Walnut Creek Ford Dealership truly sets the bar high when it comes to customer service and convenience. I recently had to deal with a recall on my Ford car, and the experience with this dealership has been nothing short of exceptional. One of the standout features of Walnut Creek Ford is their commitment to making the process as convenient as possible for their customers. When I informed them about the recall, they went above and beyond by offering to pick up my car directly from my workplace. This level of service truly exceeded my expectations and made the entire process hassle-free.Moreover, the professionalism and efficiency demonstrated by the dealership's staff further contribute to their stellar reputation. From scheduling the pickup to keeping me updated throughout the repair process, their communication and attention to detail were impressive.Overall, my experience with Walnut Creek Ford Dealership has been nothing short of outstanding. Their commitment to customer satisfaction, coupled with their convenient services, makes them the best dealer in my book. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of top-notch automotive service.

I bought a used truck from Walnut Creek ford, experience was okay. I noticed once we got into financing the salesman seem to have rude attitude change since I was pre-approved through my bank. I also asked if he can order me a new grill emblem since it was shown on the photos and when I went to see the truck it wasn't there, he said he would order it and I never got it. After I signed all the paperwork and I was done with everything they were in a rush for me to leave since it was near closing time.after a Month or so I noticed a ticking noise coming from my engine, I made an appointment and when I showed up they said they wouldn't work on my ram since they're not certified and sent me to their "sister" dealer. that dealer told me to go back since they didn't want to do the warranty work and they said walnut ford should do the work. Long story short after going back and fourth all day on my day off I wasted my time and I was left to deal with the issue myself.I wasn't able to make an appointment at any dealerships in time of my warranty period due to the holidays. Now I'm stuck with a big bill since Walnut Creek didn't want to work on my truck like the salesman promised me the would.I wasn't going to write a review but after hearing that I'll be spending a few thousand dollars in repairs I'm pretty irritated.wouldn't recommend going here

I came here quite a bit back - 3rd week of December I believe - and had a terrible experience with one of the sales representatives. Due to a busy schedule, I've only had time to post this now, regardless, I still wish to express my negative experience.Everything was fine at first. When we arrived around 5PM, a sales representative came up to us; she introduced herself, we exchanged names, I stated I was interested at looking at their Expeditions, and we went towards where they kept the new ones. After asking about the vehicle camera options, I asked if it had a digital rear view mirror option. She appeared to have gotten a bit confused with the question, so I further clarified what it was and how other manufacturers have it, and her response was "This is Ford." Yes? That's why I'm asking if this car has a feature I've seen in others as it appears to be standard/optional across the industry? Then she proceeded to say that they(Ford designers) wanted us to look down at the screen and proceeded to show me the car's proximity alert? That wasn't even my question, and the camera won't stay on at highway speed unlike a digital review mirror that shows you everything behind you consistently.I asked if she had anymore Expeditions in the Timberlane trim in any extra storage facilities, her response was "what storage facilities?" in a very condescending manner. I had to furthered clarify what a storage lot was, and she started to look. I noticed she was taking a long time, so I gave more details on what I was looking for and if she managed to find any other Expeditions. She appeared to have gotten upset and stated in a attitude driven manner that there's almost 500 cars, and she doesn't know them all and it takes time to go through them while increasing her voice. I was merely giving more information to narrow the search, was curious if she found any, and didn't want to sit in awkard silence; we exited the car after she found nothing.I was intersted in a Expedition MAX wheelbase. It was quite dark, and we were at the rear of the vehicle when I asked what trim it was. Her response was "It's an XLT, it says right there" while pointing next to my leg while smiling and giggling to herself before walking off. What? How is that funny? Trim level names are not consistent throughout the industry; some don't even label their cars as such, and letters on a car doesn't always point to a trim, not to mention how dark it was.I was also interested in their Platinum trim Expedition, however I needed a MAX after feeling how more open the MAX felt. So I asked if she could look in the storage lot, she did, stated they had one, and I asked if it was on the lot or in storage. Her response was - in a very obtuse, insolent, and attitude driven manner - "Sir, if it was here I would have shown you it" while moving her arms up and down in a shrugging motion and imcreasing her voice. Seriously? There's hundreds of cars here, you don't even know what you have in storage, what makes you believe you know what's on the lot? It could be in the back with maintenance, on a test drive, just arrived today and needs to be stickerd, or hidden elsewhere on the lot.I wanted to leave, but they had a used 2020/21 Expedition that I asked to look at. She said it's not what I'm looking for as it doesn't have 2nd row captian chairs as it was a preference I stated previously. I still wanted to look as it's a preference, not a need, and it's an older model so I wanted to see what has changed or what the previous owners did to it, and it gives good insight on how it looks & feels so maybe I can try to find something similar elsewhere; broadening my search options in the prosses. Well, after it was unlocked and having a hard time getting in because she didn't take it out while also being wedged between 2 cars, it did have 2nd row captian chairs. I information her about this and her response was "okay". What do you mean okay? You literally said it doesn't? She either lied, or truly did not know and yet was confident in her ignorant response. We left soon after.

