This place is literally the best in the High Desert! Kimberly, Ed, and Chad were excellent in customer service, and with repairing my truck! My truck was in and out in just a few hours, and has been driving great since! This is the ONLY repair shop that s going under my hood! If you need reasonably priced, quick service, this is your place!

On July 12, 2023, I called AAA to have my car towed to Valley Transmission & Auto Repair. They would examine the vehicle and contact me with an update and my check-in paperwork. However, despite several weeks passing, I never received a call from them, considering my check-in paperwork and a detail of what was wrong with my car. After calling to get an update, I spoke with the receptionist, Kimberly, who informed me that they had not been able to look at my car as their mechanic was ill. After approximately two weeks, I had not received any communication from them, so I called again. Once more, Kimberly told me that the mechanic was still out due to illness and that Eddie, the owner, would contact me with an update. However, Eddie has yet to call me. Given that I had work hours that did not permit me to be off during the auto shop's working hours, I took a day off work to go in person and check on my truck. It was then that I discovered that the engine had a significant amount of guck in it and no work had been done as of yet, and they believed it might be a defect from the dealer. They said they would do their best to clean as much of it as possible and call me back. I asked the shop to send me pictures of the engine, but they only sent them once I revisited the shop and helped them send the images to my wife's phone. They told me they might need to clean some of the guck out the engine before they could determine what was wrong with my car at no cost to me. I asked for detailed paperwork on what needed to be done to get my car back running. However, after a week of hearing nothing, I called the shop to check on my vehicle. I was informed that the owner was out sick, and they had no update on my truck. My car had been at the shop for three months with no updates or explanation of what was wrong. When I asked to pick up my vehicle, I was told that I would have to pay $2,000 but would have to tow it off the property. When I inquired about the reason for the fee, as my truck wasn't fixed, I was told that the mechanic would like more time to try and fix something, and it would be at no cost to me for them to try, but they can't be sure that it will be working even after that. I requested information on what would be fixed and a little more detail and was told the owner would be in touch with the details. I am still waiting to hear from someone with this information or an update. On October 26, 2023, I spoke with Kimberly about an update and paperwork for my car. I also requested the full name of the owner. She told me she couldn't give me his last name, but I could speak with him. When Eddie received the phone, I requested to pick up my car. Eddie told me that my car wasn't ready, and he wasn't sure when it would be.After picking up the car, it was in the worst condition before I dropped it off. The tow truck driver and I had it towed to another dealership, and we were informed that the batteries in my car were not the original battier. It had been replaced with an older battered, and some of my wires to intertwine were missing, along with what I know had older parts in my new truck. My truck had been striped as well and they did not fix it. Stay away from this place. If you had any similar experience, do share. I also, didn't like how they spoke to me if felt as if they are rasist so I would warn minorities to be careful at this place. This place needs to be shut down.

Our transmission needed to be rebuilt and they took us in quickly. I am writing this several months after the rebuild and our transmission runs great. Owners Robert and Kimberly were outstanding in customer service. DID NOT charge me extra "hidden" or additional fees. I paid what I was quoted!! Thank you Valley Transmission!

My complaint list is too long to explain how this company failed. All i can offer for advice is get other quotes. or save yourself the major hearthache and just avoid them altogether. I believe the owner ripped me off for a couple thousand the first time they rebuilt it and also didnt do it correctly because it blew up just after the warranty was expired.. i had it towed there in hopes for some help but they quoted me 5,000 to rebuild it again.!!! I called around and 2 other shops quoted me $3500 less for my standard 06 chevy transmission rebuild. So i had to tow it to the other shop. But wait, 80 % of the parts were missing for 3 weeks.. I'll spare the rest of the nightmare. Receptionist worked her butt off to cover for all the others mistakes for three weeks so she deserves a big raise.

Hello all I had a decent expirence with Kimberly and her team at Valley transmission ,brought my 06 Lexus gs300 in for trans flush and solenoid change car had intermediate shifting issues above 3rd gear going into limp mode , I did all the research i could possible knowing that a flush and solenoid change might not repair the problem ..which it did not and valley also explained this as well which was fine but I had to go thru the protocol to try an save thr transmission. Kimberly was always communicative Everytime I called and let me know what steps they were taking to confirm a positive diagnosis of the transmission which is all I can ask for , also pricing was fair for the flush and filter ,I will visit them again if need be for local transmission needs , thanks again Valley Transmission

They promised excellent work but when I got the car back home there where stuff they broke and stuff they zip tie, missing bolts and nuts and missing nut on the front motor mount and what blows my mind that there where 3 missing bolts that hold the transmission to the engine you guys work on transmissions how can you have forgotten about the bolts. So at the end of the day I paid alot of money for a professional job but instead I got a shoe maker job done. So if you want missing bolts and nuts and broken stuff under your hood go here.

