Beyond satisfied with Brake Masters. Great experience overall. I had them work on front and rear brakes and Felt safe driving away. The manager Trevor got my truck in the bay quickly and did a great job of making sure I was taken care of. I have used Brake masters before and they actually honored the warranty on their parts. I would definitely recommend them and will be back when I need maintenance in the future.

They trouble shot an issue for me with my car and let me know it would probably be a waste of money to have the work done that I had requested. This was due to a more serious issue with my car. Most people would assume that they were just trying to make some money from me, but instead they said they didn't want the work that bad. They would rather turn it down than to lose me as a customer. I appreciate them more than they know. They were right too. My insurance company decided to total my car out. Thank you to the crew over there

Probably the best experience I've had at a mechanic shop, the front desk guy was easy to communicate with and all around helpful, the prices are competitive for the area, and I didn't feel like they were trying to push work I didn't need done. Will definitely come back.

This is my new go to place! I had been taken advantage of in the past, so I brought my grandpa along and we both agreed that they gave us very fair prices and didn t try to upsell me on a bunch of things I didn t need. great customer service, quality work, and fair pricing. America's tire recommended this place to me after I got tires earlier in the week. I called in the morning about an alignment, they said they got slammed at opening, but Trevor set me up with an afternoon appointment that same day. when I show up, they had my information pretty much ready go and let me know I'd be next in the alignment rack. all in all, I spent just over an hour there, and time for the service once my car was in was probably just under an hour.the waiting space was roomy and it was nice in that they had kids toys and I had my son with me so that helped keep him occupied without resorting to screen time. he also liked the big windows into the service bays because he was really interested in watching what they were doing to our vehicle.when it was time to check out, I had a surprise discount waiting for me. Trevor let me know that America's tire was supposed to provide me with a coupon with my recent tire purchase, and that he was gonna honor the discount. I didn't know that existed and would have been none the wiser so I very much appreciated his looking out for me as his customer. he had also mentioned that he had just dropped off more coupons on Thursday, the day after I got my tires. so it all lines up.I also wanna shout out my technician Phil, who performed the alignment, saw it shifted after a test drive and went back to make sure it was all good to go. I appreciate the thoroughness and for making sure to get it right. especially since i do often have my kids in the car with me.additionally, I want to note that there were no attempts at upsells or anything like that. just straight to the business at hand which was nice.I was also witness to them getting on one of their suppliers who still had not delivered a filter for another customer that was ordered when I first walked in. it was apparent he was sticking up for his customer and apologized profusely to him in the waiting area for the delay for a part that should have arrived within 15 minutes. it was nice to witness that he cared enough to do those things.

Hands-down, these guys went above and beyond for me. They truly did not have to address some of the things that they did outside of just performing a break service, but they took the time to take care of my vehicle as if it was their own. I was low on oil And was topped off as a courtesy. The tech noticed an oil leak and tried to locate it for me. I appreciate these guys noticing what they didn t have to notice and making sure to bring it to my attention.

Trevor and his crew changed out the rotors and aligned my vehicle with excellent customer service . I brought my vehicle in on a time crunch and they had it done and ready within enough time for me to leave. I appreciate his excellent customer service and the crews hustle to make sure I had my vehicle for my trip. I recommend this location to everyone. Fair pricing and excellent service by all. I loved the service I received. It was my first time going there and will definitely make them my preference. The Gentleman, all of them were beyond polite and very helpful. I have been taking my car to Brake Masters on Thompson in Ventura for well over 10 years. No matter what is wrong with my car, they are either able to repair it or recommend a place to do it. I trust them implicitly, to do the work in a timely manner and to give me a good price. A trustworthy auto shop is a valuable find for any car owner, and I am grateful to have one in my neighborhood. My brake lights are out and I have to drive to LAX in a couple of hours. In a frantic hope that someone could help me before I left, I stopped into Brake Masters on a busy Saturday afternoon. Trevor was working at the front desk and could see that I was desperate and in a hurry. Even though they were swamped, he helped me himself and quickly fixed my issue.Everyone was friendly and helpful and I am able to make the drive to and from the airport without fear of being rear-ended or pulled over.I highly recommend the team and service at Brake Masters and must give a huge shoutout to Trevor for saving the day.(I should also mention that I stopped into a different mechanic yesterday on my drive home from Six Flags when I found out my brake lights were out and was told it would be too big of a job and too long of a time to help me and suggested I drive safe . That bitter experience made this one even sweeter. Thank you again, Trevor!)

