Would rate the service higher if I could. After bringing the car to a number of mechanics, Bob was the most upfront and efficient at solving my issue. I will definitely be a repeat customer!

I brought a Saab here and was pleasantly surprised to see some seriously tuned track vehicles on their lifts. As a long time BMW and track car owner, I can't tell you how refreshing it was to "talk shop" with Bob and his team knowing the vehicle was in good hands. They were thorough and even stopped midway to confirm the specific brand of parts and materials I would like to use. Their pricing was beyond fair and I highly recommend them. Thanks again, guys!

Bob is so very nice and it's a mostly family shop. We had a great time chatting! Oh, and they did a great job with some repairs on my daughters mini cooper too. Recommend 100%. Fair prices, too.

My wife's 2016 Fiat decided to break down yesterday and made a horrible clunking noise when the put it into gear. It was throwing "Service Engine" errors and "Drive Mode Unavailable".Bob's shop was recommended by another auto mechanic in the area, and so my mom gave him a call this morning to see if he could take a look at it, as we feared the worst (a possible transmission needing to be replaced).Bob actually came from his shop down to my apartment and checked codes on the Fiat, and drove it around the complex, confirming that he felt nothing wrong with the transmission, despite the codes that were coming up on the dash.He let me take pictures of the codes, told me I could research it, and didn't charge me to come down and look at it.The final result? A dead battery, which I was able to replace myself, but his honesty and willingness to come down and take a look at the car for me will have me bringing the Fiat in for a set of front brakes as well as bringing my 2016 Mini Countryman in for him to service as well. He's definitely got our business moving forward!

Took my 2004 BMW to Bob's shop in Vista for the first time after a recommendation from Tom at Autotyme Automotive down the street.I thought the brakes needed to be replaced, but Bob told me they were still good. I had him do several other things (spark plugs, fuel filter) and he recommended a couple of other things. His prices were very fair and I am pleased with the service.I will definitely be using him for service needs to my BMW and would recommend his shop.

I have been taking my Volvo 240 to Bob Workman for around 10 years now. Bob not only does great work, he is honest and his prices are very reasonable. Plus, Bob is a great guy. I highly recommend him.

The greatest experience Ive had with a mechanic ! Bob went above and beyond to make sure my experience at his shop was nothing but excellent ! He went out his way to first give my car a jump start when I was stuck in a parking lot near his location and reassured me all the work that was going to be done before starting service . His pricing was more than fair , and his team as well as his wife are very pleasant and nice people . I definitely will be bringing my BMW back for service with Bob . Thank you so much again for your kindness and reliability !

Got my BMW taken care off here. Bob works with you to get you the best deal on parts. The team is friendly, open to questions and very knowledgeable. Really appreciated them identifying and showing me what was wrong with my car, very transparent on their part. My car is driving much better, feels 5 years younger. Looking forward to coming here again for my next service.

Bob and his mechanics go above and behind. I had every piece of my suspension replaced with them and have my car there currently getting lights replaced. Bob kept me updated about the issues with my car, got me the best deals, and did everything quick. And when Bob wasn't able to do something, he pointed me in the right direction (he also has a guy Tony that does a lot of tows for him and is a lot better priced than the other tows around). Only shop now that I trust and enjoy taking our cars to.

My 1990 740 Turbo Volvo blew out it's differential as I drove by Bob's garage. I had heard good things, and since the car wasn't going much farther in it's state, I decided to give them a try.I'm very happy that I did. I did not expect to be attended immediately because I showed up without an appointment and no warning, but I was. Bob himself listened as I described the problem, came outside and drove the car around the block. He then drove it straight into his garage, put it up on the rack, and showed me the differential.He quoted me an insanely fair price, and went to work immediately on the vehicle. I expected him to tell me that they'd be able to get to it sometime this week, but instead he had the whole job done, and even added new shifter bushings and some (much needed) transmission fluid added, in under 2 hours.His price never deviated and I ended up paying a bit more than requested as a thank you for their prompt and professional service.I will return to this garage. It is family owned and operated and has been open for over 25 years. If you're a local European car owner, new or classic, I highly recommend you give them a call if you're in need of a good mechanic.The definition of the word professional.

