I recently had the pleasure of purchasing my Lexus NX200t from Chevrolet Watsonville, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked into the dealership, I was greeted with professionalism and warmth, a special shout out is in order for Maggie, whose assistance throughout the process was invaluable. Maggie was extremely patient and helpful in answering all my queries. What impressed me the most was Maggie's commitment to ensuring that I was fully satisfied and confident in my purchase decision. She went above and beyond to provide personalized service, making me feel valued and respected as a customer. It s rare to encounter such dedication and care in customer service today.I cannot recommend Chevrolet Watsonville and Maggie highly enough!

My Chevy Colorado broke down just a couple weeks before my move to North Carolina. I didn t have much for a credit score and thought I was out of luck. I had my truck towed to Chevy Watsonville in hopes the repair wouldn t be too much but it needed a whole new engine. Somehow they were able to offer me a sizeable down payment towards another vehicle, but I was certain I wouldn t be approved for a loan. My only requirement for the new vehicle was to have a tow package that could tow my trailer for the move. Not only did I get approved for the loan with terrible credit, but I also was able to have them install a complimentary tow package that they originally said the vehicle included (I realized it was missing the tow hitch as soon as I got home with my new vehicle). I m incredibly impressed with their customer service and all the help they gave to resolve my issues. I m back on track for my move to NC when I thought I d surely be stuck here for another 6 months having to save up for a new car. Huge thanks to Daniel and Ulises from the sales department, and the hard working associates in the service department to get my tow package installed in one day. Thanks a ton everyone, you made my stress disappear and I m looking forward to my move with my 2020 Chevy Traverse!

This dealership has always been awesome to deal with. I was contacted by them regarding two cars I was selling online in the last year. They contacted me and offered top dollar for both my used vehicles and were pleasant to work with. Mike Gabbani and Kevin Hernandez were honest, transparent and easy to work with. I will definitely be doing business with them in the future!

Regarding the local dealer, they did a major project replacing the high voltage battery in my 2020 Bolt EV and completed the work 7 days later as estimated. However I am not pleased with GM who made me wait three years to replace the battery while they continued to sell more cars with the same defect and force me (and many other owners) to jump through pointless procedures to "earn the right" to have the battery replaced. If GM had just quickly replaced the battery I would have been happy. I doubt that I will ever but another GM product.

I told them to get me off the list, they keep calling me to let me know my car is due for service I only took my car there one time because the driver side seat wasn t moving back. It would move forward, up, down, but I couldn t get the seat motor to move the seat back. I was charged 1000$ and it still glitches a lot . So not sure what service you all are telling me i am due for because i never get any services at a dealer unless i cant find a mechanic ect to do the work that i need done. It comes off like the company doesn t have enough customers.

It's been 16 years since I last bought a car, and I was dreading the high-pressure dealership sales experience. However, Samuel Cruz at Chevrolet of Watsonville was so helpful and knowledgable that I was able to make up my mind and buy a new Bolt and finish the paperwork in less than 2 hours! He was super patient in explaining all the features of the car and getting me set up on the My Chevrolet app too. A great experience!

I recently had the misfortune of visiting this dealership & realized how dishonest car salesmen can be.Contacted this gentleman named Jose & we fixed the vehicle & price before I visited the dealership. I m not local to the area so drove 80 miles each way to get to this dealership, here is my experience.1. They tried selling me a lower trim vehicle passing it off as the vehicle that we are agreed upon via text. When I called this out, the salesman went missing for 45 mins, trying to locate the car.2. He came back with another guy & casually mentioned that the vehicle was sold, but promised another vehicle at the same price that we had agreed upon. The new vehicle was 500$ more expensive than the earlier one.3. We took a test drive & at the time of the paperwork l, I was quoted a higher amount (500$ more). I pointed this out & they went missing for another 30 mins.4. The guy came back & told me that I ll have to pay the additional 500$ & that they will not respect the earlier commitment.5. Since I realized that these guys were dishonest, I walked away. They let me walk away for a mere 500$ & their word meant nothing. I ended up wasting 6 hours of my weekend with over 160 miles trip. I took the same offer to Chevy of Fremont & they sold me Bolt EUV, the very next day. Please stay clear of Chevy of Watsonville as they are out there to cheat you.