They are the best!!! Their due diligence to find the parts that I needed as I have a special edition vehicle was beyond I think, more then any other mechanics would do today. It took a while to find the parts but they found the parts. They never gave up in me. They returned my calls and explained everything that was going on at that perticular time. Brought my 2014 mustang in to see why it was vibrating when braking. The shop was well kept and modern, with a steady flow of traffic. Trevor was really helpful he was able to squeeze me in. When the wheels were off, he showed me the uneven wear on my brake disks and explained how this can cause the brakes to vibrate. Really appreciated the insight. 5 stars. I ll be back.Service: Brakes

Trevor and his crew took care of me, my family, and my car from the moment we walked in, until the moment we left. I had my car towed in after being broke down on the freeway. We were not from the area, so I had my family with me as we waited. They took care of us right away, made us feel welcome, comfortable, and kept us updated throughout the process. It was a big plus for me that they had a little play area for kids in the office, which kept my 3 year old entertained. They were all very respectful and HONEST which I truly appreciate. I would definitely recommend this place. You won't be disappointed.

The guys in this shop know what they are doing. I was very impressed by the costumer service. They diagnosed my abs light for free. They also had a great attitude towards the lady in front of me if who didn t know much about cars. As a car guy it was nice to hear them give her a fair quote too. This business was very excellent and easy to work with. Both managers were excellent and gave me an even better deal than I asked for to get an entire brake job done. Not only did they provide excellent service at an unbeatable price but they even helped me out when my transportation issues got rearranged on the day they provided service on my car. It is rare in my experience for auto shops to help out in such a genuine and helpful manner. Strongly recommend this company for brake servicesService: Brakes

I remember why I don't go there anymore. Travis the front guy was super cool and it seems like he was working with you. Then another manager from the valley came in for Travis during the weekend. He said that the balancing would cost $89. Then I said I came from All American tires and there was a discount. He asked for the coupon and I stated that the other gentleman didn't have a coupon and he got a discount. So then he stated that he has a coupon and will use it for my $30 discount. Then I asked him more questions and after about 5 attempts he comes up with some correct answers and tells me in the end, "if I were you... ". Do your research and ask around shops. This one will no longer be trusted and will never go there again!

Went in just for a bleed, they loosed the wrong bolt, the wrong part of the bolt, and stripped the bolt on brand new brakes. Did not tell me it was stripped until I showed up after day 2. Fought me over buying me a new caliper and eventually did pay for the caliper after calling district managers.Service: BrakesService: Brakes

America's Tire recommended these guys to me, for a badly-needed front end alignment. This meant a lot to me, 'cause I've been a happy, satisfied customer at America's Tire for many years... At Brake Masters, Ventura, I got a front-end alignment without being up-sold anything - SO REFRESHING! I came in without an appointment; a couple of cars ahead of me, but I STILL didn't have to wait an unusual amount of time! I got to see several other customers ahead of me, all very satisfied... not one disgruntled person in the lot! Yeah - I'm sold on these guys!Service: Wheel alignment

Trevor was awesome!! Came in for a brake inspection, knew there was something going on with the rear brakes. Ended up needing a bit more work than anticipated but Trevor explained everything, gave me a couple of options and did not try to up sell anything. Woah this place is awesome! Trevor and the guys went above and beyond to help me when I lost my locking wheel nut key. Most places would tell you that s your problem to figure out but they definitely went out of their way to help me figure out how to find a replacement fast and then rotated my tires all without charging me some insane price. They were definite life savers and I ll be going back for all my auto needs. It s awesome to find a company who cares and you can trust, and you know won t tell you something s wrong when it isn t or overcharge you for a service. Thanks Guys!!Service: Tire rotations
