I bought a used 2019 Ford Fiesta ST from this dealership. A few things I liked: ���The salesperson let me drive the car without any restrictions, did not sit in the car, did not try to upsell the vehicle. Just let me go around at a normal pace and allow me to feel the vehicle. ���Negotiation was painless and we got a price that worked quickly. � �The check-out process took some time, but that is what I am told is to be expected (I've never bought a car from a dealership before) � �The detailing of the car could be better, but after all it's a used car, and they filled up the gas, which is a great way to start the ownership.Five stars, overall. Really enjoyed my experience.

Toyota of Chula Vista provided a wonderful experience for us! We were pleasantly greeted by Sandro who took superb care of us while we were there, and working with him as well as his manager Cameron was an excellent experience, smooth process, and we left thrilled. Gary also was very helpful when we needed to come back and pick up something. Grateful for the team at Toyota of Chula Vista and the service they all provided!

I had a great experience this morning for my routine maintenance. There was a long line for service before the dealership was even open this morning. Despite this morning rush, my service advisor, Alec, helped make the process super smooth and simple. He was personable and great with communicating. When my car was ready for pickup, he gave me a call and talked me through the work completed and the inspection report and he was not pushy with upselling services. When I came to pick up my car, he was helping another customer resolve an issue and he handled it professionally and quickly. I was impressed with Alec!

Scheduled for my maintenance over the phone and that was such a fast and quick call, had plenty of availability and worked with my schedule.I arrive to this location, designated lanes to go for maintenance. I get checked in, super sweet and welcoming. I did mention this was my first time at this location guided me through it all.My advisor came out, Miriam. She was so welcoming and helpful with my check in, I had no doubts my car was in good hands.My fault, I pushed my maintenance out (haven't we all) and she told me I was due for more than just an oil change. However she completely respected my decision on just completing an oil change for todays visit due to financial reasons. That to me is Where I was won over by this location.As we all know, when we go to the dealership for maintenance it may be more expensive but personally in the past, I used to go to Toyota in mission gorge- since management changed I used to get pressured and made feel so stupid to get services done. Which is why I would never go there again.Here, Toyota Chula Vista: respectful, kind, efficient.That's what l as a customer looks for.Honestly the vibe at the service department for a Saturday morning was great, everyone is in a good mood, so helpful- you can see the good teamwork + communication.I look forward to coming here for future services.Thank you Miriam for being so great.

Jonas Diaz helped us throughout our whole experience there. He was able to answer all questions we had about the vehicle. I was able to test drive the car with no problem. Before I left with my recent purchase, he helped me set up the apps I could use for the car. Overall, we had a wonderful experience!

My service advisor, Olaf, was extremely professional and welcoming. He made me feel like a valued customer and took the time to listen to my needs and concerns regarding my vehicle. In the past, I've had experiences with other service advisors where I felt like I was just another number or a child being scolded because I didn't opt for certain services on my car.I went in for an oil change and battery check, and to my delight, everything was completed in under two hours. This was a significant improvement from my last visit, where I only had an oil change, and it took four hours to complete, way past the promised time. The delay was due to how busy it was, and my previous service advisor neglected to update me on my car's status.Olaf's service was a night and day difference, and I'm grateful that he was there to be my service advisor. I was considering taking my vehicle to another Toyota dealership for service, but Olaf's excellent service has changed my mind. I hope he's available the next time I bring my car in for service.

Decided it was time to upgrade my vehicle and after months of research I chose Toyota of Chula Vista because they were the most responsive and offered the best prices. Extremely happy with my choice. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They did not rush me and took time to explain everything to me. The process of buying was flawless and I'm very happy with my new purchase. Highly recommend this dealership to all.

