I love this place. The staff is always amazing and friendly. They take very little time to change your car s oil and also recommend other maintenance concerns for your car when needed. Never do I feel any pressure or feel taken advantage of while being there.

Overfilled my Mercedes GLC 300 which damages the engine. The assistant manager Jacob upon looking records said on drain they noticed overfilled the last time with 8 qts instead of 7.43 so that means that on the previous oil change they also overfilled. So that;s twice and didn't know until recently checked dip oil stick when hot, looked way overfilled and checked again when cold and it is still overfilled. Called the store and I will have them correct the issue. Not a good thing at all so be careful.

I had a fantastic experience today with this business team They helped get a stripped drain plug out and replace it with one I brought, in addition to changing my oil FAST!I'll definitely be returning for more services soon for both vehicles. It's conveniently by Costco too!Thanks for the amazing support!

On Dec 10, 2021 we went to have our oil changed. We left went to shopping for a while and when we drove out of the stall we noticed a large puddle of oil never had we had an issue with oil leaks on that vehicle before thinking it may have been there before we went home. While we were home we noticed a puddle of oil underneath the car so my wife went and took the vehicle back to let them know it was leaking it was close to closing. They checked and assured me it was them that we had a transmission oil leak not from them changing the oil. Up to this point I personally did the oil changes, I was a mechanics for a few years but had severe back problems so I couldn t do it this time. Made an appointment at the dealership but my back started feeling better and decided to check it and it was definitely them they did not tighten the oil filter case correctly and that is what was leaking see attached pics. I fixed it and no more leaking.

I called before going down to have my transmission fluid changed so I wouldn't waste my time. Got down there, waited, only to be told that they wouldn't work on my car. This location is full of kids who think they're mechanics.

This was my 1st time bringing my '13 Impala to get an oil change here. What a great experience! There was no line and William instructed me to pull my car into Bay 2. They checked my head & tail lights, high beams, turn signals and brake lights before they began the oil service. Their sign says 15 minute oil change, but I think it took them just a little more than 10 minutes. Raul was kind enough to inform me of other services I should get done to keep my Impala running top notch, with no pressure to have it done today. He showed me my cabin air filter which was REALLY bad and luckily they had 1 replacement filter on hand, so I had them replace that as well. The experience alone will make me come back to get my automatic transmission and radiator services. Shout out to William and Raul, along with the rest of the Valvoline Team for this great experience! I also thought their prices were reasonable. Thanks guys!!! I'll be back!!!

A great facility. The people here were fast, friendly and professional. it's a drive through service, but since I requested a tire change and filter change, it would take about 20 minutes. I was able to grab some lunch and by the time I got back, my car was good to go. great job everybody. I really appretiate the great service. One thing I really liked is they treated me with respect and patience. thank you.

1.4.2023. Came to get my oil change they didn't have the oil filter but ot their fault. Dispite that all the people there were very friendly and helpful. I will be back

In for an oil change on my daughter's vehicle. Two days after the service, noticed oil leaking on my driveway and the entire underside of the car covered with oil from a drain plug leak. Had my daughter take the car back. I called to talk to the manager while the car was there and was told that the leak was caused by negligence of one of his technicians and that this is a part of vehicle service at Valvoline. I disagreed and not sure if I was hung up on or the call was dropped, but ended up driving to the store and speaking with the manager. He was argumentative, interrupting me and even puffed his chest out and stepped into my personal space as if he wanted to fight. I suggested he back up or that we may have problems, he said oh really and then backed up. I was then allowed to express my concerns uninterrupted. He then apologized and refunded the cost of the service. He said he cleaned the underside of the car, but ignored my request that they clean my driveway, which was stained due to their techs negligence. I then called corporate, they were very attentive and following exceptional customer service practices. I received a very timely call back from an area manager and to my disappointment immediately blamed me and said that I had raised my voice in my conversation with his store manager, but he didn't know what I said, because his manager and I were speaking Spanish. This is impossible because I don't speak Spanish. I expressed this to the area manager and also that he had clearly not reviewed the correct tape when investigating the incident. He said he would review the tape again and get back to me, which has not happened after 3 days. In the interim and to my surprise he did offer to clean my driveway, which I accepted. He said his vendor would be contacting me to arrange a time to clean my driveway, which has also not happened after 3 days. I have mixed feelings regarding the customer service, experience and training of management staff by Valvoline. If they follow up and make good on what they said they would do, they will retain my business. If I don't hear back from them within a week's time, beyond an adequate amount of time for conflict resolutions of this nature, they will loose my business and I would write an entirely different review. I think the company as a whole is probably legit, but I recommend staying away from the East Chula Vista store due to the manager. I surely won't be sending my teenage daughter back to this store for fear of retaliation, potentially of a physical nature by an inexperienced and unprofessional store manager.

