Had to give JP a call a couple weeks back after skinner couldn t take care of me (glad they weren t able to or I wouldn t have met this great father son duo) JP was super straightforward with me and told me he was a bit busy and could take care of my issues being stuck at the Dunsmuir scales just to give him about an hour in to which he came had all the necessary tools and product to fix my loose drive shaft within no time he repaired the issue and got me back on the road all for a reasonable price. Overall had an amazing experience with them and was glad I could save their number in my phone for any future repairs in the area

Wed, Aug 30, 2023 discovered a leaking brake chamber that required immediate replacement. J.P. Truck Repair was nearby and they quickly and professionally installed a new brake chamber and had me on my way. Very reasonably priced, also. (They request customers drop trailers across the street before pulling semi onto their lot)

Cruising South bound on I-5 and a warning light came on in my RV. I called JP's shop, and he told me to stop by. We parked out front and he walked up with a diagnostic computer. After 10 minutes of BSing he got to work. He quickly found out that it was an exhaust issue, and he didn't have the parts to fix it. He knew that I could make it to Redding, CA and recommended Freightliner NW to do the repair and then gave me the name of the service manager there. He didn't charge us a dime for his time, was very friendly and quit knowledgeable.

They took my call and dispatched another company nothing accomplished, said they couldn t find hinges for my refer trailer door and I had to pay for the 5 hours they spent DRIVING around Turlock, CA.

I can t say enough good about this company. I had brake issues on my Motorhome coming down the mountain from Lake Tahoe and stopped at the campground in Weed California. I called JP at 7am on Monday morning and explained my situation and asked if I could stop by so he could look at the brake and let me know if he could fix it or let me know who could. He told me that he would come to me as soon as he cleared some things up. At 8am he messaged me and said he was on the way. He arrived and got to work. Luckily it was a problem with the pads on one side and the rotor looked good. He went and got the parts, returned, and put everything back together. By 10am the job was finished and I was road worthy again. JP and his son were hard working, competent, and very friendly. If you are in the area and need truck work done, give JP a call and explain what s going on and he may be able to help you out. I wish I could give more than 5 stars because his work ethic, competence, and promptness are something you don t see much of these days. Thank you JP for everything you did.

Divine appointment on Sat trailer plug was demolished BF looked up closest repair place and tractor supply popped up I DO NOT support what they support so we looked again JP was AMAZING and a spirit filled man of God he really blessed us and we prayed and thanked the Lord ALL GLORY GOES TO HIM Thank you JP and Family He is smiling upon y all

Worked diligently and professionally on the Saturday just before Easter with last minute notice, to help my daughter and son-in-law to get their truck and RV back on the road again in only a few hours. We are so very thankful for his willingness to and expertise!

I remember this guy saved me lots of time. Came within 20min after calling, I was at Dunsmuir scale house. Break adj. And one brake chamber repair. Very reasonable rates. I was so happy of his services, I give him little souvenir from India....Indian currency note. He said his daughter would love it. But overall his services were great..he made me felt like a family member not a number.... I have no words. Just great, 100 stars.

Even though he caters to the big rigs, JP was willing to help us out in a major pinch after we accidentally put gasoline in our diesel truck on a long road trip. On recommendation from a bartender at Mt. Shasta Brewing Co (thank you!), we called JP, and he told us what he could do to try and fix this mega mistake. We had the truck towed there the next morning, and JP was on it, communicating (and praying!) with us the whole time. He told us it may be ready around 2, and he called at 1:15 to deliver the great news that she was up and running again with no problems. We were so beside ourselves with joy, I nearly cried. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, JP. You were a pivotal point in making our family vacation a success!

We somehow lost our oil cap. My husband called JP and he recommended NAPA Auto parts ONLY because he said it would be cheaper. We got an after market cap, the right size, but it wasn't sealing. Went to JP, just down the road. He noticed the washer that helps to Contract the rubber seal was just a little too big to fit properly.He took the cap, ground down the washer and viola, it fits.No charge.Superb Customer Service with the 1st recommendation and even better with what he did.I Highly recommend this Family shop.

Stopped by and asked if I could get a tire repaired. Was told he was leaving in half an hour. Asked if I could just get some air. He told me the gas station up the road had a compressor. As I was on a flat tire he sent me away. Family is the name but not the feeling. I got my truck towed and it cost me 220 dollars because the gas station air was out of order and I had to leave my truck with a flat in the parking lot. Thanks for the help. All yhe tow company did after I paid 220 dollars to get my truck back, was get air from them. You guys are the worst repair shop ever. I hope people see your not about any family but the green backs. Thanks for the hospitality. One star because I have no way to give you zero.

You cannot find a more professional and honest mechanic than JP. I had a failed starter and got stuck at Pilot Truck Stop in Weed. CA.I was desperate to get my truck fixed. Call it divine intervention when I search for a mobile mechanic. JP promptly arrive after 1/2 hour after I called him. He even had a brand new starter in stock at his shop. Apparently he keeps stock of common parts in his shop because what's the point of coming without the required parts. I have no other words to describe the service but EXCELLENT. A big thank you to my guy JP. God bless you my brother. Oh did I mentioned that he even gave me a freshly baked fruit cake from his wife? Just an all around good guy!!!!

This guy is legit. Had my water pump go out at the Dunsmuir scales. He had me going the next day. Would have been the same afternoon if we could have got the parts sooner. I would recommend him to anyone needing diesel repair.

I blew a tire on my tanker called JP from weed rest area north. He was there in 15 mins. replaced outside tire on trailer and told me the new one next to it put on by petro was the wrong size. I headed to his shop to replace the inner and back on the road. He's a really nice family man honest and personable. His shop is right off I5 big flat level lot wide gate to get . I had a problem with my Dodge ram 3500 and when I pulled off the freeway to get fuel in Weed I noticed it was pouring oil out of the motor. These guys were incredible. It was almost 6 at night and they came out and checked it out and told me exactly what was wrong with it which was what I thought it was a rear main seal. They didn t even charge me. Very nice folks. Religious and honest . You don t find people like this in the world often

I want to thank JP for his assistance today. He saved my truck driver on the side of I-5. My driver was hauling Christmas trees and his rear tire blew out and took out our tail lights. JP was more then willing to go far and beyond to help us in our time of need. Les Schwabs turned us down, but had the helping hand of guiding us to JP & Family roadside truck repair. I can t thank JP enough for his attention and service to us. Great all around service. Les Schwabs is owed a thank you as well, for guiding me to JP s service. JP was super quick to answer all calls I made to him. I made lots of calls to him and he still answered every call and ended every conversation with Stay safe . It was a very stressful situation and those word Stay safe made it very comforting. Thank you JP & Family roadside truck repair, you helped get those trees rolling down the road, so now families can have smiles on their families faces too. JP has always treated me and my fleet well. He is honest about his schedule but always tries to work me in. He is trustworthy, dependable, and knowledgeable. If he can fix it, he will. If he can't, he will let you know. He is my go to for the area.

JP did a great job. We lost air pressure and were stranded. He noticed my exhaust tip had fallen off and was melting the air line from the tank to the governor. Got us, our 5 dogs and motor home down the road.

We Broke down on Highway 5 in our box truck due to air brakes failure. We called J.P. and he made it out to us with in half an hour and had us back on the Road with in the Hour. Very Happy with our whole experience very professional..thanks again J.P.

Had them come out to fix our backhoe. Service truck was filled with all the tools needed, in a short time the machine was back in operable condition. Would highly recommend.
