This is place is amazing I got there and no more than 45 minutes I was out. Service was amazing and great. Someone was there before me and like I said in and out about 45 minutes. This is my place to go too.

One of the only places open on a Sunday. I was able to get my car smogged quickly while I waited and they were also checking two other cars in just the 15 minutes I was there. Very efficient and inexpensive, I highly recommend.

Daniel was our technician. He took the time to and helped us get a 2010 Toyota Prius to pass .on a Sunday!!! Great service!!

I have been coming here a few years now. Very nice friendly people. Old owner retired and I believe his nephew took over. It was quick, to the point and they were very helpful. My van did not pass it needed a hose replacement and he told me exactly what I needed and retested. I passed with flying colors . Great, fast, to the point service, while still being nice and helpful.

When I went to get my smog checked the man who delt with me seemed rude when I said hello and asked about his day then proceeded to have a stink attitude and said he has too many people then walked off. Someone else had to try to cover for his attitude so I took my business elsewhere.

I am very pleased with the service I received at the Star Smog check station on Broadway in Chula Vista. I did not have an appointment; however, I was in and out in 20 minutes. I came here yesterday after going to 4 other different spots in the area. Those other spots where either rude, didn t want to do it because it was too late (almost 2 hours before closing) or they just didn t do my car. The dude that helped me out (young guy) was super cool and professional, he told me it would only take 30 min so he could definitely do it. My car passed thankfully. Even if it hadn t I would be glad to give them 5 stars all day long! Super cool people! Sometimes good customer service goes a super long way! I went here this morning and it was great! Raul was very friendly and had me in and out in 10 minutes. It's definitely worth going here for your smog check, especially if you need to go to a STAR station. It's also pretty convenient to get to from the 5.

My dad just passed away a week ago and has always helped me get my car smoged. This was the first time doing it by myself without my dad. The worker on Sunday 11/6/2022 was so kind and helpful to me. He was fast and so friendly and I felt like without telling him my story that he was looking out for me like my dad would have. Buyer beware. I brought my car here last week and got smog tested. Was having no issues with my car prior to the smog and afterwards, noticed the traction, check engine, and vehicle stability control lights were on. Tried taking my car back into the shop assuming the owner would understand and/or it would be a quick fix (with some indicator lights, resetting them is incredibly easy). The owner was combative and pretended as if he couldn't see what the issue was and when pressed. I'm guessing he accidentally triggered these when performing the smog test or possible damaged some of the car's electronics.Now, I'm stuck paying for the car having the issues diagnosed and/or fixed... I'm already out $150 for a diagnostic. There are numerous smog stations in San Diego so my advice is to avoid this one. Despite the owner's claim that he had nothing to do with my car's new issue, I've never had a problem with the electronics in this car and it seemingly happened immediately after what should have been a routine smog check here. I'm writing this review in hopes that others will take my advice and not risk a similar situation for themselves.Service: Smog certification

I came here to smog my car, and then my aunts car (registration was due for them both at the same time). Daniel was professional, prompt, very knowledgeable and I don't see how I could have had a better experience. This will definitely become my regular smog place going forward. Super friendly staff, both on the phone and in person! Made an appointment, stopped by and was in and out in roughly 15 minutes after my appointment time. The only concern for me was parking due to sharing an area with several businesses. Highly recommended for anyone looking to get their smog check.

GREAT SERVICE! Fantastic support. My car failed test initially and had to return a few times more for a recheck. Everyone was supportive and patient with my situation. They walked me through every step of the way. I highly recommend them AND HAVE. I will definitely be back in 2 yrs when it's time to resmog.

Kevin was super nice. He explained the steps to take further after the inspection, the service for my car was complete in less than 10 minutes, and he even applied a discount to my total. I totally recommend this station.
