The incredible service I received is beyond words. I've delivered my Lexus to them twice, for two distinct difficulties, despite the fact that I don't know anyone personally (my work suggested them). I received respectful and truthful treatment over the phone. They provide cost-effective repairs that are quick, competent, and warranted.Next, I'm going to take my son's Infinity.My family now relies on R.S. The best mechanics in the valley. Rick was a true auto mechanical genius and his team is the best. RS Auto is a diamond in the rough with no nonsense and straight to the point with any auto issue with truly fair and reasonable pricing. We've been using his service for 30+ years for our Bakery trucks auto service needs. We will absolutely continue using RS Auto mechanic services with his great staff and excellent team of mechanics. Thanks Rick for always taking care of us and treating us so well with excellent auto mechanic service over the many years.

Rick at RS Auto was kind, honest and sincere. He was a literal walking encyclopedia of automotive knowledge. You could ask him questions about almost any make and model and he could tell you in detail how everything worked and how they were assembled, whether they were old or new. My family has been bringing all of our personal and company vehicles to him for over 30 years. He was reliable and turn around on repairs was always timely. Rick never overcharged and would always find the most economical solution for repairs while still making sure the most reliable parts were used. His team of mechanics are top notch and honest. I always sensed they were being honest with me. Many times the cost was less than what I expected because the repairs needed were more minor that I feares. They always took the time to explain to me what my options were, whether a repair could wait or if it should be performed ASAP. Once a bird got stuck in the rafters of the garage and all the guys were super compassionate, trying to help the bird get out safely. They even closed the front office for a bit in order to help thos bird find his way out. I posted about them on facebook because I was moved by what genuinely nice people they were. Especially Rick, the owner, always taking extra time to share his passion for knowledge on cars. I have been taking my 2001 Mitsubishi eclipse to Rick for 10 years. He was recommended to me by an old neighbor that moved away, but happened to be visiting the neighborhood. I was having difficulty finding a competent and honest mechanic. No one else has touched my car since! The business is still open, I took my car today because I am driving my car to Texas. I was so sad to hear this wonderful man is no longer with us. Blessings to his family and friends, as well as his staff that has been with him for many decades. He will be greatly missed! I am heart broken and deeply saddened to hear of the passing Rick. have been going to RS Auto for around 10 years now. Rick the owner a charming honest man always took good care of my black Chevy Equinox and my son Sean s blue Lexus. He never over charged me and always took good care of our cars in a timely manner. I alway enjoyed talking with him too while my car was being repaired. He was a super guy. Very knowledgeable in every type of car. Such an intelligent man. He always had a big smile and a a great story to tell. He was a gentleman too. I worked at the Van Nuys Airport and I would call Rick and ask if he had time to service my car he said he had a lot of cars there and it would be a few hours before they could take care of my car. He would send a mechanic to my work to pick up my car and fix it and bring it back to me before my shift was up. I then go and pay him for the service. He was so sweet and I will miss him dearly. God bless him and his beautiful family he was a gem of a man and a treasure to his profession. My last memory of Rick was October 7,2022 I had my starter fixed and Rick was explaining how starters work and I could tell he enjoyed and loved his work because he would smile and chuckle the whole time. Ever since they fired Roy place is going downhill fast, two mechanics don't know what they're doing the slow charge too much but there's a beautiful lady behind the desk PS I do not believe she's aware of what's going on with, those two mechanics ripping her OFF !!!

R S Auto Services owner Rick runs a business of great integrity highest moral and ethical standards. Rick is very knowledgeable about how to save any customer money by going to the main primary source of any problem. He has saved me a great deal of money Only addressing what needs fixing.

The owner of this auto repair facility is extremely knowledgeable about cars of any make and model. Rick(owner) will treat you honestly and will not overcharge someone on repairs. R.S. Auto has been in business in the SF Valley for over 40 years. They can work on most cars whether they are new or old and his staff are friendly and will work hard to get your car up and running quickly. Come by and meet the owner. He will treat you right.Update: Jan 2023. R.S. Auto is still in businsss. His employee and eldest daughter are currently managing the business. The owner passed away on Friday, Oct 14th, 2022. He was my oldest brother and it sad to see a good businessman and honest person be no longer with us. May God Bless Him on his return to heaven. If anyone used his services as a customer, it would be nice to say something respectful and loving about his life. He meant alot to me. Please continue to patronize this business.

Sorry to hear about Rick I ve been his parts sales person for over 30 yrs he was a great guy to work with he had a very nice smile good adatude and a great friend , his customer fallowed him where ever he went to set up business , Rick you will be missed Rest In Peace my friend .

Car had been towed to this yard with the impression of engine repair or replacement . 3 months later owner states he has all the parts and just give him a couple more days! It s been 3more weeks with same story!so now the car has been sitting in the scorching sun in a drive way full of cars looking like nothing has been done! Whenever we contact him he says 2 more days or hangs up! Don t go there!!Services: Auto brake repair, Oil change

Great place always has cars being worked on so obviously word gets around he knows what he's doing and his employees. I've always trusted R S auto with my vehicles hasn't let me down yet. Definitely recommend his services for car repairs.

Been coming here for 10 years and have all ways had good service and my vehicles kept running. Space is a little tight to get into but your needs will be taken care of mechanically.

I absolutely trust this place I feel so comfortable taking it there I'm happy every time I take it I have a Tahoe that they fix 3 times and they do a great job I highly recommend it that u get your car or truck fix here the owner is trustworthy all his workers are nice and friendly and get the job done promise you will be percent satisfied .

RS Auto is great I took my car there 2 months ago to get the timing belt and the valve fix it did a great job and I took it back a week ago and I don't even have to pay wonderful cuz I really couldn't afford it this time they're awesome

Friendly, available information. Normal issues usually done within decent timeframe. Major issues might take longer than expected. Very trustworthy.
