Called and said I was in a rush. Person said they could take the car almost immediately if I arrived in 10 minute. Get there and there s a long line. Incredulous owner makes me prove I spoke to someone. Show phone record. They finally determine their phone number goes to the gas station and he told me the wrong info. Just kind of throw their hands up and say too bad. Okay, if that s how you want to address your business mistakes, other people considering using this place should be aware.

From the moment I sent an email requesting a Smog test to completion of the work everything was done with the customer in mind. My email resulted in a phone call less than an hour later scheduling the appointment. I was given various options to come in the following day. I selected Saturday at 8 am. I arrived Saturday at 0750 and was immediately checked in. I was told the test would take about 30 minutes. Most repair shops and dealerships when they say 30 minutes you can expect it to be an hour, not so with Bonita Point. My car was completed as promised. I was so impressed with the service I scheduled my other car for a Smog test this coming Saturday. If how they conducted a Smog test appointment is any indication of how they do business, I highly recommend them. In addition, the staff was wonderfully engaging and completely professional throughout the process. Five stars for Bonita Point 76.

Brought my car in for a smog check and everything was great from top to bottom. Made an appointment online Thursday, was able to be seen on Friday. Service was friendly and efficient. Will definitely come back again when the car is due.

The Bonita Point Auto Care team provides courteous and timely service to meet my routine car maintenance needs. I get regular smog checks and oil changes at Bonita Point. They make recommendations for preventive maintenance to improve vehicle performance and life but don't pressure you to get additional work done. I like their discount coupons which make their prices competitive. I would recommend this local Chula Vista business to friends and neighbors.

I had an issue where my car did not pass smog on its first year, needed a new evap canister. They were so nice to let me keep my car till the parts arrived. Other shops did not want me to do that. They then called me to setup an appointment and installed it correctly and super quick. It then passed the smog. Amazing customer service, quality and value. Recommend them greatly.

Been taking our cars here for smog and minor issues for years now , and they are always professional, friendly at the counter, true to their tome estimations, and great with the communication. Would for sure recommend this little shop. Thanks Bonita point 76!!

I get diesel at the Propel pump here. There is only one pump, with diesel and flex fuel on both sides. I've only had to wait one time to use it. The people that work the booth are nice and helpful. The price of diesel is reasonable, and I noticed that my car has more pep, since I started using propel fuel.

Great work at an honest cost. Switched to Bonita Point Auto from the local Honda dealer due to their professionalism, friendliness and honesty. I believe they really appreciate their customers and go out of their way to keep you informed and make recommendations as needed. I would recommend their services as I am currently bring both of our cars for any maintenance and repair.

I had a pretty aggressive request for them to have our van done by a certain time. Our van needed significant work done, but they made it happen! Thankful for Gary and the whole crew there!

Very friendly and accommodating. They took me as a walk-in for a smog test and had it completed in 30-35 minutes. Would highly recommend and will be going back for my next smog test.

This happened about a year ago. I took my SUV's brakes for a change bc they were making noises. They changed all of them. Noise started again 1 week later, so I took it back in. They upgraded the brakes to a better version, but the same thing happened again a week later. I took them in for a third time, and I can't remember what exactly they did (they may have upgraded all the brakes), but the brakes still made noises. They're nice enough folks to give it a try multiple times, but they couldn't fix the issue.Just as an FYI: they don't repair EV tires. On a different car I have (not the one with the brake issues), I had a screw on one of the tires, and I took it in for repair. When I got there, a gentleman informed me that they don't work on EV tires. When I asked why, he said he didn't know, just followed orders, and that he didn't want to argue with managers to find out. I took it to repair at Discount Tire, and they fixed it for free. The person there said maybe BP doesn't work on EV tires bc they have foam in them.

My new go to auto shop. Sadly we needed to replace the top of the motor. They went to bat for me and had the warranty cover it. They have gained a loyal new return customer. A+++

STAY AWAY! Dishonest Family Business . My car passed the smog computer testing, but for the visual testing my car was marked as tampered in multiple categories. This isn t what bothered me though. After they failed me they suggested that I get repairs with them. If you decide to go elsewhere for repairs they ll charge you when you comeback to get your car checked again. If you want to pay double go here.

Based on my first visit, 5 stars all around. I had a nail in my tire, and from the phone call, to job completion, it was maybe 20 minutes, and the price was extremely fair. Will use them again.

I brought in my car this morning with a overheating issue and it was diagnosed as having a likely gasket leak. Frank was very knowledgeable and explained to me what could be going on with my car and kept me in the loop the entire time I waited. I appreciate his kindness, efficiency and professionalism and although, I just didn't have the financial means to take care of the issue today, I'm aware of what needs to be done to get my car right. Thank you Frank!

Do not use these guys. They charged me over $1000 for an oil leak. They had my car for a week.I was still smelling oil a month later, and bought it to a different mechanic. Bonita Point had done a bad job, and it was still leaking. Other mechanic cost me $140 to fix. Incompetent.Do not let these folks touch your car.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Took my son's car for service here. I'm fairly sure they did what they said, and it was probably (?) necessary, but their labor prices are crazy high. They got our business because of the convenient location only. Will go back if necessary to give them a chance to backup their 2 year warranty, and hope they stand by it without finding any other "problems".* Edit* I believe this is a fair review. I absolutely stand by what I said. They probably had to do what they said and I believe their prices are high. Who can argue with that?I understand that businesses respond to reviews, and sure hope that them thinking I wasnt fair does not impact their ability to stand behind their work if it comes to it. Otherwise, I do appreciate their convenient location.
