I had a great experience, and walked in without an appointment. Everything went standard for a smog inspection finished in less than 15 minutes. Price was excellent within expectations. Would highly recommend to anyone needing smog services.

Went into the shop with no appointmentAnd I didn t realize he was right before close. As it was my first time, ever doing a smog certification and this was a process I wasn t sure of or familiar with. Without thinking about it the man says he was about to close but would help me anyway. The man there was a very respectful and professional to me when i talked to him. After I gave him my keys and he was doing the test, I sat down in his shop and waited on my phone until he was done. When finished he gave me my certificate and I was on my way. Would definitely come back here!

The proprietor, Rutilio, is an extremely fair and honest gentleman and very knowlegible mechanic. Trust me when I say that you are in capable hands when you entrust your vehicle to Rutilio. **** BUT - DO NOT be late to your appointed time. If you are late you will have to reschedule as he has quite a tight time table !!! ****

The owner is always friendly and my experience has consistently been great. He does get busy and though he tries to accommodate drop-ins, I have had to wait for an appointment once. After 10 years of coming to him I d say that s a great record.

Called and made an appointment, couldn't get there on time, but he stayed late for me to get my smog taken care of. Awesome customer service!!!!!

Don't even think about going here if you have made any kind of upgrade to your vehicle whatsoever, it won't matter if you have an EO number (executive order number necessary on any performance parts per the state of CA to prove that it doesn't negatively affect your vehicles emissions) issued by CARB (California Air Resource Board). Or if you have the printout from CARB saying it's legal. Or even if the owner of the shop Rutilio Perez says that the EO# is legal, he'll still fail it on the visual inspection. Apparently while he does know a great deal about where to stick his probe up your car, he's not very familiar with general mechanics and certainly not with anything aftermarket.

So I want to say this I took my truck to Thompson smog walk down to my local Takle shop Came back An hour later go to get my truck and I noticed a huge dent In the passenger side of my truck I go to the guy in the shop the old man and I tell him what happened to my truck he proceeds to tell me or nothing nothing I show them a huge dent in the side of my truck and he tries to tell me I didn t do that it must ve been there when you brought it to me which is total BS. I will never go here again or refer this place to anyone else.