It is a known truth that usually, the purchase of a vehicle from a dealer is wrought with its fair share of associated clich�s... Well, I'm refreshingly pleased to be able to share that my experience at Toyota of Chula Vista, specifically with my friend Jonas, was a definite exception to this rule.Having previously been in vehicle sales myself, and all expected clich�s aside, I suppose I was assuming that some manifestation of the typical things you need to just "deal" with (pressure, forced upselling, tacking on of numerous/unneeded items, bait and switch, unaccountability of errors, etc.) when purchasing a vehicle would be par for the course, yet this never came to pass...My wife and I originally came to the dealership a number of months ago (actually in May of 2023)--yes that is a while, but not because we were "kicking tires." Truthfully, it turned out in the end, we ended up going with a completely different vehicle than what we were seeking in the early stages of this process. Originally, we'd set our sights on the 2024 Toyota Tacoma Hybrid--the intention of the vehicle was going to be primarily for in-city, work commute use, so a hybrid powertrain was a must. We also had a little one on the way, due before the end of the year, so we also definitely wanted the full 4-door crew cab, while still retaining the versatility of an open truck bed.However, this was not meant to be: the release of the 2024 Tacoma models ended up being plagued with delays and problems apparently stemming from manufacturing-end issues--nothing to do with the dealership... Even as of the writing of this review (early February 2024), the Tacomas have yet to show up at dealerships, which for a new model-year vehicle is exceedingly bizarre (next year's models typically begin showing up sometimes as early as September of the current year).So after waiting for a couple of months to see if there was going to be any hope of getting into a Tacoma, we threw in the towel and began seeking a new vehicle to call our own. It was at this point that we met our salesman, Jonas.On our own, we researched the current lineup of available vehicles from Toyota, and landed on one that ended up looking like an even better fit for us, the Grand Highlander, and lo and behold, they offered a hybrid model as well! Two catches: first, the hybrid was only offered with the Platinum package (no options available to pick from on the site because it literally has EVERYTHING! -- this is not a complaint ), and secondly, 2024 was literally the first year this vehicle was going to be made!So again, we were dealing with the reality of not having any stock to choose from, but at least there was actual movement on the back end with this vehicle. This is where Jonas's professionalism really shone through. He kept us informed throughout every step of the process, he checked with us, then checked again, and then he checked again ( ) to make absolutely sure that we got the exact vehicle with the exact features we were asking for, and never pressured us for any specific, at times more expensive, feature over any other.We ended up receiving the SUV EXACTLY as ordered, and here's where a few hiccups manifested themselves, albeit none of which had anything to do with Jonas: we were mis-quoted the pricing of one of the maintenance service contracts and an auto insurance coverage issue came up. Toyota of Chula Vista honored BOTH the mistakenly quoted original/lower price of the maintenance contract, and ate the charge of their dealer-offered insurance, all the while lowering the pricing of many of the add-ons we'd chosen to keep us as close as possible to our monthly payment goal. WOW!I was extremely impressed with this! Never once did they try to defer the blame or fault of the errors that were made... They simply admitted them and did the right thing! For a vehicle dealer of any type to do anything remotely close to this speaks volumes!And Jonas was stellar throughout the entire process, ensuring things went as smoothly as possible! FANTASTIC experience!

I drove from Orange County that morning and was overwhelmed with the drive and I was able to get my car service right away. This visit was much better than our last few visits. It has been a while since we have had our car serviced here because of pricing and customer service issues in the past.The service itself was very kind and prompt this time, which was great to see. However, the quoted price for our oil change was incredibly high. $95, plus tax, for an oil change? Good lord!Luckly the incredibly nice service person with all fun pink things on her desk (Celia) was able to accommodate after we discussed some additional things, and all worked out in the end.Thanks, Toyota of Chula Vista. It's good to see that you have great people on your staff these days.

I ve been going to Toyota Chula Vista for all my car maintenance needs and have received excellent customer service. Recently my drivers side mirror needed to be fixed. My regular Toyota Chula Vista service agent, Sergio, and his team were able to help me and fix my mirror in a timely manner to help me get back on the road for my job. Sergio updated me throughout the day on the progress of my car and coordinated with my insurance for a smooth process. I highly recommend servicing your car and working with Toyota Chula Vista. Thank you so much to Sergio and the Toyota Chula Vista team for all your hard work and dedication! Excellent team work!

