I have used this service for the past several years for three different vehicles. The owner is always friendly, well-organized, and prompt. He is honest and very reasonable as far as the price. While there are other smog certifiers closer to us than him, I am happy to drive some distance for his excellent service and reasonable prices.

The sService was excellent. His quote was accurate for my sports car. The smog test took 10 to 15 minutes. I highly recommend All Star. I rarely write reviews.

Great experience here. Moved through the queue of cars quickly, and was very pleasant to interact with. The team member even asked the couple behind me if the DMV was requiring a smog given how new the car was. He was more concerned with doing what was best for the customer than nailing down one more service. That mindset is something I value in a business, and would make me more inclined to use them.

I needed a smog and have a place I ve always gone in San Ramon. I told my daughter I was going and she said, No Mom, you have to go to my guy in Walnut Creek at All Star Smog Testing! He s the best! So I did and he was! I had a great experience in absolutely every way, from beginning to end! I went on their website before going and you can even make an appointment. I didn t, but was able to be taken for my smog right away! Nicest man, very professional, efficient, and knowledgeable! I was so impressed I told our son and husband to go there as well! It was even a better cost than I have always paid! That s 4 people and we all had a wonderful experience! Thank you All Star Smog Testing, I will pass the word!

The smog test for my car was done without appointment. It took about 10 minutes, and got $20 discount as a previous customer. The technician is very profesional and polite. I recommend All Star Smog Testing of Walnut Creek to anyone who needs smog test.

I called last minute because the dmv told me I needed a smog check in order to get my registration renewed. On the same day, I went here and they were able to do a smog check in 10 minutes! I did this by myself without my husband and they were so helpful and welcoming. They also gave me a discount! Great service.

Shervin was fantastic. I came in 30 min before closing and he helped me get in and out in 10 min. Will definitely be coming back and will recommend him to all my friends and family

I have used this smog test station for several years and had another great experience today. I had an appointment for 1:00PM and showed up around 5 minutes early. I checked in on their computer, which had all of my information, and was out of there by 1:10 with a successful test result.

I called for availability and was told to come right in, no waiting. It's the 3rd time I've been there and each time service was friendly, honest (up front, no haggling, no "extra" charges over quote) and quick. I was in and out in 15 minutes. Smooth effortless process. Quick check-in at a terminal. The system found me immediately via phone number. One customer ahead of me was a small delay, then the test performed quickly by the tech. As a returning customer (for years) I was extended a $30 discount making the price identical to past years. Have the test performed quickly with friendly tech's and reasonable costs.Service: Smog certification

the other of this shop was extremely helpful and patient with me as my car was having trouble passing smog after the battery had gone flat. it took four tries before my car would pass, and I want charged for most of them.I can't recommend enough.Service: Smog certification

All Star Smog Testing, 1387 S. California Blvd., Walnut Creek, CA - Find a different smog check station, I called first to make sure that they could smog check my 1990 BMW and was told no problem make an appointment and bring the car in . I went online and the earliest appointment I could get was for a week out. I made my reservation, however, when I got to their shop ( S. California, Walnut Creek) I was told that the machine for older cars was down (couldn t be calibrated seems like a common excuse for station not wanting to do older cars) and in any event they wouldn t do a smog check for car older than 1995. I said I spoke to a person at their shop before making the appointment and they assured me they could do the check. The technician at the shop said I must have called somewhere else I didn t and the person I initially spoke to indicated that he was helping out at this location because they were busy.I received numerous text messages in the week between the time of my call and the actual appointment date reminding me of my appointment and emphasizing their no show fee of $20. Would it be too much to ask for a text letting me know that their older vehicle machine couldn t be calibrated or that they make a mistake saying they could do a 1990 vehicle?Go somewhere else!

I had tried to make an appointment on a Saturday a few days before for 8am and when I showed up there was no attendant there. I had to wait around for about an hour for one to show up and by that time I had gone around the corner to grab a coffee. When I returned the attendant told me that he didn't schedule appointments for Saturdays or Sundays which was frustrating because I had confirmed an appointment for Saturday just a few days before like I mentioned. He had also taken in a customer before I returned so I had to wait even longer. He did try and move quickly which I appreciated but the whole appointment thing was quite confusing and quite frustrating along with being there for about an hour and a half in total.