It's sad when you think that bringing a car to the dealership for repairs is the solution. Unfortunately I can say its not the solution, especially at this dealership. My Lincoln Towncar had experienced A/C issues which caused unusual sounds. My service advisor was in outer space with the reality of the diagnosis. After 3 visits and no correct diagnosis I gave up. It only took less than 5 minutes to properly diagnose and correct the issues when trained mechanics looked at it at another shop. Quite frankly I wouldn't have Walnut Creek Ford work on my bicycle, let alone a car.

I had an issue with my Five Hundred and brought it here for service, as I believed they were one of the better dealers in the Bay. I worked with Matt and ultimately the Service Manager Joe, and I'll say that they were both extremely helpful and professional throughout the entire trying experience. I wish the technicians were as good as the customer facing reps.As brief as possible... I initially brought my car in for a power steering leak. They "fixed" it for $2k but two days later it was leaking as much as it was before. I was then told about a host of other leaks / problems, and it would cost another $1.8k to fix. At that point, they had me locked and I couldn't do anything. Fast forward through FIVE additional trips back to the dealer where I had to leave my car to fix the same problem, it's now been 6 months since my initial visit and my car is still leaking as bad as it was day 1. They claim they can't find where it's leaking from, but the power steering and/or oil (or whatever it is) is all over my garage floor. It is completely unacceptable that they are unable to fix it. Period. Now I'm almost $4k in and I'm leaving the Bay Area with a car that isn't fixed. I know there isn't much legally I can do, but I'm still exploring options just to get my money back at minimum.

I ve been looking for a Bronco for years. Got burned during delays and by other dealerships marking up inventory. Paul Herguth got me one for sticker and not a penny more. No pressure from sales or finance. Good interest rate too in this market. I couldn t be happier with my purchase of a V6 2D Black Diamond. Many thanks Paul from Ivan and Chrissy.

First class service albeit expensive! Convenience of customer lobby with complimentary gourmet coffee vending machine, water, TV and Wi-Fi. They washed my big F250 which was a nice added touch. Service advisors are kind and professional.

This review is for Mark Scharnhorst. I placed an order for the new 2022 Maverick in June of this year and finally received the vehicle this week. Mark has been great throughout the entire process, and I would highly recommend going to him if you re in the market for a new vehicle. Not only did Mark answer my numerous questions for several weeks on end, but he went above and beyond on multiple fronts. Ultimately, Mark came in before the sales department opened, on his Sunday off so that I could pick up the truck a day early, and so that I wouldn t have to take time off work. While other dealerships can be quite predatory even in normal times, and some are marking up even special orders by thousands of dollars amongst the current shortages, Walnut Creek Ford was neither of these. Mark honored both the partnership plan and rebate I was eligible for without hesitation. Dianne Duke, the finance manager, was also great. All in all, there are easily 10 Ford dealerships within 25 miles of me and Walnut Creek is not the closest. I chose this location based on good past experiences with the service department and I m very glad I did. I would be more than happy to return and give Mark, and Walnut Creek Ford, my business. Mark, if you see this thank you again! We love the Maverick and hope you like yours too.

