This place is awesome, my car has been in for awhile now. Not their fault, it is what it is and they have made it easier to handle with their excellent service and constant communication keeping advised as to what is going on.

Love coming here. The cashier Matt is hilarious but we re pretty rowdy customers but I m glad he can crack a joke or two with us when we come. Nice model nice option of new cars but the employees have poor communication, poor coordination among themselves. Parts are not always available. Consider carefully before getting yourself a new car.

Great dealership. Our sales person was Kevin Miller. Fantastically guy. Personable, honest, very knowledgeable about the product, not pushy, and fully transparent. We did experience a few service breakdowns, but the dealership assured us they would do whatever it takes to make it right and they did. In my opinion great customer service is all in how these opportunities are handled and they handled them perfectly. We re thinking about getting a car for our daughter in the next few years and we ve already decided based on our customer experience and our experience with our new Kia that we ll be coming back here.As for our new Kia, the more I drive it the more I fall in love with it. It looks great, drives greats and feels great. These cars are thoughtfully designed. They re visually appealing, inside and out, have great technology features and great warranties. If you re considering a new car you should test drive a Kia before you buy a different brand. And if you want to enjoy exploring a car without feeling like a antelope on the Serengeti go to this dealership.

There appears to be poor communication between the Service and Parts Department which can ultimately affect the customer. We recently took our Kia Soul to have some work done and therefore had to get a rental because we have one car. We were informed on 08/11 that the a part was ordered and that it would arrive the following Monday or Tuesday. With anticipated delivery date we extended the time needed for the rental for the Wednesday of the same week. When we called the Service Department on the status of our car we were told that the part had not arrived. When questioned about an ETA, it was made clear that they were going based on whatever information the Parts Department was telling them and they had no way of knowing for certain when the part would arrive. In that same breath, we were told they've had cars on their lot for two months waiting for parts and still don't know when they would arrive or where they were coming from. So my question to whomever is running this business. Why does the Parts Department only capability to provide updates? Your people shouldn't have to rely on one department and give customers unconfirmed information. They should be given the capability to verify the status of an order via tracking number or by reaching out to the distributor if the Parts Department unable provide such information. Telling a customer that they have no choice but to rely on what someone else tells them is unacceptable and frankly not customer service oriented. My hope is that whomever reads this review will take it as a lessons learned and to seek other means of providing customers with confirmed information and not speculation.

Went for an oil change. Service was quick, but being the dealership, they try to sell you every service under the sun. Overall, decent service is just overpriced.

Adam and Matt were extremely welcoming and accommodating. I walked in for an unscheduled oil change and they still provided top notch service. I could tell they were extremely busy (appointments are weeks out) but they never let it show as they were so friendly! Service was way better than I used to receive at BMW and Mercedes auto dealerships. Because of their excellent customer service skills, I m a huge fan of this dealership.Service: Oil change

Service was great and quick. I was in for maintenance and waited for about an 1 hour and a half. It would ve been a five star rating but they made me go back a second time to check something out even though I was good to go. Overall, I got what I needed and didn t wait too long.

I really appreciate the honesty from our service rep Adam. All together I would definitely go there for other services if the prices were more reasonable. For current issues with the vehicle that are under warranty most definitely. The time frame from when I drop off too pick up is great no issues there. Took my car in for a Recall update. Everything went well and my car was given back to me at the scheduled completion time. They also checked my vehicle and gave me some other repairs that need to be done. They also washed and cleaned inside my vehicle, very nice. Great customer service and everyone in service was very nice. I will go back to get other repairs done.

I took daughter s Forte in due to the battery dying and requiring a jump. Despite the jump the battery still showed critical in levels. I took it in to Covina Valley Kia and was assisted by Adam. Adam heard my concerns, being that it s my young daughter s car and she s only been driving for a month, I was worried she would be stranded. Adam shared my concerns and did a thorough inspection and found nothing wrong as the battery continued to test positively and no longer at critical levels. Based on this assessment, the car was good to go but Adam recommended I leave it overnight to retest several times as a safeguard due to my daughter s young age and limited experience and to avoid her being stranded. The car was fine and was picked up the next morning. His level of care and service really resonated with me as he shared my concerns and perfectly understood the situation. He was in constant contact with me throughout and that really showed a superior level of customer service and care. Although he was off the next day he ensured the person who took over the next day followed up and continued the same service he provided. My only complaint was that I was told by the person I spoke to in the morning that the car would be washed so I waited an extra 30 minutes for this alone yet it wasn t washed. No big deal as I did not take it in for a car wash. Major kudos to Kia of Covina Valley, especially Adam. Thank you so much for your level of care and service. Thank you Adam! Had a great experience with having my vehicle serviced at Kia of Covina Mike Connelly helped get my Sorento back into shape and fixed. My car was not completed ad promised due to clips damaged ao Mike gave me a courtesy call to let me know it would be another day in shop and had me out before closing on a Saturday. Thanks Mike, your diligence keeps me coming back. Great looking out for my interests.

