Maaco Ventura is the place to go. I took my 2001 Dodge Dakota with 236,000 miles in to get painted. Arun the owner went over details and took me for a tour through his shop. He was very thorough and patient with all my questions I had. He even picked out the shade of color I wanted that would look best on my truck.He is one of the most pleasant, respectful, honest and patient man I have met. His customers definitely come first. He has had the business for many many years.I even decided to have the truck bed sprayed with Rhino like coating and decided to have it the color that they painted the truck. They went above and beyond to meet my needs.The office staff is excellent also. Ruben and Ulysses. They called just to keep me up to date on trucks progress and tentative completion date. This franchise opened up only a few weeks ago as of July 2023, but was offered a great deal and decided to let them paint my 2010 Mazda 3 because it needed it and the outcome was amazing. I thank Jared and the crew! Also the trim was not replaced, pure paint, so next project for the restore.Edit: They replaced the headlight plastic also!

I decided that my 33 year old Nissan needed TLC badly. I'd contemplated selling it many times over the years. Instead, I planned on giving it a makeover. I couldn't find anyplace that works on rust and/or working on an older vehicle. MAACO Ventura came highly recommended. I was very happy with to say that the gentlemen there were extremely professional. They went above and beyond to make my baby shine again. Being painted black, every dent would show. They made sure each dent was repaired prior to painting. I was so proud to have them work on my truck and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone who wants or needs their vehicle to be repaired or just a new paint job. They are terrific!!!! Thank you for all you did for me guys!!!

Maaco provides great service at a great price! The salt fog finished off the clearcoat on my 1999 BMW, so I needed a new paint job. Maaco repainted the car in the original color, and they did an amazing job! As with everything, you get what you pay for. Be honest with whomever is doing the quote about what you want and what you don't want. They're trying to help you - when your car looks good, they look good.Service: Painting

The Team at Maaco in Ventura CA took great care of my car and got it looking like I drove it off the lot for the very first time. They were honest, fair and professional. My invoice came back lower than my quote . . . How great is that!

Thomas is great, kind, and strives for excellent customer service. Others there not so much. We took car there for 2 weeks and no work started; took it back and quick work but wrong color so that s why the low rating. We spent over an hour choosing the color ahead of time but they got it wrong. Some areas not fully painted and some other imperfections but the body work seems excellent and the color change repaint/refurbishment did get done eventually.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

HIGHLY recommend this place! Someone did a hit and run and smashed my car door. Called around and they gave us the best estimate, by far. Not only did they replace the door of my Mirai (matching the paint perfectly) - when I picked it up, they had washed AND vacuumed it out!!! Outstanding work!! Friendly staff. Ready when promised. The actual paint job, the 4 year warranty selection, was a little rougher on the driver's side than I like. It looked as if maybe there was some dirt left on the car and it got painted over. I didn't see it till after I left the lot but I'm sure if it causes any future problem, Maaco will take care of it.

Owner Aron and his wife were very kind. Turn around time was amazing. Dropped off on Friday and picked on Wednesday. I wish manager would have gave me more of a heads up on the 3% non cash payment. I could have requested a check which takes time. I was anxious to get my car. Other than that very happy with my car paint job.Service: PaintingService: Painting

Lack of communication and I got paint job with pimples and bumps and at $1,900. dude acted like what you expect that's what you get for that price( translation...we don't clean our equipment properly and we lazy and unprofessional ) so I went to "Maaco in Oxnard" WOW world of difference starting with friendly explains everything young lady at counter to no pimple even polished my headlight glass to new almost and beautiful paint job and great experience I got I am glad say I went to Maaco but in Oxnard don't waste time n $$$ at Ventura one on Goodyear!

I was very happy with the paint job I got to hear at this Maco Shop. I think the people who own this particular shop take a lot of pride in it and so that they restore a lot of old cars and the price alone, while being a little more than I thought it would be, from the advertising and from the estimate, but we trusted the guy who gave us the estimate, that this was the right job for our car...And so far, so good..and it came out better than our expectations...let's see how it wears through time

Arun and Ruben took the time to make a deal that fit my budget. This was my second paint job at their shop. They unexpectedly threw in a ding repair and extra work on my exterior mirrors but didn t charge me! The car is getting compliments from my neighbors. Now my 97 Corolla looks new again. Special kudos to the lady who answers the phone. They are a great team.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with any buisness. I had my truck painted here last year, I paid $2,000, a year later the paint is peeling again after taking it back 3 times. They had my truck for weeks and it just sat there they don't care about their customers and there work is less than acceptable. Note the reviews that have 5 stars only have one review or a few. I myself don't leave reviews but this has been such a bad experience I have only this option. I think people who give a place a 5 star review and only do this for one place are made up reviews and should not be given any consideration because this place is anything but a 5 star company.

Have your old weather beaten vehicle in good mechanical condition painted here. Why? Because you get a great paint job for a price you can afford that makes sense. I did and my truck looks awesome. It suits my needs and looks new again. And no high insurance rates, and monthly payments that come with a new car. If you have a car you like in good running condition that could use a makeover you would be wise to consider Maaco.

We got the middle paint job for $1300, the quality of the paint has little to be desired over spray everywhere with runs and drips throughout the car. After only a year the paint has faded completely. They were so lazy they didn't even undo three screws to remove the roof rack bars. Would not suggest Maaco as there quality of materials and workmanship is pretty poor.

Absolutely horrific experience. They resprayed my vehicle in the wrong tint and the finish was beyond sloppy. Refused to do a trim & cut and customer service was beyond terrible! I would strongly suggest to look elsewhere for body paintwork for your vehicle. BEWARE!Service: PaintingService: Painting

Ruben took great care of us! Have a Toyota 5sp truck, 2006 with what seems to be the standard Toyota worn out clear coat and an over due to fix rusted roof. Ruben was very easy to work with, polite friendly and patient. Gave Me a couple of different price quotes for different paint options at My request over a period of two weeks. Made the process very easy for Me, dropped the truck off and five days later it looks like a show room dealer paint job for a very reasonable price!! Thank You Ruben, Thank You Aarun!

Dropped the car off on Saturday and picked it up the following Saturday. The staff were informative and helpful. The paint job was perfect. Our old car came out looking like new. Dents, chips and dings were all gone! We should have done this a long time ago.

Had my truck painted. The paint came out real nice, however the masking left some room for improvement. Overspray on rubber door, window, and windshield gaskets have overspray that I now have to try to get off. Inside of truck was left with hand prints thar appeared to have paint on hands. Door handles, and steering wheel have paint hand prints.Service: Body & Trim

I have no clue about painting but when you see a random raised mark/imperfection on a should be smooth surface that shouldn t be there. That is not normal. Then was told that it s ok? Mmm ya I don t think so.Service: PaintingService: Painting

I don't know how to explain what happened to me at this business..no words can really describe the terrible customer service. I was told so many different things and different prices.. The man in charge is rude and disrespectful to women, he spoke to me like I was stupid. I wish I could give them zero stars. The restroom is filthy and so is the office. Rude, disrespectful, and just plain old mean. Avoid this place..