I've been coming to Bob and Joey Workman's shop for years for all of my car repairs. Not just my BMW's but my GMC SUV. They are very professional and thorough with their work. Many occasions I've dropped my car off and received a call informing me of what was needed to be repaired prior to the work being done. That to me is number 1 with excellent service. Communication and being well informed. Now that my daily driver is an older BMW E30 I've had Joey do most of its repairs as its a used car I purchased. I trust him 100% since he drives the same car. I'm very lucky to have a shop that knows my car inside and out kind, of like a doctor and a patient! Thanks for all your help!

The work that Volvo Bob did on my car was fantastic, quick, and very reasonably priced. This made the car run like a gem after over two months of trouble with the engine. I would definitely recommend him and his team to any one of my friends!

I discovered Bob's shop over 10 years ago. A few years ago, we moved to the Fallbrook area and it was a bit far, so I tried another "recommended" shop, When I was quoted a $1000 repair from that shop I took the car over to Bob for a second opinion and he said, "No, that's a $250 problem you have!"So, I'm happy to make the drive to Bob's shop for every repair. He's always been good about working with me on keeping things in the realm of affordability as well, by telling me the things that really need to be done now and those things that can wait.I can't recommend more highly! Very friendly! My husband took his car here and while I'm not going to be able to tell you the specifics of the repair (I'm not a car person!) I can say that my hubby was very happy with the repair. His car is definitely running smoother. When I went in with him to pay, the gentleman was very kind and interesting to talk to.

Found Bob's shop listed on Bimmershops. Knew the braking system on my '08 550i needed help and gave them a try. So glad I did. Not only did they professionally deal with the primary problem, in the course of checking out the rest of my car, they discovered two other concerns, one of which is near term and REALLY important. Talented folks who really know what they are doing and love what they do. Thanks gang. Two thumbs up.

I've been taking my Volvos to Bob Workman's shop for over 15 years and won't go anywhere else. There is a wealth of auto expertise between Bob and his staff that is really hard to find. I always recommend people to go to Bob's shop for fair pricing and a friendly atmosphere. A visit to his shop will typically have a mix of Volvos, BMWs, Mercedes Benz and others being worked on. Bob has done all of the mechanical restoration on my 1973 Volvo ES which performs better than new. I look forward to the ongoing superior customer satisfaction as well.

Bob and his mechanics are top notch. I've used this shop for many years for a wide range of cars such as BMW's, Hyundai's and others. He's very honest and will tell you the facts and not try and up sell products that you don't need. Highly recommended!

All the positive reviews you see about Bob Workman's are true!I had my wife's BMW towed to Bob Workman's after it wouldn't start. He diagnosed the problem quickly. There were a few other issues with the car that I didn't mention to Bob. He discovered them and with no pressure let me know what my options were. I found my new BMW mechanic.

I was lucky to find Bob Workman's European Auto Repair. Clean, honest, reasonably priced. What more could anyone ask for when it comes to import auto repair? I highly recommend them, as they solve the problem on my son's 2014 Audi A4.

I have been working with this shop on and off for past 5 yrs nothing but the best service from them ,honest and there very good at what they do won't let anyone work on my BMW but these guys.

Im always impressed by the level of detail, auto work, and genuine level of customer service Bob and his crew provide. Nothing but good things to say, you want someone fair, Bob Workmans European Auto Repair is where youll find it. This is THE BEST auto repair shop in Vista.

I don't want to tell you how good it is here.because I don't want to have to make an appointment weeks out just to have my Vintage Volvo worked on by a dedicated professional, who knows these cars and owns these cars since Soda Pop had Fizz...So go take your BMW's, Volvo's, Mercedes, or what ever other Euro bucket you drive and go to some garage someplace.I will be at Bob Workman's European Auto Repair getting it done correctly the first time.Thank you.

Bob gave an estimate of the work needed and did not overcharge or add work that was unnecessary. The workmanship was absolutely one of the best I have seen. I wish I would have found him sooner. Highly recommended.
