This is the best place I have ever taken my car. Javier actually cares about keeping your vehicles running their best and your safety. My cars keep running strong and lasting long. As a woman, I've been charged more for car repairs (I know because I've compared this shop to others). It's nice to be able to Trust a mechanic.

Javier did not return my catalytic converter, which is a huge financial loss to me, especially as a permanently disabled senior living on SSDI. It wasn't his to sell. It would have helped me to offset this expensive repair and left me with money for some food. When I asked him about it, he said, "They asked me to give them a $500 deposit, but I didn't feel like writing a check to them." That's hardly a reason to rip off a disabled retiree. I was referred to Javier by a trusted friend of mine and he has done nothing but good for me and my car, he is super friendly and easy to talk to even if you don't know anything about cars. He doesn't rip you off and he he doesn't do anything that doesn't need to be done unlike the typical corparate mechanic. Good person and good job. 10/10

My F250 diesel failed smog due to bad EGR and a bad glow plug. Javier took on the job and did an excellent job in a timely manner. He was upfront with parts and labor pricing. I was completely pleased with my whole experience. Javier is a very personable honest business man. He will be getting my business repeatedly in the future.

Javier was great, we were having a hard time getting a car smogged. He tested it repaired it and it passed with flying colors. No gouging no unnecessary repairs. Javier was great! He had me in and out in 10mins. I had my wife in the car with me and she couldn't believe how quickly he completed the test. Javier showed great customer service and professionalism. I found out about him through Yelp and his reviews are great! I would trust everyone else who had a positive experience with him and not even consider the one bad review. Everyone is responsible for their own reality and for me I would go back again. In fact, I have my 2nd vehicle up for a smog and Javier is my go to smog guy.

Initially did Smog Check here, fast and fair price. Returned for a Coolant leak and brake job, the repairs were a little more than just a leak, but fair prices and extremely quick turnaround on my work truck. Javier is awesome! I get off work at 6 and he closes at 6 but I called him up and he said he would stay open. I would have paid much more for the level of customer service he provided. Thanks Javier.

Super friendly, professional and fast. My 2002 Eurovan initially didn't pass. Javier helped me pin-point the problem immediately. He fixed the issue, told me to drive it 15 miles from a cold start the before coming back. I came back and passed.

I was in and out of there with in 15min!!! So fast and SUPER friendly staff.Only reason why i think the one review said he was not around is because there is always some one calling on him to help out. So my observation thinks he was helping some one out and lost track of time.10 out of 10 will defiantly go back!Cheers

Fantastic! Quick, fast, affordable (can you find cheaper? sure. should you? no).If you need a smog check, don't waste your time looking around, go here and you'll be happy you did.Seriously, from the time I showed up to the time I was leaving it was maybe 10 minutes -- and that's being generous. It was probably closer to five, but that's just so short as to make it almost unbelievable.Save your time, come here.

We all have to get our cars slogged one time or another. They get you in a timely matter and there service is fast. Unless there is a problem. Didn't have one myself. Prices are fair. The guys are friendly .

I recently had a problem with my car not passing smog test & needless to say I needed that for renewal of registration. I had never experienced this problem before and did not know where to go for help. I failed the smog test 3 times before finding Ventura Smog and Repair. I took my car in and by the afternoon Javier had it repaired! I am so pleased, Javier is definitely the man. I would highly recommend him!!
