Just had my '04 BMW 325ci serviced at Christensen Performance a couple of days ago. I was going to try another shop in town, but they were not rated as highly as Christensen. Just based off the reviews, I decided they were the shop that I'd try.The guys did a fantastic job, had very fast turnaround, and all at EXCELLENT prices. My car needed new rear brakes, compressor belts, the wiper motor needed replacing, tire rotation, and fluids all around. The shop was very honest with what my car needed. There was nothing the shop could not do! The shop also warranties their work for 1 year or 12,000 miles. Can't go wrong with that! They were very efficient with the time spent on the car.Where the shop excelled at was with communication. Anders communicated with me the entire time my car was under. He would call just to make sure that it was ok to move forward with any part (even small ones!), I really appreciated that.I will definitely be going back to their shop for ANYTHING my BMW needs. There was nothing Christensen couldn't do. Take my advice, you will leave very satisfied.

I have been going to Christensen Performance for many years commuting all the way from L.A. to get my BMW serviced. Anders and his crew are true professionals, honest and trustworthy. Their work is impeccable. I recommend this shop to anyone who needs their expert services.

Anders & Christensen Performance Center are a great group of people and mechanics. I bought my BMW from Anders back in 2016, and it has literally been one of the best purchases of my life. It s 2020, and my car is still running like a dream! Thanks Team!Very Respectfully,Mazen Shehabi

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! These guys were such an amazing help to me. I brought in a garage find 1974 911S Targa and these guys helped me every step of the way. After 14 years of sitting in a garage, they helped bring back this old car. It was such a pleasure working with Anders and the team. All of them are great. They do amazing work and are such a wealth of knowledge. I could not have gotten this car back with out them. I will definitely be coming back!

Anders Christensen and his staff are the only professionals I trust to provide honest appraisal and the highest quality work. The prices are very competitive, but they have been servicing my 2005 Mini Cooper S and 2003 BMW X5 since 2010, and I will not take my car(s) to another shop.

I first met Anders in 2007 when he was at his Carpinteria location. He and his staff impressed me with their knowledge and thoroughness. I've been hooked ever sense and have nothing but great things to say about this garage! Anders has what I look for in a mechanic, knowledge, experience, pride, quality and is very fair. He bends over to make sure you have the best experience and outcome possible.

Anders said he could do the work on my collector car when I explained the issues. He had the car three weeks and then told me he couldn't do the work after all. When I picked up the car it was filthy. They didn't use a paper floor mat and the footwell had grease marks. Overall miserable experience.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Oil changeServices: Steering & suspension repair, Oil change

Their work is good. Their rates are in line with allowable charges but.......they'll charge you for anything they can think of that might be wrong but is not actually wrong. My options to repair a fuel problem were estimated at $2K, however, I instructed them in which path to take first based on my non-professional opinion. At the end-of-the-day and less than $200 (replaced fuel filter), all the aforementioned problems were miraculously resolved. I don't feel comfortable with this mechanic anymore. I now visit a different Audi specialist on Thompson street in Ventura.

I spoke with Gary at the service department and I am very sad to say that I now regret buying a Volkswagen and am very happy that I didn't buy it from this dealer. They do not stand behind their vehicles at all unless you buy it from that lot. They will not offer to help you out in anyway, so if you bought a Volkswagen from any other dealer or location they will not help you out at all. I am very disappointed in this as my tires are woren and there are only 22,000 miles on my tires. If this is what I can expect from a Volkswagen dealer then I will make sure that no one buys a car from this location or goes there for any type of service. Gary could have at least offered a 5% discount on the tires and would have had a happy customer but instead he was very unhelpful.

First, if you read Ashley Cope's review, be aware this isn't a Volkswagen dealership. Clearly, she was drunk or confused. It's a repair shop. And I guess I should throw in that I haven't ever had my car worked on here, I've just dropped off and picked up someone many (many) times from this place, been involved in the repair situations as a source for advice for the car owner, and at one time I worked as an auto mechanic on both BMW and Mercedes (not here). This place *knows* BMWs. He's worked on an E30 and E36 for someone I know, and he's been more than willing to work within a budget, he accurately prioritizes the work needed, doesn't inflate the work, and he charges for the time he actually spends working on the car, rather than going by the book. If I did have a BMW, there's no question I'd take it here. I can count on two fingers the places I'd blindly trust if they said something needed to be done, and this is one of them. It's an actual trustworthy repair shop - I thought they were extinct.

I would highly recommend this shop they were up front and honest. I brought my 750 in for new breaks after the other shop I was at quoted me an outrageous price. These guys were considerably less and they got it done the same day.

By far the best mechanic I've ever been to. The owner and employees are very honest people. If you have a German car it would be a mistake to take it anywhere but here.

Coolant system has a leak, they repaired it just fine but the reservoir was below the minimum level.
