Thought that my experience would be better than a traditional dealership, I was wrong. It was worse. No follow through, follow up or initiative. Great car, absolutely awful customer service.

Never met a bunch of happy, helpful, engaged and talkative car salespeople in my life. Not only they will answer all your questions, they will ask you questions about your car and talk about the need for a Tesla battery in your home. You are more than welcomed to sit in any of the models, take as many photos as you want, and love that you post them in your social channels.Of course, the Teslas are beautiful. The salespeople on hand are continuously buffing the cars to keep them shiny, spot-free, and "showroom" ready. The Broadway Plaza location is more of a showroom for "just browsing" or "just looking" while the Dublin location is the actual Tesla dealership for the serious buyers.Best time to visit? Friday night. You will have the store to yourself to sit in the cars and take as many photos as you want.

If you plan to buy or lease a car from the Tesla sales team and are paying a nonrefundable order fee of $250, ask them to break down the price of the car and get a printed copy. I wish someone had explained to me that there is a considerable difference between "Down Payment" and "Due at Signing" for Tesla cars. As for my lease order of Model 3 a down payment of $4500 turned into $7100 due to tax, registration fee, and destination fee,........ which nobody discussed with me before I ordered my car here.

Chase was amazing. His level of customer service was impeccable. He was attentive and so informative. So much so that we ended up buying TWO cars instead of one. Super grateful he was our person.

I was told by a online tesla advisor that this location has a model 3 performance ready for demo, two days later i get there and was told that the m3p was not ready and that the front bumper needed to be fixed. So for the demo they offered a model y performance instead. So no bay area store has a m3p ready for demo! SMFH!Also advisor seemed bored and did not have the answers to a couple of my questions so i guess i know more about the specs then a advisor.I recommend going to the emeryville self serve demo if your looking for a hassle free, more enjoyable demo only without a advisor on site but they also do not have the m3p ready for demo there. SMFH!Attached photos of emeryville self serve demo located at the back of the hotel.

Bought a Model 3 from here. I won't get into details but worst communication I've dealt with ever. It made me actually miss going to a traditional car dealership. To get my car and questions answered in a timely fashion, I ended up just calling another random location and the customer service was much better. Try going to another location if you can, just to make your life a tad easier.

The manager in this facility is extremely rude. Sales rep didn t return the call as promised. They delayed returning color change request call which cost an extra $3000 as the price increased in the two weeks they were ghosting and running around the customer. Don t use this location! Manager is astonishingly rude with threatening behavior. The manager has zero customer service skill, he doesn t know how to listen, keep interrupting and repeating himself as if he is reading from a text. When he is asked to stop he threaten to hang up!! It s too sad that Tesla became too big and too popular that doesn t care about customer service anymore!! When I asked for a phone number to escalate the complaint, they gave me roadside assistance number! I don t know if this location is so incompetent or this is a snobby behavior of Tesla show rooms! I don t recommend this location! If you care about the money you earned hard and want to spend it on an EV, stay away from this location.

Had a horrible sales experience here, it was almost hilarious how unprofessional it was.I wanted to take my Dad into the shop as he was visiting from Singapore which doesn't sell Tesla's just yet and I was heavily considering purchasing one for myself. I was hoping the salesperson would give a good rundown of the cars and the features. We were directed to a tall Asian lady who seemed nice but also kind of uninterested. Amazingly when we asked what the difference between both model 3 and model y cars were she blankly said "they're the same". We paused awkwardly for a period waiting for any other answer but that was it...I know both cars are similar...but come on there are important differences between the two.We then continue to try and look at the cars and ask questions but she only gave one word answers. We even tried dumbing down the questions so she would give better answers, but really it just became more awkward and frustrating. I was hoping to introduce my father to the car in more detail but this lady was making it a horrible experience. We then asked a question about how purchasing would be and she finally said a full sentence. After a few more questions and uninterested answers she then said "so do you want to buy now?"My father and I looked at each other and said "no thank you" and walked out. We bursted out laughing how poor of an experience that was. As if she was only there trying to get a comission without putting in any effort. We had other interests in the solar roof but we're definitely not going back in after that. We tell this story during holiday gatherings. I'm definitely purchasing online to avoid an experience like this again. I do hope this lady gets retrained.

They have actually found a way to have a worse purchase experience than a traditional car dealership! I ordered a Model X in early 2021 and after several delays stopped by the showroom to change the seating configuration when the pricing was the same. My sales advisor, Roula Chahin, was busy with other customers and didn't enter the change in their system before the price changed later that week. Navjeet Gill and Justin Betrock (managers) took 2 months to update my order. They confirmed in writing that despite the new order showing a $10k increase in base price Tesla would honor my original order base price and this was approved by "upper management". After nearly a year of waiting for the car I was informed 2 hours before delivery that they couldn't update their system with the "correct price" and I could either pay the extra $10k or my order would be cancelled (plus I'd likely be assessed delivery fees since they already readied the car for delivery). There is absolutely no way to speak with anyone that has authority at Tesla to resolve situations like this and that authority clearly doesn't reside with employees at this location. The car is great, but make sure you have patience and an extra $10k if you'd like to order one!

