If we are now required to schedule an appointment, please let us know, when we call. When I stopped by with no appointment, to purchase my tires. The guy never mentioned the importance of an appointment. He took my order & I paid in full. He said, he would call in a day or so, never got the call or text. I called, to check on my tires, they said come in the tires in. Never mentioned the importance of having an appointment.. when I got there, they said I needed an appointment to replace my tires, after I made a fuss, they said OK, but it's going to take a few hrs, maybe 1.5 or 2hrs. The guy helping express the importance of having an appointment and he was not very nice, matter of fact " No one was nice" I really wanted to walk away and cancel my order. This will be the last time- I purchase tires with Pep Boys again.

Charged $1000 for 3 hours of labor....painful pricing. Guess if they can charge it, why not. Just want an honest mechanic. The part was $300...Please go to Motion Tires II instead.

The lady who worked the desk was so incredibly friendly and efficient. I overheard her making a phone call for another customer to help find a part. It seems like she went above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. I was very pleased with my service here.

Pep Boys in Ventura is very knowledgeable and has been very helpful with my car! They walked me through my car's issues, with plenty of detail, were patient while I figured out what I wanted to spend money on fixing, gave me a great price, fixed the issues the same day with Great customer service skills, and did an excellent job on the repairs. Thank You Pep Boys Ventura!!

They were great! I accidentally made an appointment with another auto service company and walked in and the front counter person let me know they could make room to fit me in! That was amazing for me as I run a tight scheduled and didn t even realize I went to the wrong place.

The Pep Boys Ventura is my go to shop, the extended hours of operation as well as being open on Sundays is extremely helpful!! Especially if you find yourself in a jam.. I walked in at 530pm yesterday to see if they had time to do my alignment, and they had another car being worked on but got me checked in, and out the door by 610pm !!

Booked an appt to get my headlights changed on a kia optima, once there was told it would he an hr & a half because they need to remove my bumper to get to the headlights?? Thought this sounded strange because I know it can be done without doing that. I addressed this with the cashier and then he went to confirm with a mechanic and said that yes, they just did the same model the previous day and this is what it takes.I just say okay what cost am I looking at and was told $255 with a straight face left and went to jiffy lube down the street. Was in & out in 15 minutes & costed me $80. This pep boys either has incompetent people working here or are outright ripping people off

This Pep boys location and particularly Liliana are absolutely amazing! On a Friday afternoon I had a flat tire on the 101, and before being towed I reached out and Liliana confirmed they could purchase the specialty tire for my car and have it installed by the next afternoon. When I arrived she had already begun the process of getting everything organized so I could swiftly move on to my planned destination. She was professional, courteous, sharp and a joy to work with. I certainly recommend their services!!!

Made an appointment for 8:30am and dropped the car off at 7:30 before work and left the keys in the drop box like we always do. Come 4pm I call to check up since I haven t heard anything all that and come to find out they never checked their drop box and tryed blaming it on there not being a note stating that. We have been customers for years and have done the same routine each time since we work early. What s the point of the drop box of you don t check it. When I spoke with Luis ( manager ) he says it is not standard for anyone to check their drop box daily.l, even though my car was parked right outside their garage all day. Which seems pointless to me. I was going to get an alignment, new tires, total fluid flush but because of the negligence and unprofessional service I probably won t be returning. Carlos has always been super helpful and able to get things done especially when there is an appointment set in advanced. Maybe reconsider who you have running your shop.

I dropped in when I had a nail in a tire. The service was good and quick. The process of contacting my insurance company and getting the approval was very fast. Clifford and Calros were so great and helpful.

I love the Ventura Pep Boys. They are always so nice, the manager Julio is amazing and Abel the guy at the counter sometimes is also really cool. They won't rip you off! And they honor a lot of coupons. I will always go to them for my car needs!

The staff here was very accommodating and extremely helpful. They were super busy but made time for our urgent tire change even though it was almost closing time. I highly recommend them. Thank you so much guys for helping us.

Edwin helped me get in at the last minute, called me back right away when they got the parts and gave me excellent customer service so I could get new wiper blades before a long drive in the rain. Thank you!!!

Although the service took a while the cost was less than estimated. Got all 4 new tires. $473 for 4 tires each 65,000 miles.

I walk in and I m immediately acknowledged by the staff member who s already helping another customer.Once it s my turn, I just feel totally paid attention to - in the way a stressed out, tire problem having, have to be at work worrying person, should be!!!They only had one technician available at that moment, they were already busy with walking and appointments, so I was given the estimated time, and the option of coming back to pick up my car.Long story short the staff helping me (and the technician fixing my tire) made this as painless as could be imagined. They had me out the door in really no time. But I need to emphasize the greeting, listening, attention to task, and JUST TOTALLY PLEASANT and positive vibes of the staff helping me!!!!

They messed up my suspension after I asked them to fix a tire (which I had to explain to them over 10 times what I needed done, when it was a relatively easy process), didn't open my door when I asked them to (the lock on it is busted), and broke the power locks to the rest of my doors. I went to this place as a last resort before I was supposed to move, and now because of the work I need to get done I'm not moving until next week. This was a giant waste of time and money. I wish I could go back in time and never take my car to PepBoys. This company is never going to see me in one of their establishments again.

Julio was very nice. We were dropped off by a tow truck 5 minutes before they closed and they still replaced my tire and made sure I left safely.

This is truly a 5 star business and restores faith in humanity. The staff is wonderfully professional. The tire experts should work at INDY they are so fast.

My vehicle was in an immediate crisis. I called Pep boys, Abel picked up and, in a professional manner, told me everything I needed to know to avert the crisis. Dropped the vehicle off 30 min later crisis averted.

9/27/23 Pep Boys Ventura has continued to earn my business and gain my trust . I had a problem with shaking and it turned out to be a defective tire situation and they totally set me up . I'm super happy and my truck rolls nice and smooth now with a new set of rubber.Tyler and his crew did a wonderful job on my truck. The price was right on and they did it so quick I wasn't ready to pick it up in time for them. The Ventura Pep Boys has really shaped up I will return.

Service was excellent as usual. I also appreciate the free vehicle inspection. This place is busy and a routine service can take an hour or so even with an appointment. But it's worth the wait for the quality of service and their reasonable prices.

Charged more than double what a rotor costed them in the first place. (I called Volvo where they got the part because 336.88 is outrageous for just one rotor-labor not included. I needed two- so I was charged about $600 that the dealer said should have been $328 for both-YIKES) When we called to ask about this this confirmed it s their mark up I would have rather gone to the dealer that they ultimately got the part from. They were not transparent whatsoever from the beginning. They also kept my car for multiple days. Super bummed.

Sunday and I needed a battery installed in my Ford Escape. Ford buried the battery so the replacement was near impossible. Pep Boys was able to perform the service without an appointment..
