I was at Kevin's at 8.25am on Friday with an engine overheating problem, with a plan to drive to Tucson, AZ that day. Kevin looked at the car and showed me the damaged radiator, leaking coolant. He quoted me a fair price (upon billing reduced that amount since he said he didn't need to do something), changed the radiator and fixed the car by mid day. A true veteran, a good mechanic and a great human being. Thank You Kevin and Your associate for taking care of me and my car

Kevin is a top-notch mechanic and owner of the shop! He recently replaced the brake pads and rotor on my Lexus NX200t. Kevin's Auto Care, Inc, is an outstanding auto care repair shop run and owned by an outstanding, honest and excellent Veteran!! I had purchased a Bull Bar Guard I wanted to have installed on my F150 Truck, and he was the only one out of all the places I checked that guaranteed he would install it or I would not be charged!!! My Truck is a 2005 Ford F150, and since my budget would not allow me to have a dealership, or anyone else for that matter, purchase one specifically to fit for that year now, the Bull Bar Guard that I bought was considered to be an "aftermarket" part which offered a span of F150 Models it would supposedly fit. I have learned a lot about my Truck, what the word "aftermarket" means, and why it's harder to find affordable parts for older models and makes for vehicles. It is to me another world---OMG!!! But after I called Kevin, and drove the Truck over with the Bull Bar Guard still wrapped inside the box, he told me not to worry, that he would make it fit or he would not charge me a dime!!! Well, he not only got it to fit my Truck, but did an excellent job installing it for me!! It's totally tight, secure, strong and makes my Truck look amazing!!! My Truck has an alarm that goes off whenever anyone gets too close to it, but the guy that backed into my front bumper seemed to not hear it and kept on backing up into it even after the loud alarm on it woke me up on a Saturday sometime @ midnight!!! But by the time I got to the front door, I saw the SUV taking off after it rammed into my Truck, leaving me no note or any way to contact him about the damages he left. But he won't be able to do that anymore thanks to Kevin!! It's good to know there are trustworthy, talented and honest car repair shops you can feel good about taking your cars and trucks to, and Kevin's Auto Care is one of those amazing places!!! You can just drive your vehicle to get the repairs you need and rest easy that you will get them done for the price he quotes up front with zero "up charges" while delivering superior service to your vehicle at the same time!!! So, if you're looking for someone who will work FOR YOU AND YOUR CAR OR TRUCK, I highly recommend Kevin's Auto Care!! You are not only leaving it in great hands but you won't meet a nicer, more trustworthy guy!! And you won't have to deal with services being recommended to you that you do not need, either!! Kevin is the real deal, a great human being and knows what he's doing. Thank you so much, Kevin, for giving me the peace of mind I was missing; I know my Truck is completely protected now!!! And Kevin will tell you if he can't do something for you. But chances are if Kevin can't do it, no one else around here will be able to, either; He's just that awesome!!!(October 4, 2023)P.S. I just checked what I thought installing a Bull Bar Guard might fall under as that specific service itself was not listed and I could not add that service to the list. I have a 2001 Ford Explorer Sport Trac and Kevin has saved me so much money on some much needed repairs. To be more specific - after comparing his prices to 2 other shops, he's saved me over $1,000. He's honest and very to the point, which I appreciate. Also GREAT at communication, he actually gave me updates and was realistic about how long the job would take, or if the shop was super busy that day, etc. 10/10 would recommend.Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection, Oil change

Kevin does absolutely great work with my Mazda. I ve gone to him with a half dozen different issues and he always treats me and my vehicle with respect and integrity. He is fair and straightforward with his assessments. I d recommend him to anyone.

I've been taking my 4 cars to Kevin since he took over as owner.. All of my family's cars are doing great due to his great repair/maintenance expertise!!! My cars range from 2007 Toyota Tacoma V6, 2004 Volvo S60, 2002 MB E320, to 2014 BMW 535I, and to my son's 2014 Toyota Rav4. I recommended him to my brother and would recommend him to others as well.

Proudly owned and operated by a United States Veteran, and from personal experience, the best auto service in North County. Kevin is one of the nicest people I have ever met, and a great pleasure to do business with. He is a very nice guy and as soon as you walk through his doors, you are treated as family with dignity, respect, and honesty. A+++ service! Thanks to Kevin and his awesome team.

My wife and I just moved into the area and needed to have work done on both of our cars. We could have been taken for granted but Kevin is a man of his word. He took great care of us and guaranteed his shops work. This seems like a place that is not going to take your last dime on maintenance that could wait. I feel comfortable writing this review in good faith and I can recommend this shop for all who want to be treated fairly without all the BS. Thank you Kevin Auto Care.

Kevin is an honest and great guy to work with. His prices are great and he does quality work with transparency, no gimmicks or trying to upcharge. He did the brakes on our 2017 Land Rover Discovery sport all while beating the dealerships at half the price. I can t recommend his service enough.

