I am so happy that I found these guys! Tron and Jim did an amazing job getting my 1978 VW Bus back on the road. The issues I was having just baffled the VW experts I brought it to, but not these guys, they figured out the problem, and now it s running better than ever before! They are meticulous experts at what they do, really nice guys, super honest and fair in pricing, will definitely be my go to garage in the future! Patrick McAteerService: Engine repair

I sent my 71 VW Super Beetle in, which needed a lot of work done. All Tron did was cut corners. He left my shifting plate misaligned, try to put the car in first gear and sometimes it would go into reverse, try to put the car in third or fourth gear it would stay in low gear. He claimed to have tested the car, but being a "mechanic" he missed a dangerous issue. Tron also showed incompetency because he couldn't rebuild the solex carburetor. Tron also failed to locate the electrical drain my Bug had, which he claimed he could do. He also failed to acknowledge the engine compartment was missing the rubber seal that protects the engine from hot air. Tron doesn't know anything about air-cooled VWs, but he'll gladly take hard earned money for little in return. There's a ton of issues Tron failed to figure out. The end result was a $3,300 bill for lousy work, which Tron also refused to give me paperwork. An honest mechanic would hand over paperwork, but not with Tron because he's dishonest. Never send a vintage VW here, or any sort of vehicle as a matter of fact.Worst experience I've ever had at any sort of auto shop.

What a horrible person, let alone a 'mechanic'. If you want to be forgotten, degraded, threatened and over charged.. bring your car or truck to Tron.Worst 'mechanic' EVER. Tron n Elliott were fantastic, they got me underway in no time and I gave them $5,000. limit before had call me as I wanted whatever was wrong fixed! when I got the call it was to say there done and only $1500. so wow I'm so grateful and recommend them if you need RV repair on chassis not the coach. Jiffy Lube stiffed me and Elliot s helped.I really appreciated having a patient discussion with male mechanics, who don t feel the need to act domineering.The people here are kind and open. I recommend them.

Probably the worst shop I've ever used. I had my truck there for a engine swap nothing crazy 5.3 ls, tron seemed comfortable with the job said it would be done in a week. After three weeks he said he was about to wrap it up and to let my tuner know so I scheduled my tuner to come out a few days later. Well when we arrived to do a base tune the truck wasn't ready no fluids still apart so my tuner asked can we just idle it and do the base tune so he can drive it to me later to finish the tune and tron became very agitated. After a while he fired it up and within a few minutes my tuner said something wasn't right asked if everything was hooked up tron insisted it was. So he did the base tune when I picked it up a week later I didn't even make it to Oxnard much less camarillo where my tuner is located the truck overheated had it towed to him said it was fixed. Yet again same thing this time I had it towed to my tuner there were 5 different vacuum and breather lines not even there no valley gasket so it was leaking oil bad. Tron basically just said it wasn't his fault and good luck. After spending another 900 on top of the 3500 i gave tron to get that fixed i was done with Elliotts. So I would give no stars if I could, stay far away from this place especially if you have a built or performance vehicle.Service: Engine repair

If you looking for a honest ,super nice good old school mechanic you need to call Elliot s. He goes over his obligations to help you. Super fair and honest. Thanks personally for being such nice guy!. I m coming back to his shop for anything I need. 10/10!!

I'm changing my review as you learn more as time passes. Seemed great honest in beginning. Needed second repair was pinion steering costing $1800.00, paid cash two days later cars steering goes out. Second trip to Trons car stays 3 days (major pain for me getting by without my car) steering locks again and now stalling in worse condition before Tron touched it. I want my money back!!! Tron promises to fix it right and this time. Third trip to Trons to (Any reputable mechanic would have done repair right first time and not give back a car that was dangerous). I've only had car back a few days and still running rough and steering squeeking. Tron is dishonest I'm finding new mechanic and going small claims court.

Hands down the best service EVER. Quick, efficient, and helpful service. As a single mom these guys definitely made my car issues easy to understand,no beating around the bush or overpriced bs. Thank you team!

I used Tron's shop after some recommendation and my work was done, just found out that I was overcharged. A sensor costing $13 and just takes about 5 minutes installment was costing me $200. Then I brought my car with needing another thermostat, which was mentioned to him, I don't need a thermostat but instead I need a waterpump. After installation, I was told that the original pump was actual a good one, but he installed the new one anyway and that a new radiator was needed. 'New' radiator was installed, but came in conclusion that a thermostat as previously mentioned, was needed for this job. Thermostat installation end up costing me over $700 and founding out that the 'New' radiator I was charged for, was not new at all. About the radiator I learned a week later after repairs when car needed body repair. Upfront cash money ($300 paid in $20's) was provided to Elliot's Performance to buy parts, but after learning of overcharging, we took the car back and requested money refund. I received 3x$100 bills and when I took it to the bank, I was told that one of the $100 was fake. I called Tron and who got mad and told me that he would be out of hundred dollars. But that was actual my money and car was not touched yet. The bank kept the money and wrote a report. I went back to Tron to get another $100, but was given another fake bill. I was cheated big time.

they worked on my motorcycle came back with a dent in the tank and shifter lever is not mine talked with owner about worked performed not to satisfaction he didnt have time, no follow up call ... bad experience bad service. though real prompt when taking money .. never again.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Super cool to talk to with good enthusiasm. I can tell of the confidence of knowledge they know there stuff. I felt good after my conciltation. Excited to set them loose on 66 Pontiac.

My grandson, Devon, works here with his dad, Tron. Had to visit Devon even though he was extremely busy. Great place to get your car, truck, &/or bike fixed.

Tron and his guys are very professional, they go out of the help people and I'm very tight budget I've never had a problem getting my car in and getting it fixed yes I've known him for years but that just makes me that much more of a critic good or bad but they always do what they say they're going to do no matter what I highly recommend itService: Auto engine diagnostic