This review might seem odd. I m giving 5 stars even though I think the facilities are old and needed an upgrade years ago. However, the staff and customer service really are exceptional.I bought my 2018 Volt here, and it was a superb deal. The sales staff gave me a good trade in on my previous vehicle - which was a glamorous German car but such a pain - and brought me into the economical, Chevy plugin hybrid experience. I had pledged to never buy an American car but this car has me sold.I had my Volt shipped out to Orlando for a year and a half, and besides tires it was maintenance free. At the end of my work gig there I drove it back 3,000 miles to the Bay Area. Now that I live in Santa Cruz, I come here for services, and get to have a complimentary chair massage while I m waiting. I m not a Pac-Man fan but chair massage ok now you re talking

AVOID AT AL COSTContext: My car was running perfectly fine and one day just shut down. Brought it the shop on March 12th 2024. They told me they had to replace the ignition switch, when they did, it apparently 'shorted out' the computer (ECM), so they had to replace it. Once they did, the car started but more problems appeared that were never there in the first place. Checking engine light on, issues with transmission (stiff gas pedal and stiff shift gears), odometer/speedometer and windshield whippers not functional. I told them all of this and all I got was 'it s new job, we have to diagnose the problem and charge you for this'. For a problem that was caused by the work that was done on the car! And they want me to pay more for them to fix it! They even told me that the TCM and ECM were not connected! It s definitely issues that were created by them and they seem either oblivious about that and/or did not want to recognize it. I never had these issues before and suddenly they appeared. On top of that, if I had not said anything, they would have literally never mentioned it and let me drive home with all these issues, which I eventually did as I did not want to pay more on the sport than I already did ($1200 for a car now barely functional now!). That's a totally unacceptable professional behavior.

I have a F250 work truck - Watsonville Ford wasn't able to do repairs (vandalized by Oakland thugs & Big-O Tires whom performed inadequate suspension repairs) and North Bay Ford is a joke.Watsonville Chevy's Clara (awesome communicator and problem solver) put me w Alex - Service Manager - courteous, communicative, took on the project immediately upon tow truck arriving. Outstanding! They are super professional and efficient w text updates w extensive detailed log of what work was done! Very clean and BIG facility - my new go-to for my cars - heck, I'm thinking I should trade my truck for a beautiful new GMC or Chevy - they have good looking work trucks right there in the lot. Fun to walk around and dream big. Que lindo Wasson.

My father brought my diesel truck, which has less than 70k miles on it, into this dealership when I was out of the country after a check engine light came on. It turned out to be an issue with the diesel particulate filter. The shop gave us a very high quote. I took the truck to a different shop for a second opinion. They simply did a forced regeneration (self-cleaning) on the filter. Within 2 hours I had the truck back for $325.UPDATE: my original review of Watsonville Chevy was too harsh. I have talked with a couple people now who had the same issue but forced regeneration didn't work and they ended up back at the dealership anyway. In other words, I might have just gotten lucky with the quick fix. The sensors are super sensitive and if the light remains on (even if the truck drives fine), passing smog is a no go. It's also possible that dealerships are required to change the whole part, which wouldn't be Watsonville Chevy's fault.

My 2017 Chevy Malibu hybrid car was there for more than 3 months. I broke down on 9/30 on the freeway as the car went completely dead and the screen said "shift to park". It has 96k miles on it. It needed over $15,000 worth of work for an electric issue they couldn't diagnose. After they "finished", I picked it up the second week of January and had the car for a week before the check engine light came on and I had to take it back. They said it would be $2000 to fix, and there was no way of knowing if it was linked to the 3 months they had it, even though it was a huge, random broken thing that had a screaching sound after they had taken the car apart and put it back together again. I fortunately was able to complain enough for the manager at GM all the way at the top to give me a deal and only pay $400 (hence the 1 star), but here we are, another month later and it just broke down ON THE ROAD and locked up with the exact same code on my screen "shift to park" completely dead. Either they screwed up and didn't do what they were supposed to do correctly, or its a thing that cannot be fixed and GM sold me a lemon piece of junk.

Flor was awesome. Love my old leaded Chevy bolt, very happy to be buying a new one. Like $25k after rebates, these cars are a great deal for the family around town car.

I took my truck to Chevrolet of Watsonville for a transmission service and an Oil service. Alex Gil, my service advisor took all the information and said that it would take about 2 hours. The truck was done as indicated and they even washed my truck, and that was a pleasant surprise. Alex was very polite. It's always nice to see somebody who actually cares about what they do. Thank you, Chevrolet of Watsonville and Alex.

Generally, I do not take my car to a dealership for repairs. I prefer a local shop I have used for 11 years. I chose Chevrolet of Watsonville this time because the repair was covered by the car's warranty -- and was pleasantly surprised! Service Advisor Alex Gil's combination of friendliness, professionalism, mechanical knowledge and communication skills won me over. -- Frank Gallant, Soquel, CA

