Caleb and his AWS team are beyond awesome. I was from out of state only in California for few days. I had and 4wd issue. There honesty to not take advantage of my situation was like gold. They reprogrammed my software on my truck got the 4wd to unlock. This shop and owner are a rare find, honest excellent and professional service hands down. Thank you Caleb!

My car all of a sudden all the lights came on, abs, oil, battery, and then my car started to Stahl out. I barely made it off freeway. Called aws at 4:30 on Friday to have it towed to their shop, but they were closed by the time tow truck got it there. Monday morning they called with diagnoses and estimate for approval. Four hours later it was done and when I picked it up, they charged me less than was quoted. This was second time I needed them and won't ever take my car anywhere else. They are so nice and professional, and I will be recommending them to all I come across needing a mechanic. Thank you AWS for your excellent service!

Would give 10 stars if that was an option! Look no more - this is the mechanic to come to (I brought in my Jag from Los Angeles from another mechanic)!This is the best experience I ve had with auto repair. Caleb and his team are incredibly patient, thoughtful and went above and beyond to take care of vacuum leak of my Jaguar 2002. The team is down to earth with a good sense of humor, but with an even higher sense of professionalism, and explains things patiently or even showed me physically the parts to be done. The car needed a smog after the repair, and they kindly took it to get it smogged for me. Also arranged to pick me up from rental drop off. Incredibly thoughtful 10-star service!Honestly bring your automobile here and you will have a trustworthy, kind, professional experience of a lifetime.Thank you again Caleb and team. Beyond grateful.

I am always wary going to an automotive repair shop for the first time. From what I see after my first visit Is that they are straight forward and honest. I hope it continues!

I brought my Honda in here and I felt that they were very, very efficient. They were able to do a full inspection, they gave me exactly what was wrong, what need to be fixed right away, what was optional, and after I signed off on everything, they went right to work and had it to me the very next day.Very friendly people, very put together place, very clean, and I haven't had any problems with the car since their repair and maintenance.

Caleb and his crew did an excellent job repairing my Hyundai Tucson to excellent running shape. Price was explained thoroughly before the work began and was done on time. His pleasant demeanor and patience answering all the questions I had made it a satisfying experience. I ve been going to AWS for a couple years now and I can say they are the best. They are super responsive, respectful and there staff are super friendly and they go above and beyond. Just moved in from Oceanside and my bug eye WRX was acting up. Found this great shop online and they got me back on the road in no time. They have earned my business from this point on, you will not be disappointed.I have now taken about 5 different vehicles now. I walked into AWS very unsure of a purchase for a used vehicle. Caleb and his team put me right at ease with their very detailed pre-purchase inspection. Answered every question I had and more. The quote he gave me as to how long the work would take was spot-on. On top of all that, Caleb is the friendliest guy around and makes his customers feel right at home. Can t recommend enough!

Took my car in for service and it was ready that day! Thought it was going to be more, but turned out so nicely.So I got my sway bar link replaced with a new unit and the sway bar mount bushings and an engine oil filter housing brand new and it was only 347.00

I can't speak highly enough about my experience with Caleb and AWS. It's always nice to find a trusty mechanic, and Caleb and his team were there for me. I came in with some engine issues on my rusty old truck, and asked them to do a full diagnostic and fix whatever needed fixing. They kept me up-to-date with what was happening, had pictures of the issues, and good prices. I was really hoping that AWS would be my new mechanic. But my second visit was a huge disappointment unfortunately. They are very busy and I'm happy for them. My Honda sat on their lot for 7 business days without being worked on with 3 calls about sending diagnosis...no follow through. Glad you're busy. Improve your communication skills and don't waist your customer's time.Services: Carburetor cleaning, Engine repair, Oil change

AWS had my car for 5 weeks and I was left to find my own transportation during that time. The communication was very poor. I was frequently told I would receive a call back by a certain time and rarely received that call. Ultimately they were not able to fix my cars issue - seemed like the problem was biting off more than they could handle to help lower the cost for me. The owner was reasonable and did not charge for the attempts they made that were not successful. My interactions with thw owner and staff were positive but the timing and communication were very inconvenient.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Auto battery replacement, Transmission repair, Oil change

Stay away from AWS at all costs, they take a week just to look at your car, and then charge you 150 DOLLARS to do so. I was charged 800 dollars in pure labor alone just to replace an oil cooler when the part alone runs no more than 200 dollars. Not to mention the additional 150 they charge for looking at it. Plus their taxes and fees, i ended up paying 1400 for an oil cooler replacement.Two months after it was "fixed", I was having the same oil pressure issues. I asked if they could take a look at it again to see if maybe the part was defective and they said it would be another 150 dollars. Terrible shop.Service: General repairs & maintenance

If you re in the greater Ventura area, go here! Caleb and his team are the best! I initially came to Caleb to redo the clutch on my truck, but have since kept coming back because his quality, service, and affordability is unbeatable! I ve never had a mechanic truly care about helping people more than Caleb. He even offered to meet me at his shop on Christmas Eve to ensure I got my car in time for holiday travel. I wish I had found AWS Automotive long ago. They are eveything I look for with an auto mechanics shop. Great staff, knowledgeable and fair. The shop itself is clean and all the folks are all about making your day better. Highly recommended.

I had the rear rotors, and brake pads replaced, CV boot replaced, transmission fluid flushed, oil changed, and wiper blades replaced. It was quite a bit of work, but all repairs were completed, and my car was ready for pickup on time as promised. I love the fact that the technician road tested my vehicle before, and after repairs were completed.Services: Transmission, Vehicle safety inspection, Wiper blade installation, Auto brake replacement, Oil change

Extremely professional, communicative, fair and speedy. They correctly diagnosed my vehicle right away. I had been to about 4 shops that day and trusted these guys the most in knowing their mechanics. They were thorough and sent me pictures of the work as well as other wear and tear that I should be aware of. They understand feelings and sounds of car malfunctions. Hard workers.

These guys are the real deal. Made an appt, parts were in, they called me @ noon for an update -as they said they would! - then again @ 3 saying my brake job was done. What more could a person want? I have another vehicle with them getting the trans fixed and it s the same treatment, be confident with your time and your ride, Caleb @ AWS is the only auto repair solution for our family, cheers AWS! AWS performed testing to confirm that my battery was weak and needing replacement. 45% cost was warranted, as the existing battery gave out prematurely (a result of car vandalism that caused the battery to drain to zero volts, causing permanent battery damage). The job was finished quickly, and I was on my way with minimal wait time. We ll done, AWS team! Services: Battery service, Auto battery replacement
