make sure you shop at a shop lome.covina sound they are legit authorized dealers for Focal, Alpine, JL Audio, Memphis, and many other brands awesome store thanks covina sound will have my business for many years to come.

I give this audio Shop a 0, 1 Star . Because before I gave them money down for the part/adaptor they had to supposedly order. They were really nice and seem fair. But! After they had $240 deposit half of what they going charge me for a Bluetooth devices which is only like a $30 Component online . They became really Distant and made me feel like they barely had time for me. So after having to come back for the 3rd time they finally installed it. And scratched my leather interior . $440 later the Bluetooth device only worked for a month. I come back to let them know it no longer works he tells me these cars don t do well with Bluetooth devices which I felt should have of been addressed before hand. And offers to take it back with a refund of just $200 . Such an inconvenience non professional environment and no good product and service . I recommend no one to this place. Beware . Avoid Business at Covina Sound.

I called several audio shops for a quote in amp installation and this one had the best price. $70 to install a sub and amp on my 2013 honda accord. Edgar help me through out this experience, and he had great customer service. I definitely would recommend them.

The customer does NOT COME FIRST at Covina Sound, JUST A HEADS UP to fellow consumers. The OWNER INSULTED ME today on the way out.He told me (the customer), I'm cheap. After I asked for a simple refund, for LED headlights that dont stay on. No refunds whatsoever. I'm stuck with $60 LED headlights that do not work for my car.Instead of the owner offering a valid solution, he offers me store credit, valid for 2 months. I told him, "but all I want is FUNCTIONAL headlights", and he still refused to help me out with my frustrating problem, telling me "store credit only", very unreasonable individual no doubt about that.I came exclusively for functional LED Headlights, the owner didn't care. He was happy he made easy money off me, he should be happy, about making the customer happy. Customer service is non-existent here. If you purchase something, dont expect to be able to return, or exchange the item, you only GET ONE SHOT, after that your screwed.In addition, I told Luis the "worker with no authority as he made it apparent as he kept telling me it's up to the owner", that the lights do not work, and he said, "yeah they do", I told him "no they dont". When I showed up earlier he was to busy he said. So he said "show up at 5pm" which I did. Only to be treated like trash after showing him the lights were not safe and functional.The owner chose to be "cheap" by holding out on my $60, which in turn he would rather be charged $60 for a bad review, by not putting THE CUSTOMER FIRST and not remembering that THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. He thinks he's doing business in a 3rd world country It appears.

Got car alarm for my Honda Pilot. It was a good deal. Matched competitor's price! I had issues with the car alarm and they replaced it. Good customer service. Look for Luis/Shaun/Jason to get best deals! Thanks to technicians Jose and Leo. Keep up the good work!!!!

Horrible products & even worse installation. Customer service doesn't mean anything there. Do not waste your time & money there. I bought an amp & sub there 5 mths ago, they've replaced amp once & speakers keep turning off. I've tooken car back to get serviced at lease 10 time & the speakers are still turning off. Can't understand how their still in business smh

Took them over 3 hours to install a radio with 4 speakers. Price was ok, same price as going to a big retail store like best buy. If it's your first time buying a stereo or audio for your car I don't recommend you going here. They will try to sell you anything even if it doesn't even sound good. Installation was ok, they did lose one of my lock caps.

Love how Anthony banderas. Just asked what u need girl. I said me and my man fight about the music playing so input just worn out. This place is the spot to but what u need or get it. Best place that I come and get my stereo needs. Come here its fast and great prices. .

This place ripped me off and won't try to fix the problem. Anthony was very rude to me when I called to try and fix the problem. They sold me $500 worth of equipment and charged me $1,500. My system stopped working day 2. I took my car back and the fixed it but now my base sounds horrible. I financed the deal so they said I'm stuck. Rick was the man who sold me the stereo equipment. Be ware of these guys. They are dishonest and don't care. I regret coming here. I gave them a chance to be fair. I understand businesses need to make a profit but the least they could have do was sell me equipment they are proud of. Rick asked me to trust him when I initially took my car to him... so sad. Thankfully I work in finance and know how to get this matter resolved legally. I gave them a chance to work with me but they refused to do the right thing.

the service was good at first but when I came back to get a refund for equipment they did not install they wanted to give me store credit. I told them they never installed what they promised to install and was not wanting to give me the money back. so I can't see my self come back here unless management changed.

Wish I could leave ZERO stars sold my disabled brother $100 worth of low quality gear for $360. Great job guys. I know he was an easy target but wow, mom went to ask why they had done such a thing and was told all sales are final.

Covina Sounds is a great place to buy custom wheels & audio that made me feel comfortable as a customer and they have really good prices I recommend someone coming to give Covina Sound's a shot I'm sure you will leave happy and Satisfied.