So different than traditional car dealers. No hard sell at all. The person we talked to was very patient and friendly, and helped us decide that the cheapest option was probably the best for us. Didn't try to sell any add-ons, and we are very happy with what we got, a Model 3 SR+ without the fancy Full Self Drive, standard no-cost colors and wheels, which is what we preferred.

Do not reserve a model until you are ready to purchase!!!! When I was test driving the model I expressed concern in reserving a model because I was not ready, I was told the reservation fee was "locking in the deal" and I would not be forced to purchase. I was I would not be ready for at least a year and I was told this is not a problem. Now I'm told I have 1 week to pay and commit to delivery or the fee is forfeit. I called the sales rep who told me that and she said that the sales team and the warehouse team are different and there is nothing they can do.The sales team will tell you anything to get you to put money down, and then say there is nothing they can do when what they told you is not true.

Excellent experience! Learned so much, and we were given so many options. Salesman was so informative, with wonderful customer service skills. Can't remember his name, but he commutes in from Stockton and used to live in Reno. He was VERY knowledgeable, friendly, and really spent some quality time listening to what we wanted/needed. As a Tesla owner himself, he was able to share daily driving experiences that convinced us we DO want the X!

Exceptional customer service! Staff were able to answer all of our questions and we never felt peer pressured or unwelcome. We came in to the showroom out of interest, and even after clearly stating that we were going to wait for the Model 3, we were still offered a test drive in a Model S around town!

I enjoyed having the opportunity to get thorough hands on exposure to the Model 3 and the Model Y. Assistants were attentive and ready to help, as needed, but were also comfortable with giving freedom to explore w/o interference.

Visited this location just to show my 12 year old daughter the latest technology in electric cars. We weren't looking to buy, but the staff was very friendly to her and I and explained all the features Tesla's have to offer. We had a great time, and dreamed a little about owning a model X.

Terrible company to work with, they kept delaying the project and last minute cancel an agreement we signed on. Now 3 month after installation apparently they didn't sent the request for PG&E activation. Overall I wasted numerous hours on the phone - big headache. You have other options don't work with them...

What a downer! We just finished reading the book about Elon Musk and were excited to learn we could see our Model 3 to be in Walnut Creek. The situation there was not reflective at all of what we expected. We arrived and there were a few couples looking at the different models. We asked if we signed in our anything to "take our turn". "No" so we waited for one couple to finish their exploration and got in, only to be joined with someone else hopping in the back seat. Whatever.... I would have hoped for some space, like we afforded the people before us. We found the doors made a very loud sound when closing which was unsettling. Then when we got out of the car we asked the female with short brown hair when we may be able to test drive. "Not for a long while" she said, kinda smug and like we had asked for when we can have lunch with Elon. Not a gracious person at all. She should not be facing customers IMHO. That experience took some of the glow off or our anticipation for our Model 3.

These guys responded promptly to my aftersales request right away. My delivery guy and sales agent never did respond. Happy that the stores and service centers are still performing while the delivery process is a shambles.

Worst car shopping experience ever. Extremely stale environment and can't even drive the car. Most people working here are young kids which I would think be a good thing considering the amount of information packed into these cars are like a crazy futuristic cell phone. Unfortunately they lack the life experience of personal conversation and can't keep eye contact for more than 2 seconds because they are glued to an iPad. Thru don't remember anything and every question I had they had to go to the iPad for answers. They more people rely on technology in this fashion, the less they use their brains. Besides after comparing the Testla Model X to the Audi E-tron I would go with the Audi. The quality of the Audi build and craftsmanship inside and out is far beyond what testla is doing. I don't want to have to wait 30 days to have my car fixed for a recall 100 miles away from where I live. Sorry Testla, I had high hopes but unfortunately won't be doing business with you anytime soon. I hope you can get your act together do that we have an American company competing again on the world stage of auto manufacturing.

My sister is in the market for a new car and I am helping her search. Victor Wyatt(product specialist) demonstrated and explained all of the features on the model S. Victor is very knowledge and has passion for all automobiles classic and new. Victor has a full in-depth understanding of the Tesla models and the company's future path. Victor made the time enjoyable and painless.

Antoines pprofessionalism, knowledge of the model x, and wanting to truly help us has just made our experience at tesla that much better. We appreciate all of the staff and how welcoming they're compared to other dealerships. That's not the only reason we will probably end up buying a tesla but it definitely was a factor. When you walk into a dealership and everyone seems miserable and no one wants to help you, do you really want to buy a car from them? I know I dont. Customer service is a must and this place definitely has customer service.

Went from hating the craziness of Elon M. and the elitist feel of Tesla to purchasing two of them. If you were to design a dream car, the Model S would be it. I love the fact that the car does more now than when I bought it. Don't miss gas stations and would buy the car for the autodrive alone.
