I had taken my 2008 Honda Accord to the local Honda dealership and they wanted a lot of money to fix the car, more money than the car was worth. It has over 150,000 miles on it. I had Jack inspect the car and he quoted me about half that price, so I had him do the work. The car has been driving excellent ever since. I highly recommend his services. He saved me from having to buy another car. The entire staff was also very professional.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Auto engine diagnostic, Brake service & repair, Oil change

Love family businesses, especially local businesses. Thankful for another experience with a heart felt interaction. I purchased a small utility truck here which they rebuilt, In which with I am very satisfied with that runs great and has exceptional gas mileage. I was so satisfied that I purchased a second vehicle that was also repaired or restored and is also a excellent purchase I have met the whole family and love how they work together amazing people God bless.

I ve been coming here for over a decade. Prices are reasonable and they always make sure to talk to you about any issues they found, walk you through your options, prices and if you agree they take care of it. They even got a nice lobby for you to wait too. They keep my 2013 Civic with 90k miles running like a champ and take care of my 2020 CRV too. I no longer live in the area but I gladly drive 20 miles to see Jack and his team at Horizon.

My family has been coming to HORIZON AUTOMOTIVE for over 30 years, and the one thing that has always been consistent and constant is the excellent, dependable repair work they have always done on our family cars! The service has always been outstanding, with reasonable prices. AMANDA, ANDREA, & JACK, always provide excellent customer service, where they try to get the vehicle done as quickly as possible, and they never push unnecessary repairs on the customer! If you want a honest, dependable car repair shop, then go to HORIZON AUTOMOTIVE IN COVINA, CA.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!! IT IS NOW RUN BY TEENAGERS! unfortunately, Jack is not working anymore and is sick (the young guy said). The girls at the front desk don't understand customer service. My parents and family were coming here for years. Never again! They tried to say our old Honda had suspension issues and offer me $500. These kids need to stop working and ripping people off!

I took my civic in to get a tune up and was not happy with the results. About 5 miles down the road I noticed my car started to sputter and misfire. Turns our my spark plugs weren't all tighten especially number 4. My wires weren't changed because I still had the date I marked on them from they were last changed after stating that they needed to be changed. My serpentine belt came loose after I had asked for the pully to be tightened. Elijah was the tech that worked on my car and was a yes man to make everything sound fine.

This shop has kept my 04 Honda Accord on the road.. it needs a paint job but it runs like a champ!

I was very pleased with the whole process. From my first contact to price out the service needed for my car to the communication throughout and the drop off and pick up. All very smooth and i knew what to expect as i was kept in the loop throughout the day. I would definitely be back if needed.

Horizon is family-runned & reliably customer service based. Jack is the owner and will ensure your car is taken care of. Horizon is dependable, reliable & always customer friendly. I've been using since 2006 when I bought my Acura TL. I trust Horizon over the dealer.

Jack and his team always do the best to get me back on the road. He has serviced my Hondas and Toyotas and are usually done the same day. I had to replace my entire engine on a used car I purchased and it is running great! His attention to detail and good attitude from him and his team make for a great experience.

They do great work and aren't pushy. Most places will give you a laundry list of things that is wrong with your car and heavily guilt you into getting all the work done right then and there with higher rates. The team at Horizon will let you know what you need done and how much (reasonable and fair pricing), but will never make you feel like you have to get it done immediately.

Do not take your car here! They took advantage of my daughter! They charged her $400 and Did NOT fix the problem! They are not honest people!

My father in law recomend this place they do great work. I took my van in for brakes and they let me know that my bushings were wore out and recommended that I replace the back brakes as well and now my van rides smooth and stops on a dime. I highly recommend this place!

I've been coming here for over a year and they are great with my car! I trust them whole heartedly. If additional work needs to be done then they will let you know before work is done. I'm a Rideshare driver so I feel confident with the work. Customer service is also excellent!

We used Horizon for years, before moving out of state. Our daughter recently had car problem. I referred her to Horizon, who found the problem and fixed other issues with car and now it's running great. They are reliable and honest with work and costs, same as when I needed work when in California. My daughter will continue to have them service her car and will refer friends.

My grandfather has been going to this place for 25+ years and I take my car there as well but the new ownership (AKA) Jack not so much great at customer service I walked in waiting to be helped and he sees that I m just standing there and refuses to acknowledge me. Another time I came because my battery light was on, jack told me it was my transmission not my battery so they replaced the transmission and they call me saying my car is ready for pick up and when i get there my car doesn t start. Takes it back and jack told one of the mechanics to change the battery that it s no good. So I just lost my complete trust over this place and all the mechanics. Only decent person there is Andy always so helpful and honest. Sorry Richard for this review but this place is going downhill.

Was visiting covina area on vacation from Utah and our car developed a transmission leak. They were able to replace my cv axle and replace the seal quick and got me on the road. I called the number before buisness hours and they answered scheduled me in and called the mechanic to come in early. With me being at their mercy they still treated me fair and prices were excellent.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Transmission repair

There average to over average on price but always above and beyond for customer service and fast service. You have a vehicle issue small to mayor this shop handle to work fast and doesn t keep the car for long time.

Dropped off my car @ 9:00 AM just for a regular oil change. Was told it was going take at least 3 and half hours to be done. Came back a little bit after 12:30 and my car wasn t even touched. Waited additional hour and still my car wasn t started on, so i just left. It s been like that the past few times I went. Definitely not coming back being a valued customer for almost 10 years.

Thank you Jack and Horizon HondaTeam for the quality of service and prompt care. My car needed a transmission fluid change and you effectively did it in an hour and a half! Aside from that, the price was reasonable and accomodating. Will refer clients to you.Thanks.

Be careful, I just found out they do not use Honda OEM parts. I took my 2009 Accord there twice last year. The first was because one of the coils went bad and the engine misfired. They recommended I replace all six, which I agreed. The car was repaired and one week later the same problem resurfaced. I returned the car and they fished on diagnosing the problem and a couple of other issues were supposedly repaired. No more than 5 months later (yesterday) driving home from work the original problem resurfaced. The motor was running rough and the engine light turned on. I made it home and this morning (Wednesday 3/6) I took my car to Norm Reeves Honda in West Covina. I should have done this the very first time. Norm reeves diagnosed the problem to be the same coil. The same exact coil that caused the original issue and replaced by Horizon-Acura. I was also told the coils Horizon Honda installed were after market. At no time was I told this and quite frankly paid OEM prices. I rarely post any comments, but felt that this was my duty to warn others. Paying less is not always better. I dealt with Jack at Verizon Honda -Acura. I am considering legal action against Horizon Honda-Acura for the poor repairs. Be careful!!!!!!

Horizon Honda is the best!!!! The guys are great very friendly and helpful. They will repair you car for half the price of the dealers using the same parts. Go to Horizon Honda awesome work great prices!!!

Owner jack is a child, he is rude and impolite when not given his way. I would suggest going anywhere but here. I agree with the other post on here that jack needs anger management.

Always a pleasure doing business with Horizon I've been taking my vehicles since 2000 and I have to say that they are always honest and there is sugarcoating with them I highly recommend you take your to horizon
