Car Code has the best service! They were able to diagnose my light to understand what service I needed and conduct my oil change and tire pressure in under an hour. Each time I ve brought my car here I ve had the best customer experience including dropping off our car to our house because of some schedule differences. Thank you car code!

Fast, honest, polite, good price. And out of the 8 mechanics I called, they were the only one to answer the phone. The guy at the front desk was the only upbeat front desk employee I've ever seen at a mechanic. I was in and out of there in about 20 minutes. Also, they didn't try to add-on a million things, which is why I'm definitely going back as soon as I need something.

Technicians are incompetent and have a very bad track record of being able to do basic jobs.More recently, I went in for an alignment and mount/balance for my wheels.I was left with a damaged strut tower (to which they are reluctant to repair and do not reply to my messages) and damaged my wheel trying to mount my tires. - Pictures attachedMy only option was to go to different shops after my rims and strut tower being damaged with no reimbursement or effort to fix what they damaged.My previous experiences have been notable the same along with many others whom I know that have went to this shop for service.Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Tire rotations, Vehicle Inspection, Brakes, Auto tire replacement, Auto maintenance, Oil change

for those drivers who are particular about their seating position and do not have memory seating, do not take your vehicle here. they moved my seat on purpose when i told them NOT to do so. they weren t taking my car for a diagnostic test drive, just moving it from the parking spot into the bay. prices are expensive and service is extremely mediocre. they will intentionally butcher the spelling of your name on the invoice just to antagonize you. take your car to silverstar down the street or basically any other auto shop, you will be disappointed here.

I 've been here several times.they are efficient. The price is affordable. They changed name from walnut auto care to car code. I have already recommended tow friends. They can speak Chinese.

These guys were life savers. got stranded in East LA with a blown water pump and several other issues. My car started overheating, so I went on yelp to find a mechanic. Car Code had excellent reviews, so I decided to give them a call. They were extremely professional when I called them, so I decided to take it in. They attended me as soon as I walked in, seemed very knowledgeable and again very professional. They checked my car and were very detailed in explaining to me what the issue was, I decided to have my car serviced there. They closed at 5pm, but out of courtesy to me because they knew I really needed my car, they stayed till close to 7pm to have it ready. My car runs perfectly fine now. They seem very trustworthy and are very professional. I ll be beinging my car here for all my car repairs. I highly recommend them, it is no wonder why they have 5 stars on yelp. It s hard to find a trustworthy mechanic, and Car Code definitely is.

I was just about to get the thermostat replaced on my 2013 BMW 528i at another shop when a friend encouraged me to check with James at Car Code before dropping it off. James was very curtious over the phone and called me back within a few minutes with a quote...the price was almost 30% cheaper than the other shop...so I verified what I needed again...he said yes - full replacement parts/labor.My buddy has very high end cars so I figured if he trusts them so should I.What a pleasant experience I ve had with these guys, both James and Louis are extremely polite and helpful...not to mention other techs that I spoke with while picking up my car.I fully recommend these guys to anyone having mechanical issues, don t be skeptical about the beautiful and clean shop thinking they re probably really expansive...not at all. Great people, clean shop, and low prices.Thanks again - will bring my other cars to you guys as well.-Oscar

Brought it in to get something tightened. The next day, it was doing the same thing. Went somewhere else, and so far, no more rattling on the exhaust. Very expensive, and did not go the extra mile to check the vehicle. They try to upsell!

This is a great auto shop. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. Got my break pads replaced and resurfaced my rotors in about an hour. Thank you for the great customer service, I will be back for more work.

Went there to check them out since I had a Free oil and filter change from a raffle they held a month ago. They did an excellent job and have great hospitality with customers. They work on all a Japanese and Euro cars with very reasonable prices..

Car died away from home so roadside assistance took me here.Awesome customer service and professional staff! Fixed my car up at a good bargain.Workers offered to call me an Uber but I decided to stay.Did homework there for 5 hours while I was waiting for parts to be shipped in. Nice waiting area with free WiFi and drinks for customers.Would consider coming here again if I lived closer. Would recommend this place for repairs!

