When I came to Roy, I was sick of mechanics and $3000 in debt to a transmission place after buying my used car just a couple weeks before. I told Roy when I met him just be honest with me and please don t burn me I ve had enough with mechanics. He was efficient and professional and understanding. He explained everything to me so that I can understand what was going on. The day after getting my vehicle back, Roy called to see how my car was running!! I have never had a mechanic go out of their way like that. I ve been with him for 25 years now family and friends and he always gives everyone a significant discount. this man and his business. It s hard to find someone like this in a business situation.i am totally loyal Roy. Thanks

Royal and the shop crew are great. I've been going here for years and have had major repairs done on my Lexus.Always satisfied with the quality and price.

It's been 5 hours. Original call I asked for an estimate on a timing gear change for my 96 ford f150, was told he was out of the shop on lunch would call me when he was back. 3 hours later I visited the front office, a nice lady immediately recognized my request; said he was still out and would call me when he was back. An hour later I called again he was in working on a car, he came to the phone and had no idea about my truck. I had to repeat three times it was a year 96 on that call with him, said he'd call me right back. An hour later no call. I called another shop down the road, gave me an estimate right away.

Not only have I found my new mechanics in Roy and Sean but I have new friends. I have never been accommodated to such a high level, received such professional service and the fairest prices from any business I can recently think of. I'd give those boys 10 stars if I could.

Roy is a great person to work with. If your have car problems or need a set of tires, this is the place to go.

I bring my Tacoma to Roy for everything from oil changes and tire rotations to tire purchases and major work (they just replaced my clutch). Speedy, friendly, and honest. Cash is preferred but they do take cards without any hassle. In a decent location too, if you need an oil change and they have the time, you can be in and out in the time that it takes to run down the street for a few tacos. Thanks guys, appreciate your work.

Took car to two repair facilities and they couldn't figure out what was causing my problem. Took to Roy at avenue and he worked until he got the problem corrected. Ended up with minor power steering fluid leak and Roy tighted all the nuts refilled with fluid . After 2 months in Yuma i returned for a tax appointment and Roy retightened and added dye to fluid and with infared light and googles no further leaks. Roy did a great job and honored his work. Great job.

Avenue Tire & Service really came through! I rented a Uhual to pick up at their location for my move today and the person who rented the truck I needed did not return it on time. They had a spare "local only per Uhaul" truck that they called Uhaul and negotiated I could take given the circumstances. Not only that but they negotiated I not get charged for the mileage either. Staff is fantastic and down to earth. This is an awesome local place to do business, Uhaul or vehicle repair. Thanks again, Avenue Tire & Service! :)

This is my review of Avenue Tire...I was referred by a close friend well over a decade ago and was told to contact Roy Springer ( The Owner ).As most of us know finding an HONEST MECHANIC is very hard to do and I put it up there with finding a Great Doctor, Lawyer, and yes even your Significant Other.Most Mechanics out there will rip you off blind, especially folks like me who took home economics with the pretty girls in H.S., rather than Auto Shop.I have literally saved Thousands of $$$ going to Avenue Tire.Avenue Tire & Service Honesty is simply put, AMAZING!!Many times I have taken my car to the Toyota Dealership and various Independent mechanics through out Midtown & West Ventura, whether it be a brake job, my sun roof not working (thanks Toyota of Ventura for trying to rip me off for $700 extra dollars), and various other auto supposed problems that these so called honest mechanics added on to their estimate.When I went to Roy with the estimate he would say nope don't need that done yet, What the heck are they adding this for ( for that part was fine ), and he would always do the job at least 20% less and many times 50% less than what I was quoted at other mechanics shops. There are a few other honest mechanics in town, but they are far and few between.This is what I suggest ... take your car to a mechanic, have them print out the estimate, and then take it to Roy...he usually can just quote you over the phone, but I like to go in person for the surprise of finding out how much the dishonest mechanics were going to screw me for!!!His staff is very Courteous & Knowledgeable from his Son, Royal Jr (Watch out Roy Sr. he's going to be better than you soon)....and George, Sean, & Nate. If something goes goofy later on, they are more than happy to take care of it for you.I also see folks in the neighborhood stopping by to get their oil checked or air put in their tires...and never a whine heard from any of their workers, just a smile. Lots of out of towner's are referred to them as well, which speaks volumes.My car broke down in SB and Roy got me a Great Price from one of the local tow shops on Da' Avenue...beat Triple A by over 50%. That is my point ... I was willing to tow it from SB, because I know this family owned business treats their customers LIKE GOOD FAMILY!! When I was going to move out of town I kept saying to everyone, what am I going to do to find an Honest Mechanic. Now I am staying YEAH!Their Reputation is simply...HONESTY.5/5 STARS for Avenue Tire & Service of Ventura, CA....They Deserve it 100%!!

My daughter called to get a quote on two used tires for her Honda civic. She was quoted $98.00 per tire with install. I couldn't believe it $196.00 for two used tires. The website says used tires starting at $20.00. So, I called Big Brand tire Ventura and got two new tires with install for $98.80, thank you Big Brand for taking care of our young Ventura locals who are students on a budget.

First of all the best service around town check this out my name is well Roy calls me his pit bull I think of Roy and his siblings as family the guy who would bend over backwords instead of forword for you ha!ha!ha! God bless his short little soul but has got the heart of beast a giant just wanted to say if you had to trust any body Roy is the man he would give up his own vehicle so you could get around town now what doese that say about the way Roy runs his business now dont ask me why I m writing this but I feel the guy has helped a lot of people including myself and family words cannot describe thanks Roy and Trina. For being a part of mine

I get excellent service at a excellent price at Avenue Tire! I have been using Avenue Tire for several years now. They take care of my work truck's, camper trailer, and boat trailer's breaks, tires and service. I have always been a satisfied customer with their Fast, Friendly, and Honest Service's. My statement is based on my experiences with other local tire services that have not met my standers and expectations. Roy and his team are always kind, considerate, honest, caring and knowledgeable.. They all work hard to tend to your needs in a timely manner..Roy is awsome and has always gone above and beyond to care for his customers

I was in the worse way with flat tire that wouldn't air up limped down toAvenue tire he gave me a spair long enough to get to my tire shop and then ill bring back his tire .what a real person who owns this place im very impressed and grateful

WAS ON MY WAY THRU VENTURA IN MY RV WHEN I NOTICED ONE OF MY ALMOST NEW BIG O TIRES HAD STARTED TO FALL APART. I HAD 200 MILES TO TRAVEL TO GET HOME AND NEEDED A NEW TIRE "FAST". I FOUND AVENUE TIRE ON THE INTERNET, THEY HAD THE BEST PRICE AND A VERY FRIENDLY GUY ON THE PHONE. WHEN I GOT THERE THEY MADE EVERY EFFORT TO GET ME IN AND OUT FAST EVEN THO THEY WERE VERY BUSY. LOVED THEIR SERVICE AND WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND.. THANKS GUYS

Duuuuuude. I AM SO IMPRESSED AND EXTREMELY PLEASED WITH THE OUTSTANDING SERVICE FROM ROY. I HAVE TO GIVE IT TO HIM AND HIS AMAZING TEAM. I WAS HAVING SOME DIFFICULTY WITH MY CAR AND I HAD GOTTEN THERE NEAR CLOSING TIME. NOT ONLY WERE THEY PATIENT WITH ME, BUT THEY ALSO PUT THEMSELVES IN THE CUSTOMERS SHOES AND STAYED AN HR OVER TIME JUST TO HELP ME.NOW IF YOU HAVE NOT GIVEN THEM A CHANCE YET.
