Quality workmanship, comfortable environment, kind staff, reasonable prices, what more could you ask for?! Brought my old Benz in for new brakes. Decided to wait there while work was being done. Enjoyed a k-cup while seated on a leather couch in a comfortable, spotless waiting room! Both Carol and Chris were very helpful and kind! (Last place I went had a plastic chair in a hot, dusty parking lot - literally - and my brakes were squeaking within a year!)

Chris and his staff at European Autoworks were great! I took my 2015 RR Sport in for an oil change and to check out a coolant leak I was experiencing after a month of ownership. Oil change performed at level of dealership service center and at a very reasonable price (included Land Rover's recommended vehicle inspection).Coolant Leak Eval: His team tested the cooling system and found the issue. Chris had no problems working with my extended warranty company to quickly resolve the issue; $950 repair performed for cost of my deductible! True professional that listens to the customer and recommends the best & honest solutions. I am very happy with the level of service received.If you have a vehicle that *requires* above average care, I highly recommend visiting European Autoworks for an evaluation and estimate on any service(s) needed.Services: Auto water leak repair, Vehicle Inspection, Oil change

This was my go to place for my audi services when I lived in vista. One service a small mistake occurred causing some damage to my vehicle down the road. But Chris took care of every single issue and put me back on the road at no cost to myself. This company truly will take care of you, I highly recommend them for any looking to get European Car services.

You own an older Mercedes Benz like I do, a 2009 SL63 AMG. You don t take your car to any mechanic to work on your car.This is the place to take your car to be serviced, professional, pride of ownership work area is spotless, fair pricing and most importantly high quality service. I moved from Northern California three years ago and have tried 3 other Mercedes auto shops in my area and not totally impressed. So I started to look outside my area and I found this place which about 30 miles away, worth the drive Chris and his team do a great job, European Autoworks have earned a loyal customer, trust me when I say you will not be disappointed.Services: Electrical, Oil change

We were really impressed with the level of service at European Autoworks. Chris and the crew were professional, and their communication throughout was appreciated. We've been to a number of other European shops in North County with our Audi, with marginal service and inflated prices. It's a peace of mind now having this shop for service and repairs.Services: Engine repair, Auto maintenance, Battery

Chris is an honest man who values the customer! He honors his guarantees and is a skilled mechanic. I went in for a purge valve replacement and was really satisfied with the work! He personally and throughly explained to me what was going on with my car before fixing it! It has been about a month since this work and the car runs smoothly with no problems! 10/10 would recommend! Thank you!

Easily the most honest company I've dealt with for cars in my life. Not only are they accommodating and friendly but are very open with their pricing, what they recommend, and even referring elsewhere if they believe you'll get a better deal. They could have easily told me my car had a transmission issue when I took it the first time and sent me up a creek having to pay an exorbitant amount. Instead they really dug into it and found a much easier to repair issue. Trustworthy doesn't do them justice. These guys know how to keep customers. If you have a car brand that they service I would strongly encourage you to go there!Edit - I believe the guy who's helped me a few times is Chris. Even remembered my car and the exact issue from 8 months prior. Good memory

Took my car to 2 shops and was told we have no idea you gonna have to take your car to the dealer Took My BMW 3 series here and they found it was my Valve Cover and a few other things fixed my car in one day and the price was right. Its hard to trust mechanics and I was worried but I think I found my new mechanic Chris. Thumbs UP!

My 2011 Mini-Cooper S had an engine misfire at cold start and 4 active DTC's. Chris W. quoted a repair estimate less than the local BMW Mini dealer. After diagnostics...he called me to explain the result and recommended repair. He also offered an additional related service that was overdue, which I was unaware of. The work was performed on-time at a reasonable cost. So far, my car runs great and I would definitely recommend European Autoworks to my friends. I will definitely return for the next needed vehicle service.Service: Engine repair

On a whim, and noticing I was due for an oil change on our Mercedes SLK230, I stopped at European Autoworks for the first time. Brian quoted me a very decent price for the "A" service, so I bit. I scheduled my appointment, brought in my car, and after a half day, the vehicle was ready and even washed! I know that the dealership always had done this, but for more than double the price of what this company quoted. Not only was it done with my complete satisfaction, but the price was even LESS than quoted. I was very impressed with that. I had some additional issues that I wanted resolved on the Mercedes, and Brian worked out a very good offer. I brought her back in for all the other issues, and it was fixed beyond my expectations and at the negotiated price. I am very impressed with the workmanship, the quality of the parts, and now the way my car performs. I will definitely let others know where to go for their import car repairs, and I will definitely be back.