Valley did an amazing job for me after fixing a bunch of wiring after becoming food for desert creatures of the night. From the onset of drop off, estimate, and work, coupled with Yelp discount, I am 100% aligned with them. I have a Subaru and the owners and family members own 3 so I feel like I have a Subaru dealer in the high desert, and Subaru San Bernardino when I have specific work being done, I am in great hands at home now with Valley trans and have some upcoming work to do that will save me a lot from dealer prices, even tho I am happy with Subaru San Bern...My Subaru and I are in good, no, great hands either way!

I moved up to the HD a year ago and thank goodness I finally found a shop for my automotive repair needs! Eddie was the friendliest, most helpful and knowledgeable mechanic around. Very fair on pricing for not only parts but labor also! Even offered the services of one of his mechanics to come by and check out a vehicle at my house. I won t take my vehicles anywhere else!

This company went out of their way to help my family out. We were moving with two kids, two dogs and two cars. One broke down on a Friday afternoon. They came in on their day off to make sure we had a safe vehicle to finish our trip. Highly recommended! Would give 50 stars if I could. I have never experienced such compassion as I have here. Thank you Valley Transmission!Service: Auto maintenance

This is the best mechanic shop i have ever been to super friendly and really helped us out in the time of need. If I lived in the area they would always get my business. My car broke down on the way through Victorville and even though they don't work weekends. One of the mechanics has offered to work on his day off to fix it. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Brought my 2016 Buick Enclave into here due to the google reviews, as I was having some issues that I couldn t pinpoint myself. They took my vehicle in, found some issues that were potential causes, fixed them at a reasonable rate, off I went. Was satisfied, but my vehicle still had some issues. Brought it back to them and they did some more work, again, satisfied but vehicle still had issues.Fast forward a few weeks, took my vehicle to the dealership and they stated my transmission was going bad. Called Valley Transmission to get a quote and warranty details. Decided to have them do the work. Got my vehicle back and it appeared to be fixed and good to go. Turns out, I had a light keep popping on. Took it back to them and they found the issue, corrected at no charge to me, vehicle has been running great ever since. This is a testament of how well these guys take care of their customers and want to ensure you leave as a happy customer. I give them 10 out of 10 stars on customer service, maintenance knowledge, affordability, and professionalism. Thank you Valley Transmission, you have a customer in me as long as I live in the Hi-Desert.

Driving north on 15 approaching Cajon Pass my transmission began acting up. It wouldn't shift into the highest gear so I had to slow to keep the RPM's from getting too high. Then an accident occurred that shut down all 4 lanes of the freeway. We crept along for about an hour. During this time my wife called every transmission shop in Victorville, another 20 miles away. It was 2:30 in the afternoon and nobody could see us. Finally, we tried Valley Transmission. They were a couple hours from closing and were busy, but when we explained our situation they said they couldn't leave anyone stuck and told us to bring the car in. They ran diagnostics and made repairs, staying past closing time. While we waited with our dog in the air-conditioned office Robert and Eddie kept us entertained. They are truly decent and caring people in addition to being outstanding mechanics. What could have been a nightmare turned out to be a pleasant encounter. I can't recommend them highly enough.Service: Transmission

I've been meaning to write this review for sometime after I got back from my cross country vacation. My vehicle had the transmission go out on highway 58. I looked on google maps for a transmission service with a good rating and this one showed up and was closest. They were very helpful and got my vehicle in ASAP (we were over 1000 miles from home) and did a great job. The transmission had burned up, but they were able to track one down and get it in installed despite having a short staff at the time. It did take 4 days, but most of that was due to finding a transmission for an AWD vehicle. I would recommend them to any traveler with transmission issues in the vicinity.Service: Transmission

I was on my way home to South Dakota when my transmission started Leaking massive amounts of fluid. Looked up shops and found Valley Transmission with great reviews on both Yelp and Google. When I pulled in I noticed they were packed, with every mechanic working on vehices.. I thought I was screwed... But no.. Kimberly came out and greeted me, I told her the issues with my jeep and that I was trying to get home. Kimberly told she would do everything she could do. Several minutes later, Ed, one of the owners came out and explained to me that all their bays were booked for other repairs but he would personally look at my jeep in their parking lot. After checking it out. Ed determined the rear seals on my transmission were the issues. Ed immediately ordered the seals and got to work! The next day, I was back on the road. Not only did they fix the rear seals on my transmission. but they found and replaced a bad seal on my transfer case. In and out in 24 hours... Amazing.Thank you Kimberly for all the constant updates, Ed for getting your hands dirty, and Nathan for you expertise and professionalism!

