Al & Ed s hooked my truck up with an amp, 10 sub, and new navigation touchscreen and everything is awesome. The sub bumps, the wiring is as clean as you can get (aka you can t see it), and the new CarPlay stuff is awesome. Took them less than a day to get everything done, reasonably affordable and helpful throughout the process.Check these guys out if you re in the north county area.

Johnny and Michael in Vista have been friends of mine for a long time. I've known Johnny since he was a little boy. They make me proud The services phenomenal. And the price is right as well.

Best sound shop you'll ever need to go to. Got my first setup in 2011 and they helped me with picking out great quality speakers within my budget. Moved to San Diego years later and when I needed a new subwoofer( I blew mine out - dumb kid) they hooked me up with something better I could afford and setup the new box and everything. Couple days went by and the sub was smoking. I took it back and they found the issue with the wiring and gave me a brand new sub at no cost. Few years went by and it's now 2021. Having some issues with the sub again and they found the issue fast setup an appt with me 2 days later and fixed the problem at a great price. Michael had helped me everytime I've come in and he and the rest of the employees really know what they're doing. Excellent/friendly service. I drive more than 20 minutes to get to this location but it is 100% worth it. I won't trust my setup anywhere else.

Very knowledgeable and excellent workmanship! I had shopped around and they were fair on their stereo prices. We installed the Alpine 9 touchscreen to replace the factory stereo in my 2017 Highlander. We wanted the ApplePlay capability and this fit the bill. Makes my car feel like a brand new car!

Had John and Mike build out two audio sytems for me, one for a Civic and another for a RAV4. Superior job on both, though the RAV4 had issues due to some properitiary parts by Toyota, but otherwise it came out clean. Sadly I don't live in the area anymore but if I did, any car that I wanted to have a clean audio system that works perfectly each time, talk with these guys.

We needed to have a Furrion backup camera installed on our travel trailer. The dealer we spoke with sold the equipment but didn't perform installations. However, they DID refer us to Al & Ed's Auto Sound and said that they send all their camera installation work to themSo.. We had Al & Ed's install a Furrion backup camera on our travel trailer. And, am I glad we did!The work was done quickly and professionally. And at a very fair price too!The crew here is friendly, helpful and highly skilled. Judging by the business name and a a quick walk through of their store, it's obvious that they lean toward installing stereos and audio equipment, but... trust me, their techs are amazing at camera installations too!

Professional. That s the word that best describes John, Mike, and the rest of the staff at this location. Not only do they know what they re doing, they also make sure that you know what they re doing. They have tons of knowledge and experience, but they aren t like some typical experts who loath your questions and are irritated by your mere presence. They explain things, they ask you questions to figure out what best suites your needs, and they expect you to have questions as well.They are definitely NOT trying to rip you off. They installed a new head unit for me this past Saturday. But due to the poor quality of the original install done by a different shop in Oceanside (that is now out of business for obvious reasons), I was having some issues with one of my door speakers and my 4-channel amp which I had them check for me this afternoon. They fixed the issues, and they could have absolutely charged me for the work. In fact, I was expecting it given the extra effort they ended up having to go through to fix the problems. They chose not to.I will probably be replacing my 4-channel amp sooner rather than later, and I do not plan to even attempt to go anywhere else first when I decide to do so. I will be going straight to Al & Ed s Autosound in Vista.

This is not my first time dealing with Mike and John at Al & Ed's Autosound in Vista. They are very knowledgeable about the products and they will always make sure their work is done right and will back it by a warranty. This shop has everything you would need for audio, and they can do the basic installs to a high end custom work. I trust these guys for my audio needs, I have taken multiple vehicles to have work done here. I am very pleased with this location and I will definitely be back again.

I went in for a consultation on issues that i was having on my 2020 Camaro. Michael said that I needed a tune on a converter that had been previously installed at another location. They took me in after 30 minutes and had them installed a new 10 inch sub and tune the converter. Music now plays like it should. Great work and would recommend to anyone that is looking for a stereo or just upgrade a sub.

Great service! We pulled up, he came out & fixed a bunch of wires that a mechanic pinched, putting the dash back in place. Fair pricing too.