I took my Toyota Celica in to get my brake pads replaced the other day, and the shop I took it to tried to upsell, saying that I needed to replace the rotors along with the brake pads. I took my car in to Kevin's shop today, and he replaced my brake pads without question. He worked with me to diagnose if rotors were necessary and agreed that only brake pads were necessary. Additionally, as luck would have it, my car wouldn't turn on after I parked near the shop, a problem I wasn't having before. Kevin took the time to personally check the battery, and rather than deciding to replace it immediately, noted that the battery was just fine. After tinkering a little bit, he found there was a faulty wiring connection - which he replaced completely free of charge! Needless to say I've finally found my mechanic in Oceanside!

If you have any sort of problems with your car take it to this shop. Kevin is real nice guy as soon as you enter his shop is very welcoming. He fixed a problem Ive had on my car and for cheap too, so if you need a mechanic that you can trust go to Kevins auto care.

Because I do my research on any repair to my car that is going to cost me a lot of cash, I called or visited 5 shops for estimates on replacing the shocks on my Honda Civic. Not one shop quoted me less than $1200, and 2 of them wanted much more. I researched the web and found Kevin's Auto Care. I drove in to see him. He was courteous and friendly but told me that he does not install shocks by themselves because almost always they found issues with the struts, springs and assemblies.But then he proceeded to tell that he would replace everything for$1180. I couldn't believe my ears.I was able to bring in the car the following morning. He called me in the early afternoon that the car was ready and the bill was exactly what he had quoted me. As soon as I drove the car it was a totally different ride. The car was now smooth, stable and I had terrific control.Kevin's shop does almost every kind of auto service and repair. I fully intend to make Kevin my go-to guy for all my auto service needs.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Kevin is pleasant to speak with. He charges a very fair price and completed the work on time.After checking my brakes (I figured were about due), he let me know they are actually still in good shape and don't need to be replaced at this time. Honesty like that is rare!Based on my experience, I will keep bringing my vehicles to Kevin's and I reccomend his service to you as well.

I have a BMW 2016 with thousands of miles! Kevin's Auto repair shop is the only shop I can trust to take my car in! Kevin was very knowledgeable regarding my vehicle and my particular models history. Advised me to perform only the immediate necessary repairs. He did not try to sell me on doing any extra work. We have been coming to Kevin s for repair and maintenance in my 2012 Mercedes C250 and my husband s F150 for a few years. Kevin has always been helpful and fair with his price and services. When we took our car to the dealership they did not take care or my car issue, I brought it to Kevin and it was fixed in a couple of days and for much less than the dealership wanted to charge me. I strongly recommend Kevin Auto Care for your automotive needs.

I was referred to Kevin by my co-worker and I m so glad I was. It s hard to find an honest and good mechanic. Kevin was both. My car needed several things repaired. I was worried about what the total cost would be. But, Kevin gave me a good deal for everything and now my car runs like new! I highly recommend Kevin s Auto Care. Kevin made himself available during Labor Day weekend to get my car's air conditioner repaired. At every point he kept costs down as much as possible. As a customer I felt my needs were always considered in an honest, helpful manner. His waiting room is very comfortable, again showing respect for his customers. Kevin is an excellent mechanic that operates with integrity, someone you can trust to give you the best all-around service possible.

Nothing but positive things to say about Kevin auto repair. Kevin was able to accommodate me without an appointment and fixed my car within 2 days. He is the kind of auto mechanic who is honest and very reasonable. He will do such top quality work, prices are VERY REASONABLE! He will not rip you off like others. Highly recommend! Amazing service! I called and asked about getting my brakes replaced and they did it the very next day for a great price and were quick. A few days later I brought my husband's car in for a battery diagnostic and they were able to get that replaced the same day. I've brought my car to Kevin for about 3 years now, everytime Kevin himself greets me. I've had nothing but good come from taking my car to his shop, from him giving me pointers for my own ability to do maintenance on my own time, to his work ethic and knowledge of vehicles, to the timely manner he finishes the job. I m very big on doing it myself but i bite the bullet and take it to Kevin s. The guy is super knowledgeable and his other worker too they definitely know what there doing and talking about. i came in for a diagnostic on my engine cause i just couldn t figure it out. He is very knowledgeable and gave me a huge piece of mind for my car. Very respectful and supportive of military as well as i can t speak for maintenance i would highly recommend if you have no idea what to do.Service: Engine repair

Kevin was referred to me by a co-worker. He was close and he has the best name there is so I took my '08 Charger there when I started noticing some issues. He looked it over and gave me a breakdown of what it would take to fix. He showed what a fair price is for the work he was going to do as well. He finished on time and my car has been running smoothly ever since this visit. I highly recommend Kevin's shop... and no, I'm not Kevin that owns the shop. :-)