I ve been getting my car serviced here ever since I got my car here back in 2016. I never found any problems doing vehicle maintenance appointments with this Toyota location and it s very easy to schedule and communicate with the staff. Shout out to my recent service advisor, Luis L. for helping me out! He made my vehicle details very clear and answered my questions thoroughly. I recommend doing vehicle service here.

I made an appointment for a 9 am basic maintenance service and was quoted a three hour wait time with a 12 PM pick up. I was given amazing customer service from Sergio Espinoza which I appreciate all his help. On the other hand I was highly disappointed with the maintenance team part as I was called at 12 pm which I was expected to pick up my Rav 4 and was told they were running behind time. I didn t get my car until after 1:30which resulted in me being late for work. I will be going to Norma reeves for my maintenance no on. Never go to this location for maintenance if you have any important appointments or have work lined up. As you will be late!!

On January 19 appointment 10 AM please pass on bravo for outstanding customer service from Service attendant Carlos on Main St., Chula Vista, CA. my car 5000 miles check up was done in a timely matter. I waited in the customers lobby. I don t know maintenance ladies name, but she did a good job cleaning with a smile on her face. Continue given outstanding customer service.

The gentleman I spoke with when I took my truck in for a service was very kind, very efficient and professional. he told me my truck would be done in one and a half hours even though the waiting period was three hours and as he promised my truck was done in an hour and a half I had a very positive and good experience at Toyota Chula Vista because of this guy keep up the good work and look forward to seeing and doing with you again

I ve had nothing but great experiences at Toyota Chula Vista Service! Toyota makes a great vehicle, but whenever my Tacoma or Corolla need service I ask for Luis L. He s my go to Service Advisor. He is very helpful and explains everything that my vehicle may need. He ll even work with you on finding a good solution to what ever issue your car may be having. Try Toyota CV service and ask for Luis L. You ll be glad you did!

We have a Toyota TRD that we purchased with Toyota Chula Vista and everything has been wonderful since. Today I came in for an oil change and some other routine work and was helped my Olaf Trejo. I want to give him above 5 star rating. He was on time, informative, and very respectful and helpful during my visit. He told me what I needed what was recommended and how much it would cost me. I had a couple other questions and he was so helpful answering with a smile. 1000% rating for Olaf.

Went in for my free 1st year maintenance at 5200 miles. The service writer was very friendly. However he didn't check my 6 month service and didn't realize that I needed a first oil change. I had to ask him about it. The oil wasn't changed at 6 months because the car only had 2500 miles on it. Otherwise they would have only rotated my tires and did the checks. I wouldn't have had a oil change at the one year mark if I hadn't noticed. After I received the car back, I found greasy fingerprints on the hood and fender. After completion, it was parked under a tree and got tree sap on it. So in summary, they are very friendly but fall short on attention to details.

Just bought a used car here and the starter went out after 6 days. I had it towed in and they graciously agreed to cover 50%. Go to pick it up and the bill is $664 and I pay $540. Luis repeatedly says the actual price is $1080. The paperwork just says $664. And offers to change the paperwork to say $1080. Never could get a straight answer on the actual price. They re probably still laughing but buyer beware I guess .

It s always nerve wrecking when walking into a dealership, but they made me feel comfortable, never rushed me and worked quickly once I started to push the issue. Honestly I had a bad previous experience getting my car serviced here and was hesitant to schedule another appointment but I live near this location so I called to schedule. I spoke to Elsie and explained what had happened previously and she heard me, apologized and asked that I give them another chance. So I did, I scheduled it with her. She handled the whole appointment perfectly. She communicated very well, keeping me updated with timelines and expected costs. This appointment highly exceeded expectations. She did an excellent job and really she is the reason I ll return to this location. They really should have her training other service reps how to handle customers and appointments. I felt like a valued customer at the end of my appointment.