Best Ford dealer in Bay Area so far. Brought my car here for service. Culture here is friendly, for everyone I ran into from the service reps, tech, and desks all were very friendly and helpful. The manager even asked me if I was ok! Just goes to show you can be both a car dealer and not cold. Will be bringing my car back here for service even though other Ford dealers are much closer!

I am looking for a new ride. Omar Wahba was the sales person that helped me. He was great. Answered all my questions with respect and courtesy. We drove a new Explorer, it is larger than the Edge I am use to. I was in, and without any high pressure. Thank you.

I am currently on my 3rd Ford vehicle, I have been loyal to Ford since I have been 16 yrs old. I have tried different Ford dealerships in Bay Area and in my honest opinion Walnut Creek Ford is absolutely the best.First of all the Service department is excellent. Joe Sarullo is the service advisor I always work with and he always surprises expectations. He is very knowledgeable and definitely makes sure that my car is in top condition. Now if you are looking to buy a new car, the Sales department is great and easy to work with. A heartfelt thank you to Pat Cahill for his outstanding assistance in ordering my Dark Horse. His exceptional communication and support truly made it possible for me to have one today. Pat will genuinely take care of you and make sure you are happy with your purchase.I also want to express my gratitude to Shahram Tavakol, the sales manager, for his help with my purchase. Shahram kept me informed about my vehicle's status and location throughout the waiting period, even going the extra mile to capture the car's delivery on video as I couldn t be there.During the financing process, Garrett Shaver, the Finance Manager, provided invaluable assistance. Unlike many others in his role, Garrett was honest and transparent, offering genuine advice without any pressure. All in all, Walnut Creek Ford excels in everything they do and I definitely recommend them.

My husband took our 2023 Maverick in to get it back up and running - after being in a small accident the battery died and we couldn t figure out how to charge it back up. They gave us an estimate and we agreed to have them do the diagnostics. They called us stating we need to have a seatbelt sensor for the drivers seat replaced and we agreed to that, 5 weeks later we started asking for updates, when will it be ready etc.. they told us their battery charger is dead. We asked them if they figured out what the issue was and they said not yet. After 5 weeks of having the truck you still don t know what s wrong with it? Their response is you need a new $2300 battery .First of all, the truck has a mere 600 miles on it, so it does not make sense that it would need a new one so soon if there was no damage to it:We asked them if they checked the battery sensor as that may be the main issue with the battery not responding- then they said what sensor? Would you have your friend who told you this call us so they can tell me what sensor? We ended up telling them we would pick up the truck and we did, when we went to pay the bill it was over 2,300.00!!! For what??? Then we find out they NEVER replaced the seatbelt sensor!Very Disappointed that they couldn t pick up the phone and call a FORD Engineerto ask for advice!

After having bad experiences with other dealerships in the past. I was prepared for the worst when I went to pick up my new 2023 Ford Maverick Tremor at Walnut Creek Ford. I had waited over a year for my new car and was dreading the ever-so-tedious process of hassling for the best price. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how easy and stress-free the process was with this dealership. From the moment I walked in, the sales team made me feel comfortable and valued. They took the time to listen to my needs and preferences and didn't try to push any unnecessary extras or additional fees on me. They provided clear and transparent information about the car and financing options, which allowed me to make an informed decision without any pressure. The finance team was also a pleasure to work with. They were upfront about all the fees and charges associated with my purchase and didn't try to sneak in any hidden costs. They made the process quick and easy, and I felt like they had my best interests in mind throughout.Overall, my experience with Walnut Creek Ford was a complete contrast to my previous experiences with other dealerships. They made the process so easy and stress-free that I felt comfortable and confident in my purchase. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy dealership that puts customer satisfaction first.

