I highly recommend George s Auto Repair for all of your automotive needs. Trustworthy, experienced, knowledgeable and dependable. The best qualities when looking for a mechanic. George assessed the issue with my vehicle, took the time to explain and was able to get the job done quickly and at a fair price. I will come here for all of my car s needs from now on. I am so thankful to have found such a great spot for my marshmallow . Thank you so much George and team!! You guys are the best!

He had my car 4 6 months and didn't fix it. I went 2 the state auto dept .and reported him ,they said take him 2 small claims. I did and i dont know that legal stuff and lost. So I lost my job over this.

I had an excellent experience at George's today. I brought in my old motor home in to be smogged and it didn't pass but they figured out the issue and did the repairs on the spot. Excellent service, professional mechanics and fair prices. I loved them!!!! I highly recommend. We need to support local businesses.

George is a great guy and did a great job on our Nissan Versa. Took the time to explain what was wrong and even pointed out repairs that he suggested I should fix myself. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a good, fair mechanic.

Just moved here. Called because I have an evap code on a car I purchased here. Guy literally said we don't do any evap codes and hung up on me in the middle of the call. could have at least told me someone who does. And that was mr. George himself. What a jackass. So screw this business.

I've had my Tahoe since 2002 and has over 300k miles on it and I have George to thank. He has serviced my Tahoe for the last 5 years and is very honest and upfront with pricing, reliability and professionalism.

So my Dodge Durango overheated and I immediately pulled over and called AAA. They came and got my car and took it to a "approved AAA mechanic" that was within 7 miles. Because that is as far as you can go on a tow for free with a standard membership. Anyhow, the approved mechanic told me he hooked up my engine to the computer and said I have a blown radiator and a blown head gasket because my engine overheated to over 280 degrees. I told him my engine didn't get that hot and that it started over heating and I pulled over and shut it off immediately. I told him to just start with the radiator and see what happens. He didn't want to do that and it would be $3400 to fix it. So, I called George's Auto and told him what the AAA approved theif said. He told me to get the car to him, that it sounded like it was just the radiator. So I paid for a tow to George's and low and behold it was just a radiator. It is really hard to find good honest people anymore, but George is definitely one of them. He saved me around $2700 including my out of pocket cost to tow it to him. I will never take my cars anywhere else but George's. Thanks George.

George fixed my truck in a day and a half after 2 other repair shops couldn't figure it out. WOW! I met all the mechanics. They listened to all the details of my concerns. The other thing that WOWed me was how clean and organized the shop was. I can't thanks them enough.

The guy doing the smog check seems awfully confused. Then his comment we don't work on cars like yours they are all plastic and we always break things taking them apart. I have owned my Jaguar for 17 years and have had numerous repairs and never once did I get a call that the mechanic broke a part. All this while I am listening to a very frustrated mechanic cussing at the car he is working on. Seemed like there was a reason they break parts working on cars

I'm from Oceanside and always had my vehicle work done there but moved to vista and decided to give a local business a shot. When my girlfriend took my truck in for smog George said it didn't pass and still charged me. He told me to go drive it around then come back and it "should" pass and he would charge me again for the smog. After speaking to my mechanic of 20 years, he told me that George had to know by the reading it was giving that it wasn't gonna pass but decided to do it anyway and it failed and he still charged me instead of being an honest man and up front and telling me that it wasn't going to pass and to go drive it around then come back and I'll retest and it should pass. Instead of charging me twice. When I went to the shop in oceanside previously when I took it in for smog the shop told me before failing it to go drive around some more then come back and when I did that it passed with no problem and I was only charged once. Point being he knew it wasn't going to pass he should have told me to go drive around for a while then come back and only charge me once. I recommend not to do business with this guy he's not an upstanding guy and will RIP you off like he did me.

Very honest and excellent repairs. We use them for their knowledge of diesel trucks, but they do all vehicles.
