My tire went flat at the gas station. When I went online to look for a local mobile medic many popped up but I decided to go with j and cp.Jose showed up about 25 minutes later (I was quoted 30 minutes). He helped me dig my spare out of the trunk and immediately got to the task at hand. My tire was changed in five minutes flat and I was back on the road in no time.Jose was a really helpful and easygoing guy, thank goodness!I will definitely be recommending his service to anyone in need. Needed help installing my brake pads and Jose came to my rescue. Without him I wouldn t have been or taken me HOURS to do so without him. Visiting San Diego and starting battery on my Volt died. Tow truck not an option in underground garage and a jump wasn t doing the trick. Called around and Jose was by far the most professional and accommodating mobile mechanic with whom I spoke. He took my trunk apart to get to the battery and put everything back together without issue. Honest, hard working and reliable. My starter went out in Chula Vista on my way to Tijuana to pick up my pop, I'm from Redwood City, I don't know anybody in that area, Jose came through, great man, very blessed and hard working. Long story short he replaced my alternator on the spot, can't thank him enough, God bless him and his whole family.

My son's car had the engine light on. The oxygen sensor was the problem. I called Jose to help remove the oxygen sensor. He was very accommodating with my schedule. He showed up right on time. He gave a great explanation of what his diagnosis was and in a matter of minutes he loosened the sensor. He was very honest and put my mind at ease. I will definitely keep his number and call or refer him to family and friends who need a good honest mechanic. Thank you Jose!

UPDATE: we had another issue with our 98 pick up, and Jose did such an amazing job the first couple times we have had him come out, I knew exactly who to call. This is the only mechanic I trust with my vehicles. I simply found him from doing a Google search, and he has been a blessing ever since. He is kind, honest, trustworthy and completely fair priced. I will never use another mechanic again. I cannot say how truly thankful I am for Jose. He now works on both of my cars and even on my in-laws cars. His scheduling style is a bit unique LOL but it is 100% worth it!!!!!Very glad to have found Jose!His scheduling process is a bit unique lol but he is HONEST and hardworking. He is not looking to rack on charges, but only what is needed. I am very grateful for his honesty and attitude. He will definitely be our family s go to from here on out!

Jose is a super nice person. My car wouldn t start at all. I was about to call towing service bc idk anything about cars but I checked google and saw he had great ratings so I called him. Definitely did not disappoint. He was able to drive to me right away and had my car running within 10 minutes. Amazing, going to him whenever I need car help again. 10/10 recommend !!!

Jose professionalism and customer service was by far the best experience I have had in a mechanic. I had looked at three other mechanics all charging outrageous pricing and all estimates having to towed my vehicle to the shop was going to cost me even more.Jose help me verify it was my alternator gave me a ride to AutoZone to check the battery gave me a ride to the battery store and had a great attitude during the whole experience. I don't write reviews but for this guy have to show my appreciation of his integrity and hard work. This is my new mechanic for small jobs I can't do. Thanks again Jose

Jose was a life saver today... I called 8 other local mechanics and they wanted to charge me way more and they could not do the task till tomorrow. Jos� answered and within minutes was working on the task at hand. He completed had all the tools and new parts we need within minutes and was able to complete the job in a quick time frame. I would recommend him if you need quick assistance don t be hesitate to call him. Will definitely be recommending him to everyone.

Jos� is a very polite and professional mechanic, he diagnosed my truck after having towed it to my house two days before. His diagnosis was: no gas, even though the gauge showed 1/4. I was surprised by his HONESTY because at the moment I was in his hands for what ever he could had said. I m so glad I reached out to him and WILL do it again. Jose is a great mechanic! My girlfriend had car trouble and he came out same day and diagnosed the problem ( faulty starter) and fixed it quick. He is very nice and very reasonably priced.I highly recommend this service if you are in the Chula Vista area. Five Stars.

Needed a pre-purchase inspection for a vehicle that I was interested in. Their price for the inspection is very affordable. Jose came out and he was awesome. He looked over everything, told me everything that was good and bad about the car during and after the inspection. Even asked the seller very great questions. Prevented me from buying a total disaster. I didn't have a ride so he offered to give me a ride to the trolley station and didn't even charge me full price for the inspection and ride. Thank you again Jose!

Jose came to repair my vehicles brakes and although I thought the brake pads needed to be replaced because they were screeching bad, after his diagnosis he said they only needed maintenance and that did the work. I glad and thankful he is honest and I was able to save money and is very professional and was on time!

Got my AC serviced and filters changed at very reasonable price. Jose will work with your schedule. Really great guy! I m very pleased with the quality of work and customer service. Another highly satisfied customer here!

Jose was great... He came to put brakes on a van for me and come to find out pads and all were good. He tried bleeding the system but we soon found a leak on the brake proportioning valve which he said needed to be done at a shop. I asked what I owed him for his 1 HR he spent here and he said no worries.... I would recommend him to anyone.

Let me start by saying that Jose is a life saver.I was in a bind and having alternator issues,went thru 2 batteries..Finally went and had it tested and sure enough,bad.Bought an alternator to save on parts markup.All shops were wanting to charge me an arm and leg.I googled mobile mechanics in my area and tons popped up.chose the first one,and it was Jose.Jose came thru for me at the last minute.Came out on a Saturday and installed it.Im here to tell ya'll that i highly recommend you use Jose.Friendly,honest,and cares about his customers...I would give you 20 stars Jose but you drank a glass of water.lol.I will use him everytime from now on.Thank You Jose

I arranged for J&CP to come out and look over a car I was interested in buying. I explained I needed them to be there because I was driving 3 hours with my wife and infant daughter just to see this car and possibly buy it. They agreed. I said if I was going to show up later than the agreed time that I would call them. The following day I arrived at the car a little early so I texted them and said I was there. Nothing. 10 minutes later I sent another message saying please confirm you're still coming--NOTHING. After 30 minutes and 4 unanswered texts, I called. A receptionist lady said I never confirmed my appointment. It was a total lie. They were on some other job and they had blown me off. I explained everything I went through to be where I was supposed to be, but they just played dumb. They then told me to find someone else and hung up on me. They lack integrity. They have no character. They do whatever suits them, and if you don't want to be left hanging, I'd pass on these charlatans.

I called he answered he s only available when he can show up there s no appointment process so I would have to take a day off of work and wait around I suppose? He calls me late in the afternoon and said I can be there in 30 min but I m working I was not able to do that then he said he ll call later. Then I call him do you later waiting afternoon which I appreciate you came over looked in my vehicles and said to get to the shop so I don t think it s his shop he s just referring to someone else s shop I suspect anyway it s his way of getting rid of you I take it I m giving him three stars One for coming late two for answering his phone and three for nothing

Competent, fast, friendly, flexible, and transparent with charges. Most car mechanics I consider shady, slow, unreliable - Jose is the opposite.Edit: Jobs done to date: 4Services: Steering & suspension repair, Electrical, Brakes, Battery

His scheduling process is nonexistent. I made an appointment two days ahead and when I hadn t received the call I was told I would get the morning of, I called and he had not actually scheduled me and forgotten to which he is excused himself by saying he s old. Very unprofessional to me.

Didn't work with him....but it seems like he's just a simple stuff mechanic....turn over my call saying he was busy all day.Sounded more like an excuse to me, cuz he ask what was the problem and right away he sayed don't expect his help since he was busy all day, and if I found some else, to take it. most would sayed another day if possible.
