Recently visited this location for an oil change and it was a great experience. Staff was friendly, service was completed in less than an hour and pricing was fair. Highly recommend!

I recently went back to Midas in Walnut Creek for additional repairs. This time I needed an anti-freeze tube replaced. They could have stiffed me for a new radiator. But they were honest, which I've found a rarity among auto repair shops. I have lived in the area and practiced law for over 40 years. I was so pleased with their obvious honesty and lack of pressure that I also bought a set of tires as long as my car was in the shop. I have a 2000 Volvo that I am trying to make last into my 80's. They could have lied to me about the prospective results from oil leak trouble shooting and caused me to spend $1,000's of dollars, but they didn't. In my experience most of their competitors would have sent me on an expensive wild goose chase. I went to them for exhaust services last year, but am pleasantly surprised at the full extent of their available services. I put trust and honesty first in auto repairs, ahead of skill and deceit. I highly recommend Midas of WC. Ask for, "Sam," and tell them, "Dan sent me!"***I own a 2000 Volvo. I am a retired atty., 77 years old. I can't afford, even a decent used car beyond this one. I was being sent around the area like a pinball from one crook to another, 6 or 8 in all. Sam is the only one who was honest with me. Between CA state and the crooks I was about to junk my car and wind up on foot for the rest of my life. Sam's nearest and highly recommended (by the swindlers' club) wanted $5,000 for 2 converters plus $1,400 in labor with no guarantees. They emphasized what hard work they would have do to "cut the pipes and weld in the converters." Sam shared with me that only the front 2000 Volvo converter was necessary to pass smog, also that there was no cutting or welding involved. If I found the right converter, it could easily be screwed in for less than $200 from him. Only with his help, I found the vital converter in New Jersey for $1,400 (1 left). I passed smog in the wink of an eye. As an a retired attorney my experience was that a substantial majority of auto repair shops gouge their customers and misrepresent the extent and nature of their needs--way beyond the necessary. For me, Sam was a saint and an answer to prayer. :) Dan

Do not come here unless you like being overcharged. Quoted me $1,174 on parts only for what should be around $500-600 in parts even from the most expensive vendors. Requested my vehicle be put back together. At home when I took my wheel off again two lugs on the same wheel were not tightened at all and cross-threaded . Second visit: Everything is smooth, make appointment, dropoff and my car after service. The wait time for oil change is 1 hour and they are very effecient. My colleague told me that they also chose midas after reading my review.First visit: Did a oil change service last weekend. The price is reasonable. The staffs are nice and helpful. But they record my phone number with mistake so I wait a long time for their phone call to pick up my car and i can't tell how fast they service. it would be better to confirm the phone number again. Overall experience is good and deserve a try.Service: Oil change

For one thing it's convenient because it's so close to me but the service has been consistently great and the staff always friendly. Have been to this location multiple times, they are always fast and professional. Most recently I had a oil change and they helped me with getting two new tires, they communicated with me very well and it was all done faster then expected. I am soooo happy that I have found my new auto shop!!!! Not only are the honest but also kind and funny! I felt like I was amongst friends!!! Been going for years since Sam operated it. They do things timely and wont ask you to redo service that you've already done. Their price is reasonable. Called to make an appointment. Owner said no appointment needed. Walked in, they honored a coupon offered for an oil change, no questions asked. The owner Sam was courteous and professional. They service was very prompt and professional. Was out of there in under 30 minutes total. Great job!

My car is older with around 110k miles, so I asked for the High-Mileage service which also included a tire rotation. I was greeted promptly and courteously. In-n-out time was about 30 minutes, primarily because another vehicle was ahead of mine. Out the door, including tax, the cost was about $55. I didn't experience/encounter any upsale pressure. The technician showed/told me that my brake fluid would need service soon, but its attention wasn't critical to my car's safety. Thanks!

Been going to this location for many years, thru several owners (I think). Never the most organized, customer-friendly place, but they seem to get the job done - only once did I have to return due to work issues - considering perhaps a dozen visits, not bad. That said, haven't found any place better/more convenient, so still go back, mainly for warranty work when I need new brake pads etc.

Owner/Manager Rob was extremely rude and disrespectful. When spoke with him to receive an estimate on service he requested I email him information about the vehicle and area to be serviced. I emailed him the info and he never replied. I then followed up via phone and he requested personal identifying info that would normally not be requested for an estimate and when I asked why he needed it he got defensive and aggressive and denied to complete the estimate. Overall, a horrible experience from the owner, seems sketchy behavior something that you would expect from a scammer.

I wish I could give these guys 1,000 stars. My husband and I were visiting Mountain view, CA for a concert when his right brake caliper came loose and seized his brake causing us to come to an immediate stop on the freeway. After a stressful and long wait for a tow truck I decided to give these guys a call since they were only 4 miles from where we were stuck while we waited. Rod was so friendly and said he would happily take a look at it for free and give us an estimate and probably even get it all fixed TODAY!!! Our tow arrived and brought us to Midas a few minutes later. Rod and his crew started helping us immediately. As soon as we were in the parking lot Rod was trying to figure out what happened and get it fixed. Even with a garage full of other cars he was able to squeeze us in. An hour or so and they had it fixed, gave us a phenomenal cost (less than half of what I expected), and sent us on our way. WITH TIME TO STILL CATCH THE CONCERT!!!! I'm forever gratful. Thank you for hands down the best experience I have ever had at a repair shop. I would recommend to anyone to go here!!

Brought my car in for a free brake inspection because I heard a bad grinding sound. Gave me a free estimate, that seemed high until I called around. Dealer was $300 more, and didn't offer a lifetime warranty. The crew at Midas got the job done in the same day for less, and I now have lifetime warranty on my pads. I'll be saving on brakes for as long as I own the car. Couldn't ask for better service. Friendly and honest.

My husband and I came from LA and leaving tomorrow. We were looking for a place that could check out our brakes and Sam was kind enough to take a look at the car after only having less than 1 office hours. In the end, all our brakes needed was to get bled. We are so satisfied with the services that were provided and would recommed this place to anyone. Thank you Midas!!!!

Had a problem with the suspension on my new Toyota Tacoma.. He was able to fix it were many weren't. Even the dealer was glueless . The owner operator gentleman is a true honest old school owner. Would always come back again as I trust this guy.
