We were just coming up on Yreka CA, when the battery light came, stop and check the connections as we had been backed into the previous morning by a Portland driver with a questionable level of sobriety. But is minor, just a tiny dent, drove fine otherwise. But the connections where fine.Tried to find the nearest shop that was open to perform a quick diagnostic, and affect any need repairs. JB Automotive was one of the first to come up that had decent reviews.They treated us honestly, and fairly, and even came in on their day off to get us back on the road.We are very thankful for their help, and I would recommend them to anyone in the area.

Helped me get on the road and gave excellent service, on top of peace of mind. If we didn't have reservations I would've definitely ask them to fix the car! Excellent shop with top tier customer service

Wow. Our 1987 Vanagon broke down 20 miles outside of Weed on a Saturday afternoon. We limped into town, and Gia, Ed, and Isaac took it on right away. They didn t fix everything that afternoon, but gave us a good sense of next steps, helped us find a place to stay, and even invited us bowling!Over the next week, they continued to diagnose what was wrong, source parts, and get her back on the road. They didn t fix everything, but did more than enough to get her running right. I wish we lived closer, just so we could keep going back.

My oil change lasted less than 6 months. They also charged me a shop fee..and.. $129.00 for an oil change.....live and learn!!! Also, they tried to sell me a repair that was not necessary for $700. Be careful with these folks...and beware

Wanted my van to be looked at but they guy wouldn't do it unless I gave him $60 to look at it so I took it somewhere that gave a free estimate. Times are hard right now and I can't pay for someone $60 just to see where a leak is coming from but the lady that answered the phone was very friendly and helpful. Good thing I didn't have him look cause it was just water leaking from the air conditioner.

Willie and Dennis took wonderful care of us and the car. Dropped it off first thing in the morning and they were able to quickly diagnose the problem (radiator) and give us a very fair estimate. They called around for us and found the part we needed and reviewed and installed everything, even topping off our coolant and doing an overall engine check. Super thankful that these honest, hardworking gentlemen came to save the day for these out of towners. Thank you so much!

Boy oh boy did I do a good by picking J&B Automotive repair, my car was dead for 2 months then I had it towed to J&B, it needed a new starter system and Willy replaced and fixed it in one day. He also gave me a lifetime warranty for his work. I was pleased at the fair price and couldn't be any more so. It's not easy finding a fair and square mechanic but I did. Thanks J&B. Tammy Ross

On a family trip and the brakes on our truck went out. Willie & Dennis quickly diagnosed the issue (We had thought it was the master cylinder but exhaust burnt thru back brake lines). They were extremely knowledgable, helpful and understanding! They had to order a part, it was delivered the next morning and repair was complete by 11 am. We are grateful for their prompt service and reasonable prices!

On the second day of our family vacation our family SUV broke down. We were able to get to JB Automotive and they took us in right away and diagnosed the problem very quick AND without charging a diagnostic fee. Long story short without boring you with the details, GO HERE if you're in the area. Willie and staff will take care of you and treat you like family.

THESE GUYS SAVED MY THANKSGIVING. I was in a car accident with my husband a week and a half ago, and he's still in the hospital. i wanted to be with him for Thanksgiving. my other vehicle (the one that WASN'T totaled) had an alternator problem. Other shops were quoting me 2-3 weeks wait time to get the work done. This shop told me at 2pm the day before Thanksgiving that if i could be there in 20 minutes or less they could get it done that day. They charged me a reasonable rate, and they were honest with me about the alternator's condition (it had been acting up and needed replacing... but it seemed to work almost well enough when i arrived at the shop. they informed me before they just went and replaced a part... in case i didn't actually need it)i can't thank them enough!!!

Damsel in distress with a check engine light on. Traveling to Salem... and Willie got right to diagnosing the issue. It s being worked on now... so far so good! If you get in a pinch.. this is an honest place to get stuck. Hope I m on the road soon and make it home safe and sound.Brenda

My stupid friend Gabe dropped his oil cap in his engine. A kind hero mechanic fished it out free of charge in a matter of minutes and we were well on our way to the olive capitol of the world. Miraculous.

Me and my uncle broke down on the way to Oregon and just happened to come across the shop . Eddie was the mechanic that helped us got us in fast did great work and was very helpful ..

My check engine light came on while I was far from home. Willie looked at it right away and took care of the problem. It was a great experience. Highly recommended!

We were traveling to Washington for a family emergency. Had trouble with the wipers. They took care of us out of line and had us on the road in thirty minutes.Very reasonable price, great service

Mike if a joke of a mechanic don t take you car here for any reason. It took him over 30 days to replace a clutch. This should only take a few hours. We were from out of town and this guy too major advantage of the situation. He is trash. Don t take your car here it will be worth your time and money to have it taken somewhere else. I repeat don t take your car here. He doesn t care about you or your time.

Quality work but a little pricey (plus i don't think there car knowledge is up to date)
