What can I say about Abe s lock and key!!! If you re looking for honesty, efficiency, and trust worthy service then they are your company to call! Andrew was Exceptionally helpful! He answered my call right away and was at my place of business within 30min of when I called. We had worked with a company few hours prior and just knew that we were getting ripped off! But never got that feeling with Andrew. He explained to me everything he did and told me what the problem was and fixed it right away! Thank you Andrew and Abe s lock and key for having great and honest service!! We will be using again!

Really awesome family owner business. Been coming here a few years now for specialty keyport key cutting, and just recently had a service call for lock picking and also a laser cut key replacement. Both jobs were quick and easy. Give these guys a visit for anything locksmith related!

So I ve been getting keys copied where I shouldn t be and I had a key break in half and get jammed inside a door lock at a restaurant requiring an emergency locksmith to come to the rescue or else the restaurant would be closed and ended up paying hundreds of dollars to repair my lock. The keys you get duplicated at home improvement stores are made of aluminum because it s a soft metal that s easy for their machines to cut over and over but the trade off is a dangerous key that can easily break with force especially in a commercial lock which requires some force to move the deadbolt into position. At Abe s lock and key, Paul and Andrew hooked me up with a set of 5 solid brass keys and matching key tags and rings - all within 1 minute with with friendly service. No more waiting in line at the home improvement stores and asking for help to use their machines and getting aluminum keys!! No more going to grocery stores and getting 2 keys for the price of 5+5 tags at Abe s. They also do commercial installs on-site so I will make sure to give them all my business from now on.

Andrew was out today to help me with two locks which were not working properly. He was on time arriving, and was very knowledgeable, identifying the problems quickly and fixing them efficiently. He also was very helpful and gracious in his manner while he was here. I definitely will use Abe s Lock & Key in the future.

On April 28, 2023, I had an issue with my GMC Acadia regarding service theft deterrent system. There was no available shop at the time of my need.However, I came across Abe s locks & keys in La Crescenta and met Mr. Andrew. I explained to him my concerns and right away he accommodated me & attended to my issue. He solved the problem!I would highly recommend Mr. Andrew of Abe s locks & keys. I am a very satisfied client. Fast, affordable and very professional. It s tricky to find the first time. Pull down the driveway on the left side of the small US POST OFFICE on Honolulu, then turn to the right. Go to the end of the small parking lot and you ll see Abe s Key & Lock. It s below the building. Nice folks!

Very disappointment and how we were treated By the Son after we called because there was some issue with the lock that was re-keyed by the father a few weeks ago on a tenants home . We called and asked if they can come and see what s wrong with it was getting stuck in one of the doors they rekeyed they never mentioned that there was no warranty on the re-keying that they did few weeks earlier that cost over $:350.00 When we called they never mentioned that there would be a service call fee for coming out and checking on their own work that was not working properly . Apparently they don t guarantee their work!!!!! When they came out that s all they did was spray WD-40 and told us we had cheap locks that there was nothing they can do then they walked away then came back without a receipt or anything and told my husband that we owe a service fee of $95.00 and he said I thought it was under warranty so my husband was a little taken away They didn t even hand us a receipt or anything they just said the amount first of all that s very unprofessional no receipt given just said you Owe us $95.00 I thought it was under warranty because he re-keyed all the locks and this particular one wasn t working and the guy got in the car and drove away then a few hours later We received a very threatening phone call about how he was very disappointed that we didn t want to pay for his services and that he was mad and angry and said lose his number he never wants to deal with us again which was unprofessional in the first place this message he left is uncalled for there may have been a misunderstanding between both of us but for him to leave the message he did was al little alarming and to think I referred him to an attorney in Burbank who needed a locksmith in the city of Glendale Pasadena and Burbank so now I m gonna let him know of this threatening phone call and he will not do business with somebody that s so unprofessional and I Suggest you do the same and find a locksmith somewhere else someone that guarantees their work and doesn t send threatening phone calls to you because he thinks we were unfair to him but what about us we paid you for the work and now it s not working but to get it fixed we have to pay again that s not fair. !!!

Andrew was very efficient, professional, pleasant. The project was more involved than originally anticipated, but Andrew had solutions. I feel very safe now. I highly recommend Abe s Lock & Key.

If you like to overpay for mediocre locksmith service, come to this place. I waited twenty minutes in line to be helped only to be quoted over 4 times the amount everyone else charges for a few lock strikes plates. When I asked the attendant why they were so expensive in comparison to everyone else, he replied they were not expensive in comparison to buying the whole lock. Mind you, most hardware stores sale the plates independently of the lock for around $2.99 a piece (but were not in stock anywhere near by.) The price I was quoted at Abe's was $13.99 a piece, which seemed to be made up on the spot as the attendant was working the register. I didn't feel like being ripped off, so I left.

I highly recommend Abe's Lock and Key. I had a fairly large job with a super tight deadline and they pulled through perfectly. I had 45 doors that needed the locks repined and rekeyed (Land lord did not have the correct keys.... for any door...) with that said they were still able to come through on the deadline.

Locked in my house yesterday! My deadbolt lock failed yesterday with me inside the house!Called Abe's Lock and Key, they came out within 15 minutes to rescue the day!Fast, Courteous, Knowledgeable, Affordable long time local merchant! Highly recommended!

Great service from beginning to end. I gave them a call regarding a couple broken locks, and they came out the same day and took care of it. Might I also add that they fixed the locks very quickly. It didn t take them long at all.Last but not least, they were also very friendly and the price was great! Would definitely recommend.

I went to Abe's (on 1/27/2022) because the Prius dealer told me I needed two new Prius physical keys at $200 per key. Abe's was able to get the existing key to work by simply lubricating the Prius door lock. The only reason this all cost me $10 at Abe's was because after Abe's said "No Charge for this" I insisted on paying SOMETHING. I said $25, he insisted no charge, and after haggling we settled on $10. Clearly, if he had wanted to, he could have told me lots of crud and charged me $100 and I would not have known the difference. So, you can assume if you make an Abe's service request, they will charge fairly and honestly.

Paul is awesome! He made a duplicate key for me and it literally took him 15 seconds. I was amazed. I thought I would be in there at least 10 minutes. In and out quick service and not a bad price either.

I came in with an obscure key duplication problem, and Paul was knowledgeable, helpful, and very professional. I walked out with keys, a promise to refund the cost if they don't work, and a sense that I wouldn't mind at all if I needed to come back sometime. Great little place.

Paid $15 for making a copy of a safe box key. Didn't work the first time. Even I can tell the new key was not a precise copy. So I took it back and let the owner make adjustments. This time the key worked, but I had to jimmy the lock. The owner wasn't apologetic at all during my second visit. Wonder if he is used to it.

I know it was our fault, but $350.00 ( for a $39.94 car key replacement) was not fair at all..$350 was charged to us.....We're not rich, we were in Denver, Colorado for my sister's (that recently had a stroke) son that got married...This is a big lesson for us......I hope your business is not affected by this RUTHLESS, RIDICULOUS charge on desperate people like us!!!
