The Sneed family business is by far the most professional, fair priced, and friendly business in town. That s the last kind of comment you would expect to hear when you think of an auto shop but these guys are truly the exception. I don t normally write comments especially positive ones but these guys deserve it. I ve been taking my cars and trucks to the Sneed s since they bought the business. The owner Danny completely designed and built an off road truck for me. It s not the normal service they offer day to day but he s the kind of guy to take on anything you throw at him. Outside of the toy project, my whole family and circle of friends also take their cars in to this shop for everything from smogs to major repairs and small maintenance and they ve all had nothing but great things to say. We all agree that these guys are the only shop we ve ever had an honest experience with.Reading through the couple negative comments below makes me question the integrity of the person making the comment because I ve only experienced genuine people at this shop. As long as they stay in business I ll be taking everything I own to them!! Thank you Sneed family.

Recently purchased a car for my 17 yr old from a private seller. As a woman I preferred having someone look at the car before purchasing it for a second opinion, Doug was great! He had his son who works in the shop take it for a drive and then he pulled it into the shop and looked it over. They didn't charge me a penny for their time. To me that shows character, community and great customer service. I will most definitely be back for future maintenance on my cars.

Took car in for a new ac compressor, said they would install the one I brought. They didn t even put the new on on, they must have just replaced the ac clutch and kept the new part. Shady place would not recommend to anyone. They are crooks and dishonest.Service: Air conditioningService: Air conditioning

In December of 2020 I had Sneed's replace a brake booster on a 2002 Duramax. The part was defective from the factory and the truck had to be taken back and Sneed's redid the job at no additional cost, but installed the same low quality part as the first time around. About a week later the booster failed again while out of town and I had to pay a different shop to install another booster of higher quality and it's been working fine ever since. I returned the defective part back to Sneed's and was told they'd get me a refund for the part at the very least, but even after reaching out several times that has never happened. So all in all I'm out roughly $400 for the bad part, plus the labor expense for the original install that got me nowhere.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

Owned a "Bullet Proof" 2006 Ford 6.0 diesel, not anymore thanks to Sneeds. A $5,000 repair job, limped 400 miles, then no more.Short Version;Took my truck to Sneeds, after half a year of limited communication, and lies even when in contact, the truck was running worse than when it was taken to them. It would take almost a year, and a shop that actually tried to work on the truck, to find out the motor was about to seize. It would be until, today(4/10/21), and a new owner of the truck, to find out that Sneeds had not replaced the Injectors properly, which lead to the death(for me) of a $140,000 "Bullet Proof" 6.0.Long Version; At the start of 2020, I took my truck to Sneed's due to a blown head gasket, diagnosed at a separate shop, that was not equipped to make the repairs. So a month later, in February after the truck had been with them for a month, I picked it up. I immediately knew something was different, but was told to just drive it, to reset the computer in the truck. After a week, of struggling to get up, and around the hills where I live the truck was towed back to Sneeds. This is when things became messy, It would not be until July that I would get the truck back, in the same state as it had been towed there in February. Furthermore it would take multiple pleas with the Bureau of Automotive Repair(BAR), which fell on deft ears, to have Sneeds get in contact with me. Ultimately Sneeds, and a third party, a Ford dealership in close relation to Sneed's, would tell the BAR that they had tried to get in contact with me over the months. This was a simple lie, since do to Covid, someone was home at all times, not to mention they had my cell number. In the end, I would have my truck towed back to my house. However over the next few days, more problem would come to light. Like the truck not having any coolant in it. At that point, Sneeds, and all other parties had blacklisted me, one would even claim to not work on diesels despite having worked on the truck. Further, all involved with the trucks repair, insisted the turbo was bad.It would not be until August, at which point the truck had 400miles since Sneeds "repair", that I found a shop a 120 mile north of Sneeds, to take the truck to. Here, I would find out that 3 gallons of coolant had made its way to the crank case. Then, would find out that the Motor was on the brink of SEIZING, it was dumb luck that I had made it to their shop at all. A rather dark fact since to accelerate onto the freeway almost caused a crash, due to how the truck ran. Ultimately I would write the truck off, for a mere $4,000, a fraction of the $100,000 of bullet proofing work done to the truck, $140,000 if you include the original purchase price of the truck. All of which leads to today(4/10/21), that I received a call from the shop I took the truck to. They were tearing down the motor for the person who now owns the truck, and called me with the news. The problem, simply put, was the injectors were not installed properly in the head. This is what caused the coolant to get to the oil pan, and for the truck to become a very expensive paperweight.Service: Engine repair
