Great customer service!! Super quick and friendly. They even bought Girl Scout cookies from my daughter! Highly recommended this location.

Andy from the service team provided exceptional assistance and was truly a pleasure to collaborate with. When I brought in my Subaru Impreza for its inaugural service appointment, Andy streamlined the process, ensuring it was both swift and convenient. Despite encountering some unexpected tire issues, Andy promptly and adeptly resolved the issue, demonstrating his expertise and commitment to customer satisfaction. My interaction with the entire service team was marked by professionalism and support, culminating in a truly outstanding experience.

Destroyed lugs and wheel lock. cross threaded and wheel lock re tightend crooked at a angle. the use of power tools to tighten my wheels is not cool. chipped all my rims as if an intern was given a shot at quickest wheel install. offered to have wheels resurfaced. they did so but chips were still present on 3 of 4 wheels. bought a higher end trim Model paying good money and I expected to not have issues especially from taking in my car for a simple warranty oil change. I put my confidence in the dealership to provide services with extra care but my car definitely was not carefully worked on. cool service rep but I won't be coming back.

Manny G. is THE definition of Above & Beyond! Had to bring my scoobytruck in for some care after my AC stopped working during the heat dome, and Manny was super extra helpful with an excellent attitude to boot. I always say you can t pay ppl to care they are either the type of person who cares or they re not. Manny not only made the service process seamless, but he even answered some Qs on what turned out to be his day off!! Would never want to interrupt someone s R&R, but he said he sometimes checks on his off days to make sure his customers are taken care of! He also patiently answered so many questions for me and helped me assess how long I could wait to do some of the work still needed. They are lucky to have such a great team member, and I hope his manager sees this. Oh, and the AC is working again, so PHEW! Thanks again, Manny!!

We had a great experience with Sherman Oaks Subaru Service dealing with a tow for a flat tire. They were the closest dealer, so we didn t know to what to expect since this is our first time here, but they were able to fix it at no charge. Peter was quick to respond and very helpful. Thank you!

I don t trust these mechanics at all. I suspect they ve damaged my car more than they ve fixed it. They re not at all thorough and have been very vague and inconsistent. It all started when we leased my car from this dealer in 2019. Loved driving the car, it was a great deal and everything I wanted. Took it across the country and back. Drove it 60-70 miles a day until pandemic and working from home. But then, after 3 years, my transmission suddenly failed, and thus began my odyssey of dealing with the Subaru Sherman Oaks Service CenterI don t know what went wrong with their customer service in the last year, but this service center has had me pulling my hair out since summer of 2022. Up until my last service under warranty in early 2022, I had pleasant experiences. Routine services were great and sales reps were extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and thoughtful. The service rep I got stuck with as of august last year is the exact opposite - super vague and lacks knowledge and thoroughness. It s also impossible to talk to them on the phone - primarily have to communicate via text (which at least leaves me with proof of their poor service in writing). When the transmission failed on a 3 year old car, I asked how/why that happened. Response: it just failed. Why didn t the check engine light go on? It hadn t failed enough yet. But it was making a loud scary grinding noise, wasn t that enough failure? Perhaps it affected the sensor. They wouldn t give me a single clear answer. But they did say I was lucky it was covered by powertrain warranty because it would ve cost 14k. Til this day I scratch my head wondering how the heck a brand new car s transmission failed. Big lemon warning flag, no?Before the transmission grinding noise, I had also been noticing a clunking sound when shifting gears and popping noises when going over bumps and dips (which I mentioned when I took it in). They said both were resolved by the new transmission. I had them replace all my brake pads while the car was there because I knew it was time. Cool, everything was solved, right?Wrong. Gear shift and strut noises persisted. Took it back and they said oh you need to replace the right strut but warranty will only pay for one even though it s well known that struts should always be replaced in pairs. so I paid out of pocket to replace the left strut, too Apparently this fixed the gear shift sound too. I asked why the axel issue wasn t noticed the first time. Never got a clear answer. Oh well, at least it s all good now ?Nope. Gear selector cable was still making loud noises and clunking when shifting gears. Took it back AGAIN. This time they said I needed a new gear selector cable. Again I asked why this wasn t noticed when the whole transmission failed. No clear answer. But the gear selector cable isn t covered by power train warranty, so it would cost me. I asked if they can prove that they did not cause damage to it since it was not a problem reported prior to transmission replacement. They then covered cost as a one time courtesy (clearly I made them nervous about the fact that their negligence caused the situation) but it took 3 months for the part to arrive. Took the car back AGAIN and 3 months after the new gear selector was installed it STILL MAKES THE SAME NOISES. They re telling me to take it back now for a 5th time and I just don t have the willpower.I live 45 minutes away and they never have any loaners available (which is hard to believe because my old reps were so chill about it). So it s a song and dance for me to find time after work and coordinate a ride back since I can rarely get there during the workday, meaning there is no shuttle service I can use. I m worried the car is a lemon, and/or they re just completely incompetent and have damaged it. I m going to a different dealer to continue along this clunking gear shift journey and reporting everything to Subaru Customer Service. Don t come here for anything other than a very basic service or emergency.Services: Transmission, Steering & suspension repair, Auto engine diagnostic, Transmission replacement, Brakes, Auto maintenance, Auto brake replacement, Oil change

I do not recommend that you gamble on Subaru Sherman Oaks' service department. Each time I have gone here I've been left with an unresolved problem. Their staff are welcoming, but each time I ve been there in the last few years has been disappointing, and I now have a terrible problem they caused directly, one that others have complained about also. I ve had all services since I bought the car, including most recently an oil change, done here. The technician used an air wrench on the oil drain plug, something every professional, certified mechanic is trained not to do, and over-tightened the plug and rounded the bolt head. He may also have cross-threaded it.Now the car is due for it s oil change but the oil drain plug is not removable because of the service department s negligence. The warning against using an air tool on that plug is so universal, and so easy for even those not mechanically inclined to understand, that the only explanation is management s implementation and approval of the forbidden use of an air tool. They say one thing (speaking down to me with overused generalizations, charging a deductible on my warranty, but not doing any work, or I have to bring the car back). This is a major problem to fix. Subaru Sherman Oaks should be ashamed of this kind of thing. Don't have your car serviced hereServices: Transmission, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Tire rotations, Engine repair, Wheel alignment, Auto sunroof glass replacement, Auto windshield replacement, Air conditioning, Auto maintenance, Oil change

I was going to give this dealership 5 stars until today. My car was serviced here after driving from CO to CA. I needed an oil change, alignment & one of my control arms replaced. All of the work was done in a timely manner, they even gave me a loaner car to use while the repairs were being done, etc, etc. Well today I am driving back to CO & my oil temperature light comes on! Which means the car is overheating. Come to find out my oil was a quart low after this dealership changed my oil 3 weeks ago! They could've blown my transmission. Thanks so the mechanic that caught this. Be careful bringing your car here.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Tire rotations, Wheel alignment, Oil change

The service center at Subaru of Sherman Oaks is excellent. Sure, I do sometimes take my Subie to another place for maintenance services that I can have done for significantly less money (dealerships tend to be more expensive)...but aside from those instances, the customer service here is outstanding. Both the agents and the technicians provide excellent, honest communication and are helpful and friendly. Service recommendations are just that: recommendations. The choices are left to you. Work is done quickly and well, and when there have been a couple of hiccups, they have without issue taken responsibility and corrected them.

Took over 2.5 hrs to get pick-up for the shuttle service to get my car fixed. I needed to call three times to get any straight answers. The service quality has gone way down over the year. Find another place.
