So on my way back home from Utha, all of a sudden my check light came on. The closes exit was Mohave. I came across Jose and A1 transmission. To me this was God sent, my dad's name. He took care of and my Dodge Charger. The dealer wanted 3,500 for what Jose's did for 1,500.00 as a single mother and on a budget I would totally recommend Jose and his team.

Warning don't take your car to these thieves. Rip me off for $6000.00 dollars for a transmission job. My car did not run. I sue A 1 transmission and won they still did not pay. What low lives

Bought a car from an auction and it ended up having transmission issues. I walked in expecting to buy a new transmission or at least expected them to say that it needed to be replaced immediately upon inspection. Their technician David reassured me that they would look for the actual problem and find the most cost effective solution. Well that they did. The fix ended up costing on 400! Brought my car in Monday at noon and got it back Wednesday at noon. 200% recommend them to anyone .Service: Transmission

Received a diagnosis from a dealership (Caposio Buick GMC) on my 2020 Chevy Equinox and was told I needed a new transmission and cost would be $5700. Took my vehicle in to this place and got a second opinion from David. After explaining my issues he suggested a simpler fluid change along with mixing some shudder prevention solution into the new transmission oil. Come to find my oil was just low and dirty, he even brought me into the garage and showed me first hand. He had my vehicle running smooth in about an hour at less than $400 and no new transmission was needed. Thank you David!! Highly recommend and very honest and helpful.Service: Transmission

Had a transmition repair here and i barely drived it. Leaked oil and messed up the transmission again. Now they dont want to be responsible because i cant find my receipt and they have no record of my car. Although i found a paper with a date when they got the deposit but they say they need receipt. So much about talking bad about previous owner when they seem to be the same way.

A1 Transmission & Auto repair is A1! The service was great! David was very professional and knowledgeable about my car problem, A clamp was need to secure the coolant hose, a $5 clamp could have cost me a motor! Easy, quick fix! Thanks David, I appreciate your quick diagnosis and fix, 15 minutes, done! Just made it to L.A. from Victorville with no overheating, car ran great! Now I have a reliable mechanic in Victorville, I would definitely recommend A1 Transmission & Auto Repair.

Seems to be a pretty Honest mechanic shop! Staff was super Friendly. Explained so I could understand. Took videos of my broken car parts. Brought me out the pieces to have when I picked up my car. Prices were fair. I'll be a regular and recommend everyone I know. Very happy.

Best mechanic in the high desert! It s hard to find an honest and reliable mechanic and A-1 transmission team went above and beyond for me. I went in and needed a new transmission among other things, he was able to get me a cheaper price for the transmission. When I left and there was issues on the car (nothing to do with their work) they worked on it for two days to figure out the issue, set it up where I was able to take it to the ford dealership to get a recalled part for free as well as a rental car through the Ford dealer. He did the research and made sure I was taken care of, told me exactly who to talk to and what to say. My friends and family will never use any other mechanic. They really do care about their customers and take their jobs seriously. We love this team, thanks for everything you have done for us!

Had a transmission go out coming up the I-15 at 1 AM. Had the tow truck driver take us to A-1 based on the Google Reviews I read. Of course it was closed but I left my truck there with the keys and a note. Then went on with my trip to Utah, trusting my baby to the fates.So glad I picked this place Alex and Dave took great care of her. The called me the next day, did a full diagnostic and found & fixed several issues.If I lived anywhere nearby, these guys would be my go to mechanics. Really good team and honest.

So far, great prices and knowledgeable staff. They also offer free tow with services.Normally, I feel taken advantage of when trying to get work done on my car, but not here. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I just got my whole engine replaced awhile ago and they did it fast and for a good deal.I just found out I needed my left wheel bearing replaced and I'm taking it back to them. They make sure they're getting the best deal for quality parts for you. They'll have my business even after we move down the hill.

I bought a salvage vehicle and was skeptical on taking my car to any mechanic due to bad experiences. A1 made me feel comfortable and they took their time and explained in detailed piece by piece. The mechanic was very pleasant and very patient and pricing is very affordable!!!!! I happy with the results and ready to take a road trip.
