It feels so good to trust my mechanic fully again. Niko came highly recommended by a coworker and I m so glad I found his shop. He has high standards for the parts he will put on your car, is honest and will go that extra mile for you. His prices are fair and his work is well worth it.

How can I describe Niko ? Totally and completely trustworthy ! Hes super honest and tries to be as transparent as possible ! Who could ever ask for more from their mechanic ? You will never go wrong taking your vehicle to him !! The quality of work is so thorough and his customer service is outstanding ! Could not recommend a better auto repair guy !

Niko to the rescue again. My car overheated and I needed a new radiator. Had the car towed there. He had it fixed within a few hours and I was back in business. I have been extremely happy with him and his services.

Niko, the fairly new business owner of S & R, is hands-down the most honest and reliable mechanic I've had the pleasure of working with.Niko is the best in the business; a young mechanical genius whose capable of repairing and rebuilding any vehicle. All of my vehicles are maintained by S & R as Niko works on all years/makes/models.He is awesome at engine/transmission re-builds and I've witnesses him re-build some amazing classics. Niko always provides honest/fair advice at a reasonable price.

Most honest mechanic in San Diego County! I can t say enough positive things about Niko. I ve been going to him for years, and have referred family and friends as well. Nico and Ryan helped me with my oil change. The service was quick and efficient. I can tell he really stands behind his work. I believe the name was Nadine that helped cash me out, also very kind and appreciated the hospitality and honesty of this business! You'll be seeing me again for my next maintenance check! Niko provides professional service and practices "least cost" troubleshooting/repair options. He carefully explains the details of the issue with expert level knowledge. His level of communication is top notch! He was able to rectify an emissions issue that I was having in a much less expensive way compared to what the Honda dealership quoted me. I was so impressed that I took my wife's car there for emissions work as well. Both cars passed the smog test without issue. I highly recommend!

Had my 2015 Honda civic si clutch and flywheel job done with S&R Service Center and it was a great experience, Niko is very knowledgeable and direct to the point, listens and suggests things to be concerned or to expect and always communicates with the car's progress.

I can't recommend these guys enough. If you have any question on where to go for auto services and are seeking someone professional, trustworthy, and fair, you've found the spot. I've had an issue with my car for years, took it to various Pep Boys locations across the US, and the issue was never solved and I paid more than double for Pep Boys not to fix the issue than I did at S&R to not only fix the problem but also with a faster turnaround time and with high quality, American-made parts. I was recommended S&R by family and was assured they'd take good care of me so I drove my car out here from Texas and while on vacation, S&R got it done.

Truck didn t pass smog, was recommended to S&R. Niko was professional, kind, honest. He worked with me and explained what he was doing, why he was doing it, and the cost. I was searching for an honest mechanic for a while as it s hard to find trustworthy auto shops and I came across S&R. I have to say this is the best shop I ve ever been to, Niko has to be one of the most knowledgeable and friendly mechanics in San Diego.He took care of me right from the beginning and never hid anything from me and kept me informed the entire time. I needed a new clutch for my Subaru WRX, and he helped me pick one out that fit my driving style. He told me it would take 2 days and I dropped my car off, and sure enough 2 days later he gave me a call and told me I could pick it up. He even showed me my old clutch and why it needed to be replaced, which most mechanics won t do, and my car drove perfectly.I would reccomend this shop to anyone looking for reliable work on your car and I will be going here for every repair

Niko B. The owner is the most honest and trustworthy mechanic you will ever meet.My brakes were squealing and screeching excessively while driving and stopping. I originally went to another shop in the same center. I made an appointment the day prior. When I showed up I was told that no one would be able to work on my car for at least an hour, and he was rude. I called into another shop that had 5 stars on yelp and they were not taking any buisness for the day because of Christmas Eve. The owner referred me to Niko.I m super glad that he did. Niko not only inspected my brakes but his attention to detail helped entail the safety of my car. My brakes were about to fail and he even showed them to me afterwards. Niko is one of the rare, trustworthy mechanics that I trust with any automobile.

It's hard to find a reliable mechanic... Niko and his guys are awesome! You can easily just schedule maintenance or repair by giving them a call or even texting Niko. They do get busy, of course, but it's for good reasons! If you want to get the job done correctly and efficiently, go here!

I recently took my car here to get my brake pads and rotors replaced and I couldn't be happier with the results. Niko is very friendly and knowledgeable. Not only is he outstanding at his job, he takes the time to explain what exactly it is he's doing. I will be going back soon to have more work done on my car.

Honestly I don't know why I never gave a review until now. I have a 2013 Chevy silverado 1500 and my wife has a 2006 Chevy Malibu. Niko is probably the only mechanic I have ever been to that didn't try and upsell and tell me I need to replace more than what is actually needed. I completely trust him and basically whatever he suggests is what I go with. He has never tried to lie, coerce, or convince me into doing anything I didn't want done. I have an older model Honda Pilot that I have literally taken to 4 other mechanics (to include the dealer!) and no one could sort out an engine issue. These guys did it on the first try. They also did it on a last minute basis, spent extra time explaining the situation to my wife who took the car in and then actually followed up several times to make sure things were okay still. I have NEVER seen that. Simply the best shop I've ever been in contact with. Anywhere.Service: Engine repair

Was having some problems with my back door on my 2006 Acura TL. All the dealerships and a lot of places were charging me an arm and a leg to get just a simple piece replaced. I came in to S and R service Center and Nico took care of me right away. Super knowledgeable guy. Took the time to help me out with no one else would.