Best Dealership experience of all time!!!This past summer my girlfriend was in the market for an electric car, and after doing some research decided on the Bolt. I'm the one obsessed with deals in our partnership, so I took the lead on making sure she got the best possible price on her vehicle. I called every dealership in the greater Bay Area, and only Chevy Watsonville was willing to place an order at MSRP with no markup.Fast forward to mid December and the car is delivered. Jay was able to do the following for us:+ Hold the vehicle for a 1/3/23 purchase so my gf would qualify for the Federal Tax Credit+ Accepted Uber ($2K) and Costco Auto ($500) discounts+ Honored pricing at MSRP even though by that time Chevy Watsonville was charging a $1K markup on sales (which is still less than the 20+ dealerships in the greater Bay Area that I called, which ranged from $1,500 to $5K)By the time we bought the car it was the last Bolt left. All others had been sold on 1/2/23. I'm kind of amazed they didn't sell the vehicle to another customer as I'm sure someone would have bought it for above MSRP!On top of that, the actual sale process was unbelievably seamless. Jay collected all of my gf's info ahead of time and we were literally out the door within 30 minutes. Had we not needed to do the OnStar onboarding (required to get $500 EVgo credit) we would have been out in less than 20 minutes. We also enjoyed a delicious vanilla latte!Big shout out to Jay for being an absolute pleasure to work with! Special shout-out to managers Luis and Jeremy as well!Tl;dr -- Chevy Watsonville has the best pricing in the region, the people there keep their word, and the sales process is super smooth. It is well worth the drive from San Francisco (very scenic actually) and you can treat yourself to great eats in Santa Cruz along the way :)

My mother in law and my sister in law have tried getting their vehicles serviced here. Everytime they go they give them a different excuse on why they can't accept GMs prepaid maintenance program. This is beyond ridiculous. They told my mother in law that they will only cover $40 and we will be responsible for the remaining $65+tax.Reread the entire agreement and no where does it state that. I'm guessing they are just mad that we didn't purchase the vehicles here because they tried bait and switch. Will definitely be contacting them tomorrow. Service advisor also said that he called GM and that's what they advise. I called GM and they said that is inaccurate and we paid for the services stated in the agreement which states engine oil & filter change*Tire rotation.Attached are pictures of agreement with highlighted portion that states "Purchaser acknowledges that the service MUST be preformed at the SELLING Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, Cadillac dealer OR (VERY IMPORTANT WORD) ANY(ANOTHER VERY IMPORTANT WORD) Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, Cadillac dealer.

We brought in our 2013 Camaro for service, and let me tell you, their service was horrible. They have an appt where you confirm the repairs and payment, which tend to be on the higher end, but once you do, that is it. The app doesn't provide any updates, just approvals for payment. I called after 2 days to see what is the ETA or status, I was on hold for over 30 minutes. I was told my car should be ready in a few days, they are waiting for parts. I asked if there is a loaner car we could use, they said yes, give us a call tomorrow and you can pick it up. We'll, I call the next day and after 30 minute hold, I get told "No, car". Ok, I'm fine with that, as long as I have an ETA on my car, which they provided. I get a call on the day and get told my car is ready, they are going to wash it, and after, it's good to pick up. I go in to pay the 1700 bucks and my car is dirty as can be. It's as if they got it wet and drove it in a dust storm. I had to leave, but called and asked if I can go later on to get it washed and was told "No, because it's something free they do as a compliment, but next time you want to pay us 1700.00 dollars, we'll do it" Do not use these guys, they over charge, over promise, and under deliver. Worse customer service around.Edit added on 09-27 1156. See Chevy's response below and note that not a single person reached out by email, text, or phone call. Take that into consideration. I was able to convince my job to stop using them for servicing our fleet and was able to convince a family member and a friend to buy their trucks in Salinas instead. It's unfortunate that they own all the dealerships in Watsonville, as I would have love for my tax dollars to stay here.

Update: I found out when getting my car appraised that the car that they sold me was in a major accident and repainted. I looked back at the vehicle history report that they gave me and it showed no reported accidents or damage of any kind. At best, they didn't do their due diligence when obtaining the history of the car that they were selling, at worst they purposely misrepresented the condition of the vehicle.Original: The sales team were very nice and gave me a great price on the vehicle! However, I noticed a clunking sound a couple days after driving the car and after speaking with my sales advisor I was told that the repair would be covered by warranty or at a reduced price. My car was out of the factory warranty but they agreed to fix the issue for free.Dealers that care about doing right by their customer and keeping their business are few and far between. This one is a hidden gem.

We brought in our 2014 Chevrolet Spark EV for service. The parts were ordered and we brought the car in soon after. The work was done ahead of time, and the car was fully charged. Serafin and the Service Department were great and everyone was very friendly. I have to say they have upped their customer service lately.

If this is the Chevy dealer that rescinded a legally binding offer, then stay away from this dealer. Car dealers already have a bad impression and this situation just reinforces that.

Alex was very professional and kept me informed throughout the visit. The sales department was very friendly. The Dealership has been spotless every time I ve been there, including the service and parts department. It s a clear indication of quality and attention to detail. I highly recommend this business.