I took my RAV 4 in for service today and my Service Agent Else was a DREAM to work with!! I had scheduled my appt with her. When I arrive and gave my name, she had already let them know I was coming. She has such a wonderful repour with her customers. I was in Customer Service over 20 years for a health insurance and I understand EXCELLENT service when I receive it!!Thanks again!!

I worked with Frank Ortiz in purchasing my 2024 Toyota Camry SE Hybrid in the color Calvary Blue! From the moment I walked in, he was able to assist me with any questions I had.I was able to take the car for a test drive and instantly knew I had to have it! Once that test drive was finished, I started to do what I had to do to take her off the lot. Going in, I did not think that I would be driving my car off the lot, but thanks to Frank, I was able to do just that. This process was very simple and as quick as it could be!I 100/10 recommend coming by Toyota Chula Vista and asking for Frank Ortiz! He provided one of the best services I have had going into a dealership.

I would ve given the dealership a 5 star rating if it weren t for the gentleman that handled our financial piece of the process. After denying the extended warranty, alarm system, and maintenance service plan with Jose (who was very helpful and courteous throughout the process), I was asked again by the gentleman in the financial department. I declined all the extra services again just to be pressured over and over again to change my mind when I had already expressed that I wasn t interested. Since I had already been at the dealership for 3 hours at that point and felt like I wasn t going to be allowed to walk out without saying yes, I agreed and signed the paperwork. Had to go back to the dealership the next day to cancel the unwanted service agreement, which meant more time spent waiting at the dealership. I guess that the pestering comes from the financial department now instead of the salesman.

Toyota Chula Vista made it a relatively streamlined process in buying a new vehicle.I had been in contact Jesus Martinez via text/email in regards to a one of the vehicles on the lot I was interested in, and made me an appointment to test drive the vehicle the next day. Unfortunately that vehicle was sold by the time I arrived the next day, but I was set up with sales consultant Francisco Valenzuela who showed me other very similar vehicles on the lot. Working with Francisco was a great experience. He was honest and upfront from the get go, which I appreciate and made the car buying process smooth. I let him know about my exact wants in a new vehicle, which was currently not on the lot, and he made sure to call me as soon as one arrived! Francisco never placed any pressure on me to make a sale and the negotiation process went smoothly and I came home that day happy with my new vehicle!My only gripe was when going through finance, things felt rushed, less friendly, and the finance manager second guessed mine and my wife's decision to forgo optional warranties while berating the sales staff for not doing their job properly. She also gave us the very bare minimum time to return with a check from our preferred lender/bank for our option contract. however luckily we were able to return with a check that same day.

I was able to schedule a routine maintenance appointment on the phone and be serviced the next day! Carlos was my service advisor and very easy to talk to, he had me in and out in under 1.5 hours. The waiting area was clean and comfortable to sit in.Thank you Chula Vista Toyota!

AWESOME Service from Cesar! It was such an easy process - made an appnt., rolled up in the line and was greeted right away, waited a short amount of time and was escorted to Cesar who took care of me the entire day with updates and even got me a much needed car wash!!! Everyone inside was great too - always a smile and a hello! and the coffee is great too! Thanks so much! 5 stars FOR SURE!

Customer service at Toyota Chula Vista is Second to none. Juan Rivera (Sales Consultant) was courteous, patient, transparent and informative. Also, the finance manager was accommodating, truthful and fair. However, the internet manager was kind of deceptive. We were there for a particular car we saw on the website and he agreed on our request to test drive that vehicle at the Main branch vice the sister branch. Instead when we arrived, the switch & bait tactic was applied. Nonetheless, our buying experience was smooth, non-confrontational and customer centered. Thanks to Juan & the Finance manager.

I own two older cars 02 & 06. So they are experience all the problems that come with old age. I use the same Service Advisor every time so as a result the same mechanics. They know our cars intimately and I don't get the upsell to increase the labor hours. We have had some major repairs done and these cars run fabulous. The service department is the only reason I keep coming back.