What a great shop. A friend called me from where she was camping in the Mojave Desert. She was concerned that her truck's transmission was not shifting properly and her recently repaired motor was louder. I checked online and reviewed the options on Google Search. Valley Transmission had good reviews and I briefly talked to Eddie before sending my friend to them that day. They checked all the symptoms out and discovered that all systems were, in fact, good to go. Eddie and his crew explained the engine sound was because of new alternator parts added days earlier. The transmission was shifting properly. It just wasn't obvious. My friend was not charged. For this good news, they were happy to have been able to help. Which they really did. The shop has my thanks . . .

They did the job I needed them to do, but I feel like they ripped me off. I was told that I would be billed $125 per hour. TWO hours after I drop it off, I come pick the car up but they're charging me for THREE hours of labor. I address the discrepancy, and they said it's because they needed more than one mechanic working on it. There was no sign, or any kind of warning, that they would calculate their rates per mechanic, rather than total hours the car was being worked on. All in, I paid over $400 to have them epoxy my side mirror back on and reconnect the wiring.

If you ever have a transmission problem, come and talk to this business. They are friendly, helpful and will go out of their way to help you out and get you back on the road. Robert, Ed and Kim are great. We had serious issues with our truck transmission on the the way down from Canada and went to the Chevy dealer in Victorville. They told me my transmission was shot and needed a new one. I didn t think that was right as I actually managed to get into town pulling a 38 fifth wheel trailer. So I decided I needed a second opinion and I called Valley Transmission and Robert agreed with me. I limped my truck to the shop and they towed my trailer to a local RV park for us. When it was all said and done they repaired it for a fraction of the cost that the Dealer wanted. These are great people and I give them my highest rating.

I had terrible transmission issues on the Friday after Thanksgiving. Most mechanic shops were closed. Robert and Kimberly were so friendly and helpful. They gave us honest feedback and went above and beyond to help get my car back to me. Highly recommend if you're in need of auto repairs.

I'm late with this review (but it has been simmering in the back of my mind for months) I've forgotten the owners name. My new thing as a woman is to be vocal when I'm done wrong. Back in August 2018, I took my 2011 Impala here because I noticed a leak. I ended up getting a transmission fluid change, a gasket and worn bolts replaced (the bolts is what I was told was causing the leak) replaced. As soon as the next day, I noticed transmission oil in my driveway but thought maybe it was just residual oil dropping off. After driving to/from work the next 5 days (I never checked my driveway during this time) I left out of town for 2 weeks - my car was left parked in my driveway. When I returned home, after driving a few days I noticed oil in my driveway and at work where I parked my vehicle. I touched it with my fingers and it was red - transmission fluid. Before taking my car back to Valley Transmission, I took my car to get my regularly scheduled oil change (because of the miles I put on my car - I change the engine oil every 6 weeks). They told me I had a engine fluid leak and transmission fluid leak. In addition my air filter was missing (I had it replaced the previous oil change - they showed me on the video camera where they had put it in 6 weeks before). So not only did I still have a trans leak the mechanic at Valley Transmission forgot to put the filter back in! When I took my vehicle back to Valley Transmission with my concerns (I also let the owner know about the missing filter - he said "oh that's nothing to worry about" - I'm thinking without a filter debris can get in my engine!). The owner had his mechanic check out the Transmission and I was told that there wasn't a leak - I knew I was being lied to - I know what transmission oil looks like. To make sure I and others were correct, once I got my car home I placed a large piece of cardboard underneath it - in the morning there were two noticeable leaks, one small (engine oil) and one large (transmission oil). I had another mechanic look at it and was told that one of the bolts to tighten the gasket was put on too tight (it damaged the gasket) and that's where the leak was coming from! Either his (the owner at Valley Transmission) mechanic can't be trusted and lied to him or neither of them can be trusted. I'll never take my vehicle there again nor refer anyone to Valley Transmission. Because I was going to report to the BBB I've yet to have the leak fixed - I constantly put trans oil in my car.

My 2014 Dodge broke down 5 hours from home out on the 15 and had it towed here. Kimberly, Eddie, and John went were able to squeeze me in right away for a diagnostic since I was stranded out of town. It was determined that my transmission was toast even though it had been replaced in my home town the year before. Kimberly spent 30 minutes making phone calls between the original shop back home, and two Dodge dealerships. She was able to locate the warrantee for my transmission, have all the paper work sent over from the original shop and sent to the dealership, gave me contact information, offered me a cold drink and even charged my phone for me while I was waiting all this after knowing I would not be owing them anything but the flat rate diagnostic fee. She went above and beyond. Thank you to Kimberly and everyone at Valley Transmission for making a very stressful situation a lot easier for me.

On a camping trip from San Diego to Northern Arizona over a holiday weekend, our transmission went out just south of Victorville. After several calls to different shops, we found Eddie, who was the only person that was willing to help us because of the holiday. He was not working that day but said, "I'm your man" and definitely took care of us so we could get a rental and be on our way and have our vacation. We were so grateful and relieved. He treated us with such courtesy and friendliness and did not mind going out of his way. That is the best customer service we have experienced in a very long time.