Had a recall. Fleet service hooked me up with an appointment within 2 days and expedited service because I waited in the lobby. Every other Ford dealer in my area told me it would be a month out. Excellent service at walnut creek.

More expensive than some ford dealerships, but the service comes with great quality and well trained staff looking after your vehicle. Went recently for an oil change and it additionally included a top off on fluids, battery test, set tire pressure and complimentary car wash & vacuum. The complimentary car wash was nice since I hadn't had time to wash the car recently working overtime and I don't go to automatic washes with the convertible. Service was faster than expected plus the staff and manager were very friendly and polite.

My bad experience with Ford (Mustang) start here at this place. I have bought a New 2015 Mustang at Walnut creek Ford. I bought a car from a salesman Name (Tom) after agreeing in put a huge amount (10,000) of down payment just because I always wanted to buy a Mustang Tom offer me that he would give me a full tang at my first time oil change which of course he did not and also promise that he would lower my interest rate after one year of on Time payment which I been very careful with. I never miss a payment at all once I call him up to lower down that interest charges he said it's not worth it. Why would you promise me if you know it's not. Good salesman even thought he can't keep his promises. after all I ignored all the lies and bad experience and i was just happy because of my new champ. My worst experience comes in now when the car start having factory problem and Walnut creek Ford keeping in it worst. there are list of problems. and the only reason I am writing this long list so customer could see what I have been throw and should be really careful of that.1. when replacing my front sensor they have damage the front right bumper and they told me they were going to replace it and once the new bumper some in the will call me. I went back because of other issues where I have mentioned it to (Erin) and all he said I will put in adhesive and that would fix the problem. But of course it did not because it came off.2. I still can't believe I had a water lake in my new 2015 Mustang that I have only drove 30k miles. I took it to Walnut creek ford so they could see what is the problem and from there all i had was problem with the car and the service department. They had to replace so many things until the finally find out as they stated they did. I was told they would have to replace the windshield but, as Mr. Erin suggested they would only reseal the windshield instead of replacing it. They had to release it over 2 times and when they finally did, there were few creaks on the class and also have made a damage to the upper paint and also dent it as well. Never got this problem solve at all until today.3. Don Not accept the Car renter agreement because they said it's free of charge and of course they would send you to Hertz which I always had to pay $30 out of my card. After all Ford factory had made me a settlement because I have done a LEMON LAW and they at least taking care of there problems not LIKE THE WALNUT CREEK FORD did been ignoring me for almost 2 weeks.Walnut creek damages was over $2,700 so be careful what they doing to your car. Also every time my car was in there shops there would a dent or a scratch so if your car have any and never seeing it before is them who to palm.I had a bit of issue with Richmond Ford but (Tim) was a really nice and professional manager who knows how take customer back. I have called him and he was pleased that I called him and offer to fix an issue with the car sensor.Thank you for taking time to read my post.

This review is long overdue. I ordered a Ford Maverick in July of 2021. I chose Walnut Creek Ford to order from even though I live in Hayward because of the reviews. They did not disappoint. From the beginning they were great. Michael storken was amazing to work with. From the beginning he was in constant communication about my order. My order did not arrive until September 2022. He would regularly update me on the status of my order during those 14 months. If I had a questions he quickly answered them. He's the best salesman I've ever interacted with. Wasn't pushy ,I didn't have to constantly call him to find out the status of my order. I read so many complaints about other people whose salesman had no clue of anything or just wouldn't answer their questions. If you need a Ford do not hesitate to give him a call. Now the store experience was also awesome. Very nice store clean very respectful. There was someone to greet us at the door and offer us coffee tea or water.we we're helped right away and brought in to the finance office. The finance lady was nice but was a little pushy on getting the extended warranty and service contract and I assume it's because they get commission so I get it. She seemed to get upset when I declined and told her I was getting it somewhere else. I would have gotten it from the dealer if they would have worked on the price but that didn't happen. We did get the original financing offer from Ford and rebate so that was awesome. I had read about some detalerships not offering the original financing or giving a hard time about it . They were awesome about it. overall this was an amazing experience purchasing a car from Walnut Creek Ford . If I wanted to purchase another Ford I would not hesitate to purchase from here again. I would also not hesitate to refer friends and relatives .

