I recently had a great experience with this auto service center. The quality of service they provide is Very good. It s advisable to make an appointment in advance, as they tend to be quite busy maybe due to their excellent reputation. This popularity is well-deserved, as they genuinely excel in what they do. One aspect that stood out to me is their transparency throughout the process. You can trust that they re upfront about the work they perform, which adds to the overall positive impression. I highly recommend Oakmont for anyone looking for reliable and trustworthy automotive care.They are a CARFAX center.

I went there last minute at night and they received my car. Next day was fixed at noon. People there is so nice and so helpful. I highly recommend this place !!Professional, fast and excellent job!! Thank you! Definitely I would come back to this place !!

I would highly recommend Oakmont Auto Care! The owner and team there are very professional and knowledgable. They do great and thorough work on my vehicles. I took my truck in Thursday and they were able to inspect and replace my rear tires, front brakes and perform an oil service on my truck; returning it to me the same day. Oakmont Auto Care was also voted the Best Auto Repair Shop in Walnut Creek 3 years in a row. 2019, 2020, & 2021. 5/5 stars!Services: Tires, Vehicle Inspection, Brakes, Oil change

I would rate them 6 stars if I could! I was notified that my brake lights were out, and immediately gave them a call. Being new to the area and seeing their reviews, I was hopeful they would deliver quality service. My call was answered, and they said I could come by immediately. I brought my car by, they checked out the issue, and it ended up being a bigger issue than expected. James immediately described the issue as well as their process to fix it, and outlined everything including costs for me and needing to order the part to fix things. They allowed me to even leave my car there with them overnight so they could do the repairs the next morning, and personally gave me a ride home and picked me up when the repairs were finished. You can't find service like this just anywhere, and I have nothing but respect for James and his team during this process. I will always be coming to them when I am able to for any future repairs. Thank you Oakmont!Edit for a second visit on 5/31/2023:I happened to have the day off and needed an oil change for my Nissan. I could easily have gone to any other location, but I wanted to get that proper level of care and professionalism that Oakmont's team provides. I had some phone issues when trying to call in, so instead I decided to stop by, and James was able to squeeze me in that very day despite their busy schedule! They allowed me to leave my car for a couple of hours, and got the job done so quickly! With Oakmont, you can have absolute trust that they will treat you and your vehicle with kindness, and the best care in the area. He has wonderful attention to detail and makes sure everything in your car is running smoothly. They offer a service where they can drop your car off to you and they even returned it vacuumed and washed! I brought my Honda Civic to James to get new spark plugs put in and new transmission fluid. It was truly a pleasure working with James, and he is very knowledgeable, honest and really understands everything about cars. I would recommend bringing your car to Oakmont Auto Care as your car will be in very good hands there and James is very friendly and helpful and a joy to work with. I was able to get my car in the next day after calling him, and they were all so on it and had the car all ready within a few hours. Thank you James, keep up the good work you guys!

Nice, honest and knowledgeable owner and technicians!!! James, the owner explained to me about the problem in a easy way and charged me with a very reasonable price, compared to other places. They even came to my place to pick me up for going back to the shop to get my car when it was done. That was very touching. In this world, too many greedy people who like to take advantage of others. But this shop really gives me warm feeling and I can build trust again. I definitely will use this shop for anything related to the car and highly recommend it to people. My car had a Check Engine Light, and he researched to learn that my car has an extended emissions warranty, which I didn't know, and informed me that my CEL problem would be fixed by Ford at no cost. My catalytic converter got stolen. Called James. He directed on exactly what I should do, got that part in record time. Great service! James and his team were friendly and professional. I took my Prius in to get a lift kit installed. Not many auto shops are willing to provide a Prius lift, as it's a little unconventional. James and his team are the real deal. In addition to the lift, they noticed an indicator light was out and replaced it free of charge. Super happy with the experience and the results!Service: Steering & suspension replacement

There i was lost and confused without a thought of where to go for my lubrication job. Then i went to a restaurant call twisted times and i saw the sign that said oakmont auto care. I then approached an attractive man named German. I know right away he was my germano. He checked me in and did so in Spanish. I didn't have to press two for Spanish. It was delivered free of shipping. I use translator for people to know what happen a mi. Mi carro necessita una oil change and he took car in very far his garage and he lift it up then down and checka the tyre pressure and rook at my brakes for free. After he added lubrication and filtro, he gave me bill and i paid the piper. German is my hero. I played that song you are my hero as i left shop. He reached into my car to shake my hand and he smiled like enrique iglesias. He took advantage of my willingness to allow him to screw off my undercovers for the change a oil. There was white guy very nice his name is yames. He give me candy and agua

The service at Oakmont Auto Care is extremely good. James, the owner takes his work very seriously and provides very good customer service. I recommend using Oakmont Auto Care for your vehicle needs.This is a great place to bring your car for any auto repairs and maintenance needed. They DO NOT waste your time like other places often do. My tensioner pulley malfunctioned and wouldn t allow my drive belt from rotating. Thankfully Mr.Meier at Oakmont has a lot of patience and time to help any customer, especially me with any automotive issues. Thank you James Meier, your father should have made more of you.

I cannot recommend Oakmont Auto Care enough. I came in one day about 30 minutes prior to their shop closing, frantic because my car died at a car wash around the corner. The men at this shop immediately took care of me with no hesitation and drove me to my car to jump start it and bring it to the shop. The next day, they had ordered the necessary part, fixed my vehicle, and I was back on the roads. Kind, knowledgeable, great mechanics! I highly recommend them!
