Best exhaust shop around, couldn t be happier with the amazing work from John at Broadway Muffler! He tucked my 2 1/2 inch exhaust up into my Subframe G support system, all custom! John is amazing! I called first thing in the morning as my husband had stopped my cat from being stollen in the middle of the night but the car was loud on start-up. John got it up and quickly found the issue, repaired in 5 minutes, and said "Merry Christmas no charge." I am definitely coming back for a cat shield install and will always recommend Broadway Muffler. He is a stand-up guy!

Very professional and friendly. The owner John is fantastic, his attitude and knowledge are superb, I really appreciated how he treated me when I came in. He did a free inspection, going above and beyond, and was willing to weld and fix my catalytic converter for a reasonable cost. After he got it up on the lift and taken apart to fix, there was an unforeseen issue with a broken part on the catalytic converter that could not be welded and needed to be replaced. He went the extra mile, called Subaru to try and get the part (which was backordered) and then put the car back together for me. Although it didn't get fixed and I have to take it to the dealership for a warranty issue, he didn't charge me for the work he did do, which was just mind-blowing to me. I can't thank him enough just for being a good human with positive energy. Take your car here and you won't be disappointed.

Took my Mazda hear a couple years back but never got around to making a review. I had custom made bolt on exhaust I bought online and just needed it installed. He checked the exhaust and made sure it didn't break any laws and quoted me a decent price. I didn't technically have an appointment because he wanted to make sure he could do the job first. He still got the job done within a few hours. Great price and quick work. Customer service was okay but he seemed to be in a rush, so he just trying to get stuff done ASAP. He had a lot of cars and was running the shop by himself when I went there, so I understand. Would go back again if I ever need anything done for sure.

If you care about quality work this shop is for you. Outstanding craftsmanship and reasonable prices. John the owner is a pleasure to do business with. He's enjoyable to talk to and is immensely knowledgeable. I highly recommend Broadway Muffler!

Finding a good honest auto repair shop in Contra Costa can sometimes be frustrating.I'll tell you from my experience, if you have anything going on with your car take it to Broadway Mufflers in Walnut Creek FIRST.Here's what happened...I had an unknown random, persistent rattling noise coming from underneath my Chevy Tahoe. It was very frustrating and somewhat embarrassing...I had taken my car previously it to two other shops in Pleasant Hill and Concord who had failed miserably at pinning down where the problematic noise was coming from and how to fix it.John at Broadway mufflers was recommended to me.When I called him on the phone and explained what was going on he immediately had a good guess at exactly what the problem was. Due to his confidence I schedule the time and brought my Chevy Tahoe down to him.He took a quick listen, and told me he thought he knew exactly where the problem was. Right then and there he had my Tahoe up on the racks and he fixed the problem in less than 20 minutes while I stood there and watched.What I'd really appreciate it about Jon is that he actually showed me exactly what the problem was. He took me under the rack and SHOWED ME what was going on.He fixed it quickly and I felt like I was chopping up conversation with a good buddy.When I asked him how much I owed him for the fix, I was floored at how fair his price was.The guys down at Broadway Muffler are honest and very transparent.I asked him if all he did was Muffler's since that is obviously the name of his shop...He told me that he basically specializes in anything underneath the car. Mufflers, catalytic converters, custom exhaust systems, brakes, welding and obviously he's proficient at pinpointing persistent unknown random rattling noises that other shops were baffled by...If you have anything wrong with your car I strongly recommend taking it down to Broadway Mufflers in Walnut Creek first before you go anywhere else.

Extremely unsatisfied with their job.We took the car and left it with John (the owner probably ) three months ago. We have installed it halfway but the muffler was kind of longer by an inch for my car so we asked him to cut the pipe and weld the muffler to the mid-pipe. He called us latter saying there is nothing wrong with the exhaust and he needs to redo everything and it will fit. in two days the car was ready, but he just welded the mid-pipe to where it connects to the muffler and charged us $300. The car looks horrible the exhaust is sticking out so much and $300 is completely unfair for just a cut and weld. (there are tons of YouTubers out there paying $70 for this kind of job. So, it's your choice to take your car there or not, but I would not recommend it! (I can upload pics based on the request)

I mean they fixed my car so they did their job. Location is not prime as it's very difficult to get out of parking lot on a busy main street. Dude working there was very nice, though I'd prefer going somewhere that doesn't hang their political preferences up in the workplace for everyone to see. Glad they installed a metal plate so my catalytic converter doesn't get stolen again.

Great shop. I've had a few services done here and the owner has always been honest.- Previa 2nd cat replaced (x2)- 50 state legal catalytic converter in my Infiniti M30Again, we talk about honest, let me tell you. I thought I had gotten an exhaust leak. I was expecting a down pipe work or exhaust work as I was having a loud sound. I popped my hood and he immediately saw that my EGR pipe came undone. He pointed it out to me and that was that.Good service and better the more you become a customer with this shop.Prices are fair and maybe better.Very honest and trustworthy!

I've come here for two mufflers. Magnaflows, both times by owner's suggestion. Sounded amazing. Too bad they're closed today, because I want them to do the exhaust on my new car. They do work very hard though all week ( father + son? I'm not sure.. )Very nice, fast, honest.That is all.

I've never been treaded so well, fair and honestly as I was at Broadway Muffler, they could have just fixed what I needed but instead told that before I made the investment I needed to find out why the oil was leaking. Such honesty deserves to be rewarded, that is why I give them more than a 5 star rating!

I needed a new catalytic converter for my 25 year old car. John gave me an instant quote and stuck to it when it turned out that I needed a more expensive replacement part. He was done when he said he would. What more can you ask for?

Easily one of the best automotive service providers in the area. I started taking my vehicles there in 1980. Same honest, reliable and reasonable guys there the whole time. You won't be disappointed.
