This shop is the most reliable, most honest, most efficient shop I have ever used!!! I discovered this shop by chance about 12 years ago and I have taken all my cars there ever since. From routine maintenance to major fixes, they always pull through! They don't over charge you either!As an example years ago I took my 3 year old Mazda to the dealer (I purchased the car from the dealer brand new). I think it was for tire rotation and oil change because I had a free service on the books. They asked if I wanted an all point inspection and I said sure why not. They gave me a whole list of things that had to be fixed. I took that list to Pacific and he ran his own tests. Basically told me the majority of the work didn't need to be done, they just wanted my money.Lastly, I am 100% supporter of small business, so do yourself a favor and take your car to this shop! HONEST 100%!!!!

Such an amazing experience as always! I got my break pads and roaters changed and it came at such a great price with excellent service! For any car needs I can always count on Pacific Star Auto!

The folks at Pacific Star Auto are simply the best. I was in a tough spot as my regular mechanic started to make a repair and could not finish. I called Pacific Star, they got me in right away, they totally fixed my problem, and saved me several hundred dollars. I will not make the mistake of taking any of my cars to another mechanic or body shop. Could not be more pleased with the work and professionalism of Pacific Star Auto!

Amazing mechanic work from Mr. Guillermo ! He was honest, helped me figure out exactly what repair work I needed, processed my rental, and got my car working pristine. At the end he even offered up an active duty discount which helped so much! 100% would return for any future repair! Thank you!

Staff was professional and transparent. A detailed explanation of what needed to be done was provided.They did an excellent job and returned my vehicle on time as promised. I highly recommend this body shop.

Been taking my vehicles here for a while now..Guierremo, Lupita, & the rest of the other members have always been very attentive and helpful. They re the most honest people out there that will get your vehicle up and running at a good fair price! I can always count on coming back for any of my vehicles in the future.

Pacific Auto gave me an initial quote, then. Ontactede when further work was required and asked if I wanted it done. The quoted price wa what I expected and paid. The work was done speedily and efficiently.

Wiring this for a friend: My E530 Lexus 2004 was in a bad accident. A friend directed me to Pacific Car in Chula Vista. Now my car looks beyond immaculate and brand new. Guillermo and staff came to my rescue. I was impressed with professionalism, courtesy, and kindness. 5 star service. I live in Oceanside and would drive for miles, that is how happy I am. These guys are the best in San Diego. I ve been to a handful of auto shops while living here and have yet to seen another business as efficient, affordable and personable as Pacific Star Auto. Highly recommend!!

The shop came recommended and I contacted them. Guillermo responded immediately. We exchanged some texts and pics and got an estimate the following day. I took the car in for a minor accident repair and paint and was given back earlier than expected. Good service (Guillermo and Lupe). Good work (Daniel). Good people (all). Guillermo and his team always see to it that I get the best Service for money.Often times the shop is busy---- but that's a good thing!! It shows customers are coming back for repairs and/or maintenance.

Everything started off well they were very kind and helpful. We took our BMW they told us what was wrong with it and they changed the parts. Very awesome and then we take the care back home. The Whippers no longer work and there is a weird sound coming from the engine. So we ended up taking our business elsewhere be careful where you take your vehicle.

Unprofessional.Honestly I feel like the unhinged response just proves my point. Zero conflict resolution or customer service skills. I left one review here and one on yelp, not some crazy amount. Not sure what the Venmo thing is about. I never asked for money or anything of the sort just common decency. I was patient, but patience has a limit. There are plenty of other family owned auto shops in the area that don t treat customers like this. My issue was easily taken care of the same day at another shop. Just writing this to let other people know who don t feel like wasting their time or being disrespected.

All I can say is, "Praise God"!! Absolutely AMAZING and can't thank you enough for always getting my car back on the road. It runs great, sounds great and I am very grateful to you and your mechanics. I have brought my vehicles to Pacific Star Auto for years and they always repair my vehicle and get me back on the road. Professional, excellent service, great pricing, honest, reliable. Over the years, I have been to other mechanic shops, but Pacific Star Auto out shines them all and I can trust them. Pacific auto was listed on my Max Care warranty for my Mercedes Benz. I called 2 other places who were booked 2 weeks out. I called them around 5pm and I was able to drop my car off next morning. Giyermo explained what was wrong and walked me through the steps and asked if there was any other issues he would like for them to work on. I love this place and I will be bringing my other vehicles for services. Excellent job guys

Got hit by a semi and went in to get an estimate for repairs. Guillermo was very helpful by getting me an estimate for the insurance company and guiding me through the process. My car ended up being a total loss but if I m ever in need of another repair shop I ll be heading back Pacific star for sure. Would recommend.

I came here to get paint damage fixed from a minor collision. The owner was awesome. They even fixed up other minor scratches with the paint used for the original issue at no cost.Overall, I am very satisfied with the results. Would recommend to anyone in need of a mechanic.

I can not begin to express how incredible this shop is! They are extremely informative, professional, honest and kind. I can't say I've ever had a good experience with any type of car repair service until doing business with Pacific Star Auto. They couldn't have made getting the repairs done any easier than they did. They have all my future business without a doubt.

I took my car to this shop after I noticed I had a leak. Unfortunately, I ended paying over $600 and my car is still leaking. I also had to take my car back to the shop because it was starting to have a worse issue after they worked on it. My car started to die when I was idle for a while and I had to take it back to them.When I first went back to Pacific Star Auto, the owner tested my battery and told me to go to Walmart to buy/change my battery because it was dying. I ended up going to AutoZone to make sure and they said my battery was fine. Even when I went back to Pacific Star Auto, they tested my battery again and said it was actually fine. It kinda felt like the mechanic wanted to turn me away because I had to repeatedly go back to their shop. The owner even told me that he would charge me $50 each time I visited as a diagnostic fee although I was just concerned that my car started to have a worse issue than when I first dropped it off.Luckily they checked what they did and made additional repairs for free. After leaving it for another day, I was able to get back on the road. However, I wouldn t feel right recommending this place to my friends or family. I definitely won t come back here.Moreover, they are the type of mechanic that try to fix an issue by just replacing parts until the issue is fixed, which can be expensive in the long run.

great guys. great work. They kept to their quote and timeline. The body work done on my Tundra was excellent. Paint match was spot on. Been bringing it back for oil changes and tune-ups too.
