They told me the part that I was buying would be a full Assembly, that they don t sell the parts separately, not true at all. They said all I would only need the bearing kit & their assembly. Not true, I had to go back 3 times and I still had to buy more parts. Not trust worthy at all. So I had to return everything for a refund and go to PRO GEAR IN SAN DIEGO.

Brought in my car march 12 I was told it would take at least ten days to do the repairs after they gave me an estimate and that they'll call me if anything changes. I had to ask a couple times before someone was able to give me an estimate of ~2300$ so that I get ready to pay. About a month later I call because I haven't heard from them and turns out the mechanic guessed approximately what size axles I need to get machined professionally and guessed wrong (what's the point of paying for a diagnostic?)They said they'd call to keep me updated but I had to be the one to call them each time. but at last they called me and I got my car today June 17 about 3 months later.I ended up paying~2880$ and my hood now doesn't close probably. I asked the guy there what that's about and apparently he has no idea (wish is strange since it's been in his possession for like 3 months) and there's nothing he can do about it since he "isn't a body shop." I have pictures of when I gave them my car and from today picking it up. the gap is noticable.I'm giving them 2.5 stars because however they did fix the original issues and I'm happy about that but the mistakes and time they took and the mysterious gap in the hood and the additional ~500$ they never called me about brings it down to a 2.5 star place.Definitely not coming back.

I highly recommend Frank and the staff at Driveline Vista! They are absolutely exceptional at everything they do. They provide the best service and perform top notch work, we are really happy with the work they performed on our Jeep Rubicon.

Helped me out in a pinch the other day, and had a specialty part in stock. Rather knowledgeable. Didn't get any deals on the part, but I needed it.

Had a gear change on a 9.75 ford. Brought it back twice now. Pinion seal and cover leak. Was training a young guy that didn't speak English on my rear end. Now it's a continuous problem.

Called on Saturday morning at nine in the morning needed to get a center driveshaft carrier bearing replaced. The quote was a few hundred dollars less than two other mechanics got me in and completed the job in an hour. Honest quality shop highly recommend

So I came here to get my truck fixed and it was a very interesting experience to say the least. Frank and the front office manager(I can't remember her name) are both excellent. Friendly, fair and always helpful. Unfortunately the mechanics working for them do not provide high quality labor. I had to bring my truck back several times because they continually were unable to fix a simple problem. Multiple times they handed me my keys when my truck still was leaking fuel which is dangerous and bad business practice. They even told me repairs were completed when a part had been broken while dropping my fuel tank and failed to notify myself or the owner Frank. Moral of the story is that they are very nice people but the quality of labor here is pretty sub-par and I would not recommend them. They will not cheat you money from you but I am not confident that they will provide you with the highest quality repairs.

Surprise $60 charge for U-Joints after I specifically asked over the phone. I was going to let it go as a simple misunderstanding until the guy behind the counter was rude when I went to pick up my driveshaft after having it shortened. Wound up paying the same amount I would have for a brand new custom length driveshaft of better quality. Luckily I probably won't need to have this kind of thing done again for a while, but if I do it will be with a different company.

A+ been using a different driveline shop in oceanside and last 3 shafts have had balance issues..took the one with the biggest issue to Frank and just drove 70 down the freeway.. perfect. This is a thick walled rock crawler shaft hard to deal with but frank nailed it....Thanks frank, appreciate the quality work...Note the other 2 shafts were off my jeeps and should have gone to Frank.

Frank stayed late by about 10 minutes to make sure he was able to help me. My driveshaft was done within a day, and the quality of work was excellent! I recommend driveline Vista over the place in Oceanside any day!

I highly recommend Vista Drive Line, not only for their great service but great pricing as well. I had my positraction rear end replaced and their price to install was 1/3 less than their competitors in the area. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Just diagnosed and quoted over $3,000 in repairs and given no options to proceed outside of the full amount. Not helpful at all.