I recently acquired a Porsche Cayenne S E-Hybrid and was in search of a shop that would provide the level of service that I demand for all my vehicles. Car Code was recommended by someone that I trust and I took the car there for service yesterday. I could not be happier with the service from Louis Chung and the mechanics who were professional in every way. I will continue using Car Code for my auto service needs now that I have complete confidence in their abilities to provide outstanding service.

Pros: very friendly staff. Able to fix most of my issues. Didn t seem to add on any additional fees and was pretty straightforward with their price beforehand. Open during the holidays.Cons: a bit disorganized. Had to call them several times to get updates on the car. A bit pricier than other shops.I came in here the day after Christmas. They were the only auto repair shop open since everyone was closed for the holidays. I came because my check engine light was on. I also told them if they had extra time, I had a minor issue with my drivers side door if they could take a look at it. If not, it wasn t a big deal. I came in at 12 pm on Thursday. I first called to see if they were open and busy. The guy who answered was very friendly. He asked for my name and to bring it in. Nothing else was said. I came in about 10 min. The guy at the front desk was also friendly but he was confused because the information was all wrong in his system and didn t match the car I brought in. He ended up calling the guy I spoke to on the phone to come in and the guy apologized and said he just made up a bunch of the information on the computer so he could register me or something. It wasn t a big deal but wasn t a very good first impression of the place.After jotting down my real information, he tells me that the guy on the phone told me there would be a $55 diagnostic fee. I told him the guy never said anything about that but again, not a big deal, since almost all shops have this fee and it gets waived if you go on with the repair. They said they closed at 5 so I assumed I d get back my car or at least hear from them before then. It wasn t until 430 that I ended up having to call them to see whatsup with my car. A nice lady answered and said she had to check. She tells me they found a part broken and needed to order that part from the dealer with my permission and that they wouldn t be able to deliver till the next day. I was annoyed that I had to call to find this out but I let it go. She said they d get it done first thing in the morning so I was waiting to pick up my car in the morning the next day.I don t hear from them again. I end up having to call them again around 1. They told me the part hasn t arrived yet and that the dealers tend to be slow on shipping. They said they d update me as soon as they got the part. They didn t. I had to call again around 3 where they told me they just got the part and are working on it. They finally sent me a text to let me know my car was ready. When I picked up the car, I asked if they checked my door at all and because the guy didn t write it down, they didn t.All in all, I d probably still come back. Very friendly staff albeit a bit disorganized. Feel like they should have let me know right away they needed to order a part with my permission instead of waiting until the end of the day so that id have to leave my car there. They re a bit pricier than other local shops, but they said it s bexauae they use better quality products.

It s always hard to find an great and ethical place where you can take your car but this place is IT! Hands down the bests mechanics in Orange County! Super honest and can do Everything from A to Z! I wouldn t take my car anywhere else and beats the dealership pricing by far!!

I took my mom's 2000 BMW 325i to Car Code when she accidentally poured motor oil into her power steering fluid reservoir. The Car Code staff was extremely friendly in explaining the details of the repair, which really put my mom at ease. That kind of rapport is rare from an auto repair shop and it really separates Car Code from just about any other garage I've been to.On top of their friendly service, this is one of the cleanest repair shops I've ever seen. The service bays are not cluttered with old car parts or unused tools. It really inspires confidence in the tech wrenching on your car.

What a nice place. I m glad they were able to get a bigger building. Louis was very nice and very knowledgeable about all the questions I had. Thank you all very much. Will definitely be coming again and will refer car code to friends and family.

Satisfied too the max and then some!!took my 02 explorer in for a check up cuz I took it to another "mechanic"who will remain nameless let's just say me and the boys at car code had a good laugh...Louis was a very big help and professional answers all of your questions and goes into detail with you don't really get that somtimes from a mechanic all in all Car Code is the real deal and you have a couple of customers for life
