I have been looking for an obsolete part for my Ford Mustang for the past two years. A parts person at Keller Ford in Hanford looked up the parts number and called Darren at Help Smog Parts, who told him he could have the part in a week. I called this Darren and he yelled at me for having the wrong part numbers. I told him I just got these numbers from Ford and have been trying to find this part through other shops for two years. He went on a rant saying basically, of course you can't find it because you have the wrong numbers and don't know what you're talking about. I thanked him for his help and hung up. Isn't that why you go to "specialists," to get help finding rare parts? My first thought was that he was drunk and belligerent, but reading other reviews, I see this is his normal behavior and has treated others even worse. It's pretty stunning that someone like this, who deals with people as part of his job, even exists. I hope these reviews warn people to stay away from this despicable human being.

HORRIBLE. MY first 1 star review. This guy is way out of line and hangs up me. I will go to the end of the earth not to buy from this guy and would recommend nobody else does. Have supporting him for years, but he is smoking his own and can't do it any longer. be aware.....Run don't walk.

They are absolutely amazing and helpful! I was able to get a smog part for my truck that the dealer and parts stores all said was discontinued and were unable to get any where in the US. I called help smog and within 5 minutes had the part I needed on it's way. So happy to have found them.

This Guy may be all knowing and gifted in many ways but he was just rude to me for no good reason when I asked him for help with an aftermarket choke tube kit that I paid him $85.40 even after I said the kit was not a factory part he said. "Nobody has ever had an issue with it" and I was just not skilled enough to do the job. I stated the silicon hose was the wrong size and it is he snapped and said just return it ! I ask him to have a nice day and I hope better service toward his next customer

This is a horrible business terrible customer service. I got hung up on a gotta ignore they don't care about you or your vehicle, they're out for money and super greedy.

Used a few time for parts no one else had. If you cross Daren once good luck trying to work with him.

Darren is extremely rude. I wish there was a Zero star. Wish i had something positive here , But I don't . Hopefully this helps anyone thinking about buying his parts !

Went in to get a part the guy there acted like he was doing something wrong was very rude ended up telling me that he wasn't even going to sell me the part I will never go back there again ended up getting the part I needed for half the price he quoted it somewhere else

Knowledgeable and friendly employees, and a great source for rare parts. This place was recommended by a local smog shop, and a couple of auto parts stores here in Lemoore.
