Niko is a great mechanic and honest. He did right by me and the cost was beyond fair. He really cares about his customers and what they think of his work. He takes pride in it. I will continue to bring my Hondas to him in the future.

Had a cracked radiator, stopped in over heating. Nikko said he would take a look at it and call me with an estimate in an hour. He called sooner then I expected and replace radiator that same day with great service!

Let me start by saying I was in both the car and the motorcycle business. I know there are a wide variety of experiences you can have when taking your car to get it serviced or repaired. At a new car dealership you deal with a Service Writer who may try to sell you service you do not need and at independent shops you may find people who use the cheapest parts to up their profit margin. Frankly....for me, finding a good mechanic is like finding a good primary care doctor.I have a 2016 Acura MDX that is still under warranty. The car's computer system tells you when the car needs to be serviced. These systems are designed by the builder...the same people who warranty the car. Suffice it to say, they do not want the car to break under warranty and have to pay for the work so the maintenance minder probably falls on the side of caution. That said, every time I go to an Acura dealership they try to sell me very expensive service the car itself says it does not need. Of course they do give me free coffee and a car wash......Anyway....my Acura was telling me I needed servicing and I was just not up to listening to another Acura Service Writer try to up sell me so when I saw the reviews I decided to check out S&R Acura and Honda Service.When I met Nico the owner, I found he was very knowledgeable about my highly complicated all wheel drive Acura. I told him what I thought the car needed. He told me some of the work needed to be done now and some did not need to be done now and it would be a waste of my money to do it. WAIT....a mechanic telling me not to spend money?! The next thing he told me is he believed in using only top quality parts/fluids for my Acura because of the quality of the car. As I left I asked hims to check out the whole car and tell me what it needed. He said he would give me a list of stuff he would do if it was his car.When I returned Nico gave me a detailed description of what he had done. He even showed me videos of the fluid being emptied from both differentials. When all was said and done Nico charged me about 1/3 less than Acura would have charged me and recommended no further work be done. Now, I did not get to sit in a fancy waiting room, there was no coffee and my car was not washed, but I saved around $130 bucks off Acura's prices by taking it to Nico. Money well spent.I have my new preferred mechanic and would highly recommend him. Evidently other people feel the same way because he was very busy.

Highly recommend Acura and Honda Independent Services because of their great customer service and amazing deals! I had an issue with my Honda Civic so I brought it here, and Niko the mechanic worked on it right away. The employees are very friendly and willing to go the extra mile.

Professional and fast above all honest. Fixed what it need and nothing else. Recommended services but never felt pressured. Highly recommended.

Great experience in every way: excellent work done on time and true to estimate, friendly and knowledgeable technicians and customer service, conveniently located near freeway and public transportation. I'll be coming here for all my service needs from here on out.

Awesome experiance and timely repair. Got my car back on the road ahead of anticipated schedule. No attempts to sell me services that I didn't need. I've found my new repair facility.