To be honest, trying to schedule an appointment online was a hassle. I made several appointments online but did not receive any calls from a service advisor. So with the last appointment I just showed up to the dealership. Upon arrival I was told there was no appointment for me, but Jonathan looked up and found me the next available appointment. He was great! Made sure I received the text about my appointment and when I came back for my appointment it was the best experience. My vehicle lease is ending this month. Have gone down there twice to do my lease purchase. Both times have had issues with the idea that they need to do a vehicle inspection in order for me to purchase my own vehicle from them. They attempted to charge me $605 to perform an oil change, air filter change, and battery swap, all of which, is no where near that price range nor were they required for my vehicle as I have already changed and serviced these things myself. Went back and forth with the sales associate, inspection tech, and sales manager and had poor conversations with each as they were unprofessional and dismissive. The sales associate repeatedly told me he was just the messenger and there was nothing he could do, then proceeded to tell me that at least they washed your car and that car washes are expensive when come to find out, they had never washed my vehicle at all. In total I ve spent about 4 hours between the two days and have wasted my time both days.Service: Vehicle Inspection

Went here for years but the last time I went in May I was told I needed to replace a cv boot on the left side of my car and replace my rear brakes. Lexi Hunt told me she had the cv boot ordered so I could come back and have it replaced the following week. Called three separate times to check on the status of the part and was told three times that they would call me when it arrived. Never received a call or an update. Brought my car to a different auto shop for a second look where they said the cv boot was on the right side of my car which costs less, and found that my rear brakes never needed to be replaced at all. They also found a few other issues that could have put me in danger that Kia never informed me about. Don t know what has happened to service here in the last year but it has been extremely frustrating and dissatisfying to say the very least.

I came in for my 3rd and final oil consumption test and, as usual, my amazing service champion, Adam, made me feel like a VIP! What I originally thought might be a 2-day+ window without my car, turned out to be a same-day turnaround with a few extra wows thrown in! Glad to be a part of the Covina Valley Kia family. I had a wonderful experience at Kia Services. Johnathan was very helpful and provided excellent service. He even assisted me with my side bumper dent and made it look so much better. I thought he was the manager since he was so professional and courteous. He should be promoted!! Actually had a horrible experience during Memorial Day weekend and I was canceled unexpectedly. I showed up at the dealer and that's when they told me that my car could not get serviced. Prior to my arrival there was another woman who was there who was yelling at the service people for not telling her either. I was rescheduled by Mike C who didn't really offer very much apologies other than to point at women in the office and say that they should have called me And this was seen to unforeseen circumstances of their mechanics canceling. I needed to get my door lock fixed so I asked him if it was OK to do a Saturday appointment and he said you can have any day that you need so I scheduled.About a day before I called in just to confirm that I actually could bring in my car for service. When I spoke to a woman she confirmed that the type of service I needed could not be done on weekends, it had to be a weekday. I was furious because another appointment wouldn't be available for weeks after I was already canceled and lied to again. I tried to get a manager on phone but of course sent to voice mail with no call back. I called againIt seemed that nobody wants to take responsibility here.I was demanding to speak to a service manager and they finally sent me to Jonathan Martinez. Despite my anger Jonathan was very nice, very polite and found me an empty space to come in the following week because of my situation. I asked him about who the manager was and he had mentioned that the person was on vacation. Regardless, Jonathan didn't point fingers....he apologized for my experience and went out of his way to take care of me and offered to squeeze me in during the next week to accommodate.It didn't just stop there, when I did actually show for my appointment he was very attentive he made sure I was aware of any service that I needed and came and gave me updates all along the way. I was very appreciative of that fact and at an excellent job he did fir service. I'm not sure of Jonathan's position but he certainly displays good leadership and skills with customers and made me change my feelings about the dealer.Service: Auto maintenance

Yes I had great customer service from when I went to do my motor oil change. I believe the service rep was called Mike or Michael but yes he was able to help me and make the process very easy. I appreciate you guys for your helping me keeping my car in great tip-top shape. yes I would definitely recommend friend or family members to get their car service there at the kia covina dealership. I would send them to talk to Mike or the name might be Michael.

I got a new engine under warranty and they fixed a recall for me. Oscar at the service desk is great BUT they sent my car home dirty but added to my invoice that they were going to clean it. They did NOT reimburse me for the rental car that I got washed with a full tank of gas for them before I gave back. Still waiting for the phone call about all of that. But I truly can t complain too much because my engine works great!

Terrible experience. I purchased the "BUMPER TO BUMPER" 10 year/100,000 mile extended warranty when I bought my car new from Covina Valley Kia. I have 2 issues with my vehicle that I brought back to said dealership to be looked at. (My car still falls within the parameters of the extended warranty.) Both issues were identified as "failures" by the technician. But according to them, neither of these issues is covered under my "BUMPER TO BUMPER" extended warranty. Even though my vehicle is under 10 years old AND has under 100,000 miles on it. Extremely deceitful and dishonest business practices here. To make matters worse; the night I go to pick up me car, they have me waiting outside for 30 minutes because they can't find my vehicle! They eventually find it, telling me they put my key in a different vehicle. It gets even better. That night, I drove my car straight home. I woke up the next morning to drive to work, and my car is 100% dead.(it's not the battery, I had it changed 3 months prior and it tested as fully charged.) The technician didn't tighten down the battery terminal and when I had it towed back to Covina Valley Kia, they kept it for an extra day because they had to reset the electrical system. This is by far the worst experience I've ever had. Was I naive about buying the extended warranty? Possibly. Did they lie through their teeth to sell it to me? Absolutely. I will never do business with Kia again. Absolutely deceitful and shameful.

Had been to a couple other Kia service centers (poor service, gave me the run around, had to return repeatedly because initial service didn t fix the issue). Covina Valley Kia is BY FAR the best. Accommodating, informative, fast service, and trust worthy. Not going anywhere else for service! Worked with Jonathan Martinez, great customer service. There were quite a few customers on my visit; All the service people from check in, counter service, and check out, worked diligently to address and assist customers in a timely, proficient manner. Brand new car, 4 days at home and the dashboard instrument panel blacked out. We left the car at the dealer from Thursday til Tuesday and the problem was fixed.
