This store has been a local establishment for thirty years. Its a very nice "not just a stereo store*. They install, service and repair auto stereos as well as burglar alarms, rims etc. The prices are competitive. They have a comfortable waiting area. Parking is available. The service is welcoming and knowledgeable.

Let me just start off by saying they know what they're working with! Amir, the salesman was able to provide me with all details of my Acumen XR10 Plus, and features. After installation, which took only an hour and thirty minutes. Amir gave me a walk through of how it works and made sure I left with no questions. Before installing this camera, I had CERAMIC tinted windows added onto my windows. I had 15% done in the front, 5% done in the rear including rear windshield. Installation was solid, was smooth; and looked amazing. The heat absorption really does well. Amir and his work crew did an amazing job to say the least, from awesome service, to great hospitality considering I waited at the shop for my tints, and overall service is phenomenal. Would definitely recommend and refer my friends to this shop. Tints look solid, and the dash cam installation was installed flush. Dashcam works wells and they always offer help with anything. Thank you Amir and Planet Stereo!

Got ripped off. Got a 4 channel amp 400 watts bought and installed by them and they charged me $500. Without looking at the price i agreed (thats my fault). Looked up the price of the amp and it goes for $100-$120

Really good place. They have tons of car audio equipment on-hand (as well as other car stuff).I walked in and explained what I wanted, and they suggested the gear I needed for that. Got an Android Auto stereo and some speakers for my 2008 Tahoe. The prices aren't bad too - when I was given the price I asked, "How much does it cost if I want to have you guys install it?" and the guy said "That price already includes that" - not too bad.Definitely coming back when I decide to install a subwoofer and a backup camera in my car.

I got ripped off here! Their merchandise, prices and installation is overpriced...-> Go to Audio Experts 1057 N Hacienda Blvd LA Puente ca 91744. If you want great products, that are fair, reasonably and great quality GO TO "CAR AUDIO EXPERTS"...

As a busy, single mom, this review was delayed until I found the time to visit a junkyard and install my own dash (with the help of my cousin). While I am grateful to now know how to install a dash cover/a.c. vents, I was very displeased with the installation of my car stereo from planet stereo. Very disappointing considering that the man at the register seemed very kind and we talked a lot of the time that the other guy was installing it. I even tipped the man who installed it even though the plate was broken. I didn't realize how broken right away and they told me it was easy to go to a pick a part and just replace it.I was trying to go to a "mom and pop shop" rather than a big store to support the city of Covina and ended up just being rubbed the wrong way by the outcome.On a recent trip to Nevada, my dash finally wasn't holding anymore and so I went to a pick n pull and took the plate out of an old Toyota as I needed the air conditioning for the high heat.The photos are how my dash looked after the installation. Prior there were no issues. Sad that i can't even trust some small businesses anymore.

When I called to get a radio that I have bought elsewhere to get it installed here, I told them what kind it was, like it had Android Auto and Apple Car play, they quoted me over the phone $120 and that it would take 45 mins to install. I had my dad took my car and radio as I worked that on another day, and they told him that it's not a standatd radio and it would take 3 to 4 hours and it would cost $180. They have told my dad they have the best price and no one is going to go lower than them.I hoped to give them a chance and do business with them, but they blew it and I won't be going here. I am just being honest.

Was having trouble getting my Kenwood in-dash touchscreen to turn on in my 4Runner. Gilbert and David were able to get everything working. It was a fair price and everything was communicated to me clearly. Definitely recommend, these guys know what they re doing.

First and Foremost, I want to Say Thank You to Gilbert. He helped me have a crisp feel and sound with the Stereo Head Set and Speakers with Amp and Subwoofer. Also with the knowledge of sound and equipment, makes me feel like you get what you paid your money's worth. Thank you for your professionalism and expertise in the Audio Car Stereo Sound System.

Gilbert was super helpful. I called beforehand to get an estimate on replacing my cars original stereo to one that was touch screen and had Apple play. Once I walked in he was nothing but helpful. Really took the time to explain what I was getting and buying. Did an amazing job and it looks like it came with the car. Really recommend this place !!