I just had a new head unit put in along with some subwoofers and an amplifier previously purchased years ago, and they have done a stellar installation job. Both John and Mike were extremely courteous and helpful to me and answered every question and concern I had. When I went back to have a cable issue corrected a week later, they installed a bypass switch for me and a bass control knob for my unit and didn't charge me extra. These guys truly care about their customers, and will spend all day making it right if something isn't right. My particular install wasn't an easy one from what I heard, and yet they persisted and got the job done professionally and in a timely manner regardless.This was my second purchasing experience from this store, I had the subs and amp originally installed in another vehicle about 6 years ago and they have continued to do a good job like they always have. Very happy with their assistance and willingness to answer questions and take care of their customers. Will be back most definitely in the near future!

This is not your typical shop where they just sell and install audio equipment. This specific branch has actual talented people at an engineering level whom not only know how to properly install the equipment but they actually fine tune the audio at an engineering level. I visited multiple places before I chose this specific branch and I can tell you 100 billion percent this is the shop you want to go if you want the job done flawlessly and correctly at an engineering level! Thanks Mike & John & Eric, and Team Members. I'm a happy camper!

Michael was nice enough to give me a ride home at the end of the day while they had my Tacoma in for a deck swap. Don't know of any other shops that have this kind of service. Super knowledgeable, was able to come up with a solution for my Acadia Denali that other shops couldn't. Thank you! Recommend to anyone for any car audio needs.

John was very helpful in finding me a stereo that fitted my "old school" needs for a head unit that had all the features I wanted. Was able to get me in & out of their very quickly & at a reasonable price. Would STRONGLY recommend Al n Ed's for your stereo & aftermarket needs.

Got a quote for over $800 for a new deck, and state of art sounds with Bluetooth... Wow... I'm sure it would have sounded nice, but too rich for my blood. I'll give four out of five stars for not making me wait at least.

Some of my speakers weren't working so I stopped in to see if they could find the problem. Dave did some tests and figured out in about 5 minutes that I had a bad channel in my amp. Instead of trying to sell me a new amp, he spliced some wires so that all the speakers worked! Dave clearly knew exactly what he was doing and he's a nice, cool guy too...and they didn't even charge me. They definitely won me as a customer today. If I ever need car stereo service again, I will definitely be back. Thanks!

Thw place is easy to find, and parking was no problem. I wanted to have a dash cam hard wired, so I went in for an the estimate. The gentleman at the storefront came out too see the truck. I explained thar I had already run the wiring to the inside fuse box for the DashCam , and just wanted the final connection to an existing fuse slot That was not used. He explained how difficult the job would be, that he had to remove the whole panel and solder behind it. the slightest mistake would disable the vehicle!, and I would need to take to the dealer. He estimated that this would require 1 1/2 hours to 2 to complete, and the cost would be several hundred dollars.I drove the car to North County Mobil electronics, who told me since I had already run the wires to the fuse box, they just needed to be connected to an unused fuse slot. He estimated this would take less than ten minutes to do so he would charge me $10 for the work. when I told him of what AL & Ed"s told me he jus shook his head and smiled.I'm not sure how AL & Eds have gotten so many positive reviews, because I saw no evidence of fair pricing and a concern for customer care. Their only goal apparently was departing me from my cash Buyer beware!

Great value for excellent craftsmanship. Had my windows tinted on my Mercedes SLK with excellent results. Would recommend and definitely return for future services.

Over the last decade I have had 4 different cars in there shop here in Vista and all 4 times I was more then pleased by the quality of work they do I will always bring my vehicle's to them if I want to upgrade they are very professional and very reasonable for the quality of work they do

May cost a little bit more then doing yourself but their quality is excellent! Very happy with the outcome, nice and friendly staff, great selection of product, great prices, I have no complaints! Definitely will be back soon for more work!!

My customized '66 bug convertible has a $2300 Alpine stereo that quit working. Lights but no sound. I checked the fuses and looked for obvious broken wires, but that's about the extent of my expertise. I took it in expecting the worst, and sure enough, neither the main Fosgate amp or the amp in the subwoofer were working--both dead at the same time. Seemed strange, but I was prepared for the worst. After bench checking both amps they determined they were still good. Even though the fuse was not blown, it turned out a 95-cent fuse holder had gone bad. They could have hit me up for two new amps but were totally honest about the small part that was really at fault. I would trust them with my car stereo system in the future. Trusted sources are hard to find these days, but these are good people. They turned this around in one day too.

Added Alpine receiver, speakers, microphone and backup camera to my Porsche Boxster. Everything works perfectly. Great install.

Super great place! Installed my security system and sound system same day. Did not try and over sell me got me exactly what I asked for and explained everything in great detail. Highly recommend
