Just Finished up some work at JSR Engines and I have to say hands down best experience I've had with a shop. From booking, to the price of labor, and the quality of the work it was all around great. Took my Type R in for a fuel system upgrade and a tune and I couldn't be happier. I trailered my car all the way from WA and it's the best decision I've made for the car. The car drives the best it's ever driven and really moves! Thank you to both Jake's. Highly recommend performance shop!

These guys have been nothing but amazing to me and my car for close to two years now. They have done all of my installs from flex fuel to my downpipe without any issues at all. All while being welcoming and friendly. I literally refuse to let any other shop do anything to my car. Even though I live 50 miles away I will still always go to JSR for all my fk8 needs but not just for car it s always a hangout at this shop it makes you just wanna wait with your car and hangout with everyone and that s something you most definitely don t find everywhere.Seriously thank you guys for everything you got yourself a lifetime customer!

Went in for a few parts to get installed and get car tuned on the dyno. Was very pleased with the results. Family owned business that is Very friendly, knowledgeable, kind and genuine. It was a full days worth of work and their hospitality was one of a kind, offering drinks, donuts and burgers throughout the day as if I was one of the family. The stay there was not dull either they let me hangout and talk shop with them, was allowed to checkout stuff on the car as they did their work installing everything. I definitely will be going back again in the near future for more modifications to be done, if your looking for a tuner or someone you can trust to do great work on your Honda look no further JSR Engines is the one you want and the one your car deserves !

Drove 6 hours just to get my FL5 in to get tuned with the best! We had a bunch of issues from boost leaks, thinking the waste gate was bad, to finding out the p700 was defective from factory. They quickly fixed all the boost leak issues calibrated the waste gate and were able to get me a new p600 v2 turbo in a blink of an eye. Amazing shop, Top tier customer service and great people in general and best part It's a family owned business! Definitely will be having them service and work on my car in the future. Thanks for all the help and definitely going to be a lifetime customer!

Hands down the most trustworthy & professional shop, it all started with a valve adjustment on my Rsx Jake & his son are honestly the best always honest with me since day one. Also did my head package on my k20/k24 build they did an outstanding job & made great power shout out too them #JSRarmy

10/10 service!! I drove over 5 hours to JSR to have some parts installed and my car dyno tuned. Both Jake and his son went above and beyond to take care of me and made sure i was completely satisfied with the results. Would highly recommend this shop for your Honda needs!

One of the best Honda/Acura shops in socal. They have worked on my 2019 Honda Accord 2.0t and my 2019 Honda Civic type R. Which is one of the fastest type R in SoCal. It is a family owned business With integrity the Owner and his son pretty much run the shop Very knowledgeable. If you guys are looking to tuned and dyno you car and Upgrade your cars Performance. Definitely recommend

Can t thank the guys over at JSR enough man! They always keep my Type r running right from helping do diagnostics to helping me source parts and do the installs. No other shop is certified literal one stop shop! If your looking for a shop to do work on your FK8 / FL5 this is the place they treat you like family no one does it better

Man I d like to say that I had a great experience with the help of Jacob! We was ready to answer my questions and educate me along the process! My car definitely runs whole lot better and no problems since reaching out to JSR 10/10 I recommend

First of all JSR Engines has been very professional, super helpful , understanding especially when I had problems with my car, these guys know the platform very well ,since 2017 , I bought there fuel system kit with the tuner services ,all I can say is WOW ! My car perform super well , they respond back in timely manner, just gotta know they run a shop so they do get busy and just gotta have patience, I highly recommend them for parts and tuning service , I will keep going to them for any advice on the car and of course parts , in my eye , there a 5star and beyond

Came in for a aftermarket turbo install with tune a couple months back and they completely nailed it! Very respectful, knowledgeable and passionate in what they do. If there is anything wrong or have concerns they don t hesitate and will help you until it is fixed. I ve learned a lot about my car from being around and watching them work on many cars. if you have any questions about builds you wanna do with your Honda they got you.Can t wait to go back soon for a new big turbo/port injection setup!

If you re looking for a shop to get you in and do the job done right and fast these are the people to do it. They spent the extra hours to make sure everything was working properly and exceeded the goals i had for my Accord 2.0t. Transparent and very hospitable also kept me in the loop with any issues and provided solutions that worked. I drove 5 1/2 hours to test them out and they do not disappoint drove back without a single issue. Couldn t have asked for better service. If your around the area it is a NO BRAINER and even if you aren t, you will not be disappointed i would do the drive again and plan too whenever i decide to work on my car again, this will definitely be the shop to do it. Don t do the job twice have them do it right the first time.

