I had just discovered that my 2015 BMW 320i had developed a leak from the bottom of the valve cover(crack around the bolt). I have been out of work with an injury and was trying to get a new job so money is tight. The first garage, nice bunch of guys, said they would fix it but I d have to wait till after the first of the year because they take most of December off, the price would be $1500 to $2000 unless they find something else wrong. The next garage, a little bigger and they had loaners and coffee said to bring it in tomorrow, again they said $1500 to $1800 unless they find something. My wife found a garage with lots of great reviews so I went down to see them, the owner was nice. He told me we don t work on BMW s anymore but recommended Jim at Creative Car Care. Any time you get a recommendation from another mechanic it s a good sign. Jim was upfront and easy to talk to, he said come in tomorrow and I ll fix it, probably $800 plus or minus. I like someone who wastes no time and is able to tell you exactly what the job is and will try and do it for the most economical way possible. When I picked her up it was a shade over $800 and he finished the job by lunch time. Jim is a great mechanic and an honest businessman. I will continue to bring my BMW to Creative Car Care for any and all of her mechanical needs. Thanks Jim!UPDATE: 03/03/2024My wonderful 2015 BMW 320i has an engine warning light on, the message for Engine is moderately Hot Drive Slow came on and it went into limp mode. I have made an appointment with Creative Car Care for Monday morning. I m so glad I found them and Jim. Fingers crossed .

Jim got my VW R32 in and solved the problem the same day. I ve got a laundry list of problems and he didn t try to drag all the unrequested issues into the current problem. He simple fixed the one problem requested, quick and as affordably and efficiently as possible. Being a first time customer, that really impressed me and I ll certainly go back to his shop for my other maintenance as needed. I like Jim s work and I would recommend Creative Car Care for your Volkswagen needs.

After two frustrating experiences at the VW dealership I decided to find an independent auto mechanic. My search led me to Creative Car Care, owned and operated by Jim. I brought my 08 Passat in with some electrical issues. It turned out to be an inexpensive, quick fix for Jim.Jim kept me informed while working on my car, fixed minor things for free and provided great money saving advice regarding future maintenance.If you're looking for an independently owned business with an honest, knowledgeable owner I highly recommend Creative Car Care.I won't go anywhere else!

Jim is a very honest guy, and does top-class work. If you're looking for an alternative to the high-priced dealers, then you should check out Creative Car Care. Jim does all of the work himself, so the man you talk to is the guy doing the job.I can thoroughly recommend him to anyone.

Given that I was recommended to this shop, I had high hopes. Turns out that if Jim can t find the problem, he turns around and charges you anyway. Almost $200 down the drain, and back to square 1 with the same issue I had before bringing it in. (Audi A5)