I bought two vehicles from this place. A truck about 11 years ago and a SUV about five years ago. I have no urge to buy a new vehicle as the ones I have run fine. However, in a economy where most dealers are marking their cars up with insane additional profit margins, these guys don t. I think they deserve a chance based on that alone.I was treated fairly and decently when I bought my car. The service department was also competent and efficient can t complain too much. My cat approves of this place.

This dealership is very small with very little inventory on hand. Also all the vehicles are locked and the sales person needs to open them for you (but I get it, it's in downtown, not a safe area). The sales person that came to help my father and I were not very knowledgeable about the vehicles on hand, and really didn't have much to say. To be honest, I don't think that sales person even wants to work there. Only bonus here is they don't charge dealer mark ups, but you can get the same in Morgan Hill. I'm sorry, but I'd say avoid this particular dealer unless they have a particular vehicle that isn't available at other bay area dealerships. There are way better dealers in the SF Bay with much bigger inventories that you can look at. A few examples would be Livermore and Morgan Hill.

We bought a used car here last month. We were nervous about going to a dealership; I think everyone is. But we couldn't have chosen better. The customer service here is excellent; friendly, helpful, and not pushy. We worked with Craig and Kathleen, and one other guy in the Sales department (wish I could remember his name! Maybe Paul?). They were wonderful. I want to especially call out the fact that Craig let us take the car to our mechanic in Berkeley for a once over. That meant a lot, and gave us confidence in the vehicle and in the business. Highly recommend this dealership.

Bought a new ford maverick at sticker from them, someone backed out of an order. Great transparent pricing, top notch communication from Mark Scharnhorst and Steven Ylagan, and Kathleen Ingrim. Literally less than 24 hours between getting a call from them that the car may be available, to driving it off the lot. Absolutely none of the underhanded tactics you see from many other dealers, super smooth experience and comms. We don't live close but I'd go out of my way to buy from them again.

This was the smoothest and easiest car buying experience I've ever had. Mark was direct and prompt, and when I asked him for an out the door price, he did so without adding on anything unrequested or pulling any of the typical dealer tricks. No bombardment with numbers that dont add up, no cknfusion or delay tactics, just straighforward answers. I drove almost 2 hours to buy a car from them, and I would do it again.

Amazing experience from start to finish! Robert was incredibly helpful throughout the process of reserving, tracking and receiving our Mustang Mach-e. Our delivery was delayed and he helped us get one that was a cancelled order in time for our road trip. Can t speak highly enough of his professionalism and willingness to answer all of our questions. He even went above and beyond by showing us the car s features upon delivery. The finance team was also great to work with. We ll be back and will purchase all our future Fords at Walnut Creek Ford thanks to this stellar experience.

10 out of 10 do not recommend this dealership. Worst service worst communication ever experienced. They make unreal demands, change prices on cars, do not notify you of a price reduction. Sales staff refuses to connect customers with management when asked. Dishonest misleading and change their story every time we talked. They advertise on the inter web but refuse to complete out of state sales. And demand CA taxes and demand CA registration. They have no business selling cars if they are not aware of California law or Federal law with internet sales. Claim they have the lowest prices in the world on any given car found 10 cars in 2 minutes cheaper. Good luck Walnut Creek Ford if were possible I would rate your dealership a -5 star. INTERNET BUYERS BEWARE!!! And your website does not say You do not do out of state sales!!