This is my third time going to JSR for my 2019 Civic Type R. The owner Jake and his son Jake (Jr.) are kind people and very knowledgeable about Civic Type R s and cars in general. They literally specialize in Type R s.I recently took my car in for maintenance: they installed new brake pads and also did a transmission fluid flush as well. The other two times I went to JSR:1) To buy an intake from them2) To get my PRL Intercooler installedIf you have an FK8 or FL5, I highly recommend going to JSR for your Type R needs whether it be buying parts, installing performing parts, tuning your car, or even regular maintenance that you wouldn t want the dealership doing/too lazy to do yourself.

Came in for parts install and tune, left with a smile on my face bigger than when I first bought the car. Highly competent shop and exceptional customer service. They set up a table for me so I could work from my laptop while they worked on the car and even brought me food, why go anywhere else?

I got all my work done by these guys and every single time it was a pleasure. The car has been tuned for over 20k miles and it runs perfect. Highly recommend this shop for any Honda owner especially fk8 type R. They are type R gurus !

First rate service and awesome work on the installation of the P700 Turbo, Flex Fuel kit, and JSR Fuel System upgrade on my car. Will definitely go back again. These guys know what they re doing. The proof is in the horsepower

I have a 2018 Honda Accord Touring and I drove up from San Diego to have the new FL5 Type R turbo installed along with some supporting mods. All I can say is JSR is a first class family ran operation! They did the install and tune on my car flawlessly. They are very knowledgeable with Accords. Type Rs and the other Hondas we all love. Completely transformed the car and the love I have for my Accord has never been better! I d give em another star if I could! Not many shops left that check all the boxes, but JSR 100% did just that and more. I ve been in the car game for over 25yrs. We pay to go fast, but the experience isn t always pleasant from other shops. If you ve got a Honda, take it here. This is a boutique shop that treats your car with love and care. I m a customer for life. It s a pleasure to know Jake and his son along with the folks I met while at the shop. These guys are the real deal. Tuning portion was 100% spot on as well.

These guys are amazing! They really know what they are doing. They are welcoming and treat you like family. I recently went here to get my head gasket repaired and they did a real good job at it. Everytime i have an issue with my car I will go here to get it fixed. Highly recommend this shop! You won t regret it. #JSRftw

Precision, expert advice, rapid turnovers, straight forward no beat around the bush type shop. Extremely knowledgeable in all Honda platforms, whether you want healthy stock, mild build, wild build, full track they got what you need to get where you want to be. My 2021 FK8 only gets hands on by JSREngines in W. Covina, I seen many builds by them producing healthy and Happy results with consistency.

JSR is a for sure go to shop for tuning and parts. Very knowledgeable and great customer service. Scheduled a tune with Jake and he was able to work around my schedule and the bad weather in my area, as soon as the weather cleared up we started the tuning process. At the beginning of the tune Jake made sure everything was looking good on the logs before he started turning things up. Everything went real smooth while tuning and the ending results were amazing. SMILES PER GALLON . Jake got the car running like it should be with all the parts I have installed. He walked me through the final datalog to show me that the tune was safe and smooth. I highly recommend JSR for tuning services. Thanks Jake for your patience and awesome tune.

I originally came to Jsr for a turbo upgrade install and tune. I didn t have everything I needed for my turbo install, the guy I bought the type r turbo from didn t tell me he snagged some hardware from it. Not only did JSR drive themselves to the Honda dealership to get me what I needed but they also used a part from their own personal turbo they had lying around. I wanted to make more power and they led me in the right direction and answered all my questions even if some were dumb in my opinion they never were condescending. In fact they almost seemed excited to share their knowledge and after some time they became like family.

Took both My 2012 civic si and my wife's 2013 civic LX to JSR to get the the spark plugs and valve adjustments done and was not disappointed. The difference it made was night and day cars felt like the day they drove off the lot got my power back and better MPG. Jake and his team are very knowledgeable and professional I highly recommend to anyone looking to get work done to check then out you won't be disappointed.

If you have a Honda/Acura these are the guys to go to! I can t recommend them enough! They ve been working on them for as long as they can remember. I ve had zero complaints or gripes with them or their work. Jake is a true professional in his craft and takes his work seriously. A perfect blend of professionalism and passion. This guy is the man. Took time out of his Sunday to tune my car after many problems that I caused and Was going through with the car. Helped me late night. And made sure the car was tuned like it was his. His response time is the best out of any tuner in this game. I ve spent months sending back to back text to tuners with no response. He responded same day. Only choice