We have been going to European Autoworks for the past couple years now. The professional, friendly service is 2nd to none! The bid is spot on and their customer service is 1st class! Chris and his family have been in business for many many years and it shows as they appreciate their clients. Thank you for your commitment to customer service and doing a great job with our MB! We refer all our friends and family with European cars here! Oh, thank you for the free car washes too! Totally First Class!

Brought my 2006 Porsche 911 Carrera in for an oil change recently, and had some other work done about a year ago since they're so close by my work. I had been going to their excellent competitor across town, but EA is so much more convenient for me. I'm so happy I found yet another independent Porsche mechanic who I can trust with my "baby". Excellent quality, super friendly. Highly recommended.

Chris and his team do a great job. I ve gotten simple oil changes, and I got more detailed stuff done that I haven t wanted to do myself, like 2 window regulator jobs done. If you have a bad experience with Chris and his, it s probably because you don t know how to communicate or you are simply an awful person to work with. Pretty straight forward if you ask me.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

I am a long time owner of BMW vehicles. I ran into a strange issue with my 3 series where I was unable to open my trunk. This was most likely due to the new battery being installed (or programmed) incorrectly. As the battery is located in the trunk this sparked a myriad of issues. I took the vehicle to Carlsbad Exclusive, All German Auto, Lael's and BMW of North County /Vista. I even had a master locksmith work on it. None of them were able to solve the issue. North County BMW kept the vehicle for over a week, charged me for diagnostics (as others did) and could not solve the issue. To add insult to injury Tim Lewis the Service manager at North County BMW, while nice to my face, would not return my calls and frankly hid from me. I took the vehicle to Chris at European Autoworks who accepted the challenge and did what others could not. It was not cheap, and I am not being paid for this testimonial, but it is important to note that the European Autoworks team was willing and able to perform were others were too incompetent to do so.

European Autoworks (Chris, Carol & Staff, and before them old George himself) have made sure all my Volvo's over the years have been kept in tip/top running order. My first service was in Georges' home garage so many years ago, I apologize, but I've forgotten the year! Regardless, they have kept up all the maintenance on my Volvo XCV70 and now I'm ready to pass the vehicle on to another family member. The vehicle checks out fully functional and no "codes" to report, ready for the COS to Petaluma. Thank you so much for the years of excellent service. M.S. European Autoworks is amazing. I was having an issue from an accident and the collision repair as well as the dealer couldn't find the issue. I took my 2006 Volvo v50 to European Autoworks, Chris and his team worked magic on my car for a fraction of the dealers costs. He was able to work with my insurance adjuster as well as with me direct to get my car running great again. I am planning on bringing my wife's BMW as well as recommend European Autoworks to all my friends. I am so glad I found this repair facility for all my future automotive repairs.

Chris is always there to greet you and get you checked in and out quickly. He gives an honest assessment of must do, should do and let it go! My car is ready when promised and always has been washed! I'll keep coming back with their track record!

Was driving through Vista when our Audi starting making a funny noise. People at European Autoworks were extremely nice and expeditious on the repair. Prices were fair and before you know it, we were back on the road.

I have taken my 1986 Volvo 240 GL to George Woollet and his crew at European Autoworks since I moved to the North County 13 years ago and I have always received top notch service-no matter the automotive need- under his care. His honesty and integrity are backed by quality and superior attention to detail, going above and beyond the embodiment of "trusted mechanic", George has made my family, part of his!