I came back on Monday February 27,2023. I came back to get ceramic tint plus. I also purchased one channel Amp from kenwood and 10 inch subwoofer. AJ was awesome great customer service plus he gave great price that. I can't refuse. I was wait at store getting everything installed.

This place is okay if you want to pay extra for equipment and their mistakes.Have brought three cars here for tint and some sort of audio improvement.I got an okay deal in person but the price was different everytime from when I would call in advance.I never just show up, I want a price range and it changes by a couple hundred if your not paying attention even with the same equipment I had asked about over the phone. The selection of equipment is nice but if anything goes wrong they expect you to pay for their mistakes.My tint had bubbles and they charged me to change it but I only got it a year ago max. My other car I got tinted closer to home and same problem, but no fee. Had my receipt for both. His explanation was, "the workers gotta get paid too.."So take advantage of the customers with your mistakes to pay your employees?I had a problem with my battery when the touchscreen turned on and I called to ask if they can check it out and they said I would need to leave it all day and I would need to pay if they found something not working.....Over time this business became money thirsty.

My brother recommended this place to me and boy was he right. I came to get a stereo installed and they definitely took care of all my needs and concerns, plus some. The customer service here is excellent no long waits they took me as a walk in and installation was fast. I felt very comfortable and in good hands with both Gilbert and my technician i will definitely be coming back here soon with my other vehicles. If you need work done on your car stereo etc... even just a question or just information i would definetly recommend Planet Stereo to you.

I went here to get a new radio installed in which I had a factory Toyota Camry radio so no Bluetooth and let me tell you if you come here they will take care of you well. Ali and Amir s customer service was amazing and I am truly satisfied with this installment and purchase. If you want to be taken care of well and insure your money isn t going to waste, come to Planet Stereo I will definitely be telling my friends and family about this place!!! I want to come back soon for my tint as well. This place is amazing.

Buyer beware garbage customer service I called to price a subwoofer box was told one price on the phone and when i.got there was told another price a higher price and they acted like I was bothering them to.work just that interaction I will never step foot in this place they lost a lot of potential business from me. Potentially hundreds of thousands of dollars but there loss and I'm gonna make sure I put the word out don't shop there

First time for me here, i called over the phone and spoke to Jay. Let him know what i was looking for. Soon enough went in Sat. Got a great deal for a reasonable price. He was very knowledgeable about all his products. I felt welcomed, friendly environment with no pressure on making a purchase that same day. I left satisfied and will be coming back for my next upgrade. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to bump up their sound system!

It was a bit pricey for a 400 watt amp, amp kit, and installation, but it was professionally installed. It also took longer than they said, but the man installing it was honest and did save me a little cash. All in all I will go back. I recommend.

They have a great selection of amps and speakers great to walk in and check it out end up buying a amplifier for a car a little on expensive side but not much more in some of the sites on the internet the good thing is I got it now instead of waiting for 5 days for it to come

Haven t been here in years due to living in Pasadena. After visiting several shops in my area and being disappointed with the selection I made the trek out to Planet Stereo. I should have done this first! Walk in with my 2year old and instantly greeted. The staff where happy to help and, at first I did, leave you alone to wander the store. After getting the lay of the land I asked for advice for the setup I was looking to add to my F350. Staff was very knowledgeable and showed me the stuff that I was into while comparing it to other styles and brands. No pressure to buy more expensive toys, I d actually say they where happy to sell me what I wanted. Answered all my questions and weren t coy when a question asked to them needed a question answered by me back.This is a full service shop. Stereos, speakers, subs, amps, enclosures, mounts, wheels, tires, truck/ATVs lifts and lowers, if you want sound with what you re doing they can make it happen. Will be coming back to flush out my truck

I was stuck between two radios and thankfully Gilbert was able to give me two separate price quotes so I could make the decision that was best for me. Once I chose the radio I wanted, the staff were super friendly and efficient. It looks great and they even gave me a quick tutorial on how to use my fancy new radio before I departed. For the first time since I've had my car, I finally got to play music, have a radio, and gps! Super happy and grateful!

Just called Planet Stereo about a problem with my in-car radio. Technician Gilbert was able to talk me through the fix. Thanks guys, saved me a trip to another stereo shop outside of California!