After waiting for 40 minutes they didn't have my filter. They sent me down the street where l waited an additional 15 min. They wouldn't honor an additional discount for the trouble.

Fast service , the employees were very friendly and helpful. Very professional and did a good job. With the coupons they are always mailing out it was also affordable. A team of people descend on your vehicle and in about ten minutes you are done . Overall awesome .

Great place got my oil change and tires rotated. Rahul explain all that was going on with the car. Didn t even have to get out the car. There was a girl and guy changing the tires very quick fast service. Will definitely go again. Thank you

Valvoline may not be the least expensive as far as oil changes go, but they are the most efficient. I rarely spend more than 20 minutes unless I go with an add on. They do all the necessary safety checks and often send a coupon to your email for added savings. Great place for a quick oil change.

They had no idea what they were doing they had 4 people at once trying to figure out where my stick shift car had a transmission stick. I thought they were supposed to specialize in transmission changes and oil changes. Things like that make me nervous because I know that no stick shift car has a transmission stick. I don't work on different cars nor do I say I know how to change transmission fluid on people's cars I know about stick shift cars not having that dip stick for the transmission. How do they not know ? They also have the worst people working there they don't have any costomer service there. If I could rate this a 0 I would. Worst experience I've had at an oil change place

Reading all the other reviews about them charging 80 or more for an oil change is absolutely true. I called and they said 39.99 got there and spent 80.00 and that was with a 12.00 coupon. They said my 2014 buick regal requires 1.5 quarts more so they charge 14.00 a quart more. And there was a Groupon for 33.00 but they won't let you purchase it there like other places will. You will have to purchase it 24hrs in advance for this place to honor it. So says the fine print. And I had just had my tires rotated by discount tire but the girl told me that I needed to have another rotation so that would be 25.0No thank you Scamoline.. How do you give a place 0 stars on here

Love the professionalism. Wish the prices were $20 lower. But perhaps I m pining for years of my youth. Well, anyway, I always feel good after I leave the guys and gals here at Valvoline. Great customer service!

Hard to give my opinion. Last time I went they dropped an engine cover clip down in the engine exterior, i seen it fall and watched them "look" for it, and when I asked them they denied. After I got home I opened thr hood and noticed the did indeed drop and lose a clip. I guess besides being irresponsible and liars. Its an ok place to get oil change. Try the one off of H street by Costco.

Wow this place is great, drive through oil change dont even have to get out. They checked everything and very transparent with what was replaced and what needed to be replaced. Also no wait was great

They said I had an engine oil leak and a coolant leak. Took it into Firestone.. I didn t have one at all. They were trying to get me to go to the shell gas station to get it fixed when there wasn t a problem to begin with. I ll never use them againService: Oil changeService: Oil change

We have our suv changed its oil first week of January 2022, then last Friday Feb.25 the engine stalled stalled while waiting for the red-light, they advised us to have the oil again change so my teen ager brought it to have it changed but the problem persist so we brought to a mechanic..he changed the cam sensor and showed us it is very dirty indicating the oil was not really changed maybe even the first time..it is our son who use it for school but since mostly on line he does not drive it that much.Service: Oil change
