Excellent shop!! I have a rare (1 of 92 produced) Triumph in perfect condition and am very picky regarding who I let work on it. Found Kevin's shop from a referral and decided to check it out. Very impressed and happy with everything about Kevin and his shop. He performed an involved brake fluid service, front and back, and it was done cleanly and professionally. Highly recommended, way better than "the dealership".If he worked on Harleys I bring them in too! Thanks Kevin

Kevin is a first class mechanic. His prices are fair and he looks out for you so that you don't waste money replacing perfectly good parts. Totally trustworthy and reliable.

This guy knows what he s doing. I ve been bringing my 2014 triumph thruxton to him for years with never ending mods, repairs, services and upgrades. If you want your triumph or other modern classic motorcycle customized this is the guy and the place to get it done. Gets the job done right, very friendly and almost has a cult following on social media. MotoChopShop is the best shop in the area in my opinion, great price, great service, great friend.

What a gem the Moto Chop Shop is !! Kevin is very knowledgeable for all Triumph related topics, he does service as well as mods and is a very good communicator, I can not recommend him enough ! ! So glad I found him, my Triumph will be well taken care of for years to come ! ! !

Kevin is amazing! Never had such care taken into my Triumph. Came in for routine service, a new tire and turn signal relocation. Kevin killed it on all three tasks! He took great care of my bike, made special arrangements for me to drop off / pick up, and kept me updated throughout the whole process via text and photos. You ll never find a better shop for your Triumph than Moto Chop Shop!

I m so glad I found Moto Chop Shop & Kevin. I purchased a Triumph Bobber TFC and wanted to get a good number of custom mods completed. Kevin was very professional, knowledgeable, friendly & patient with the work I wanted. The bike turned out exactly as I had hoped. Not only does it look amazing but he also tuned the performance. If you re looking for any type of custom work, service etc on classic moderns I highly recommend Moto Chop Shop. The recommendations that Kevin suggested actually made my bike even better. I will only be going to Moto Chop Shop from here on out. Thanks again Kevin!!

Kevin is phenomenal. I have dealt with bad shops, good shops but this one is my favorite. The level of communication that Kevin has with his clients is outstanding and it's very apparent that he knows what he is doing. He is patient and will listen, he helps recommend things and gives you his personal opinion but in the end it is the customers decision. He did everything to make sure that everything was in perfect condition before I left and followed up with me afterwards. He fixed things on my bike that others had damaged and failed to repair. I traveled close to 2 hours to drop off and pick up my bike.... you really get quality service and amazing customer service at Moto Chop Shop and it's definitely worth the trip.

I had a great experience with taking my Thruxton to Kevin's shop to get some maintenance and fixes completed. You can tell he knows his way around a Triumph and is focused on doing things right. I definitely plan on taking my bike to him for all future maintenance and mod needs. If you want the job done right come here.

If you own a modern Triumph twin, these are your guys. I brought in my 07' Bonneville for a carb service and new rear tire after it had sustained some damage from being stolen. Kevin was responsive and communicative which is pretty rare these days. On top of that, he knows these bikes top to bottom which made diagnosing and servicing the bike a breeze. I actually got my bike back in just a few days. Through the entire process I had up-to-date info on the repair including video of my carbs being tuned. That was really cool. Jorma did the work on the carbs, and it's running like a brand new bike. I couldn't be happier. Specialists you can trust are hard to come by, and Moto Chop Shop is the best in the game. Period.

It s pretty obvious from the reviews that Kevin and Moto Chop Shop are the place for your modern Triumph classic. What s missing from the other reviews is how much Kevin will make himself available to you and your bike. He s excellent at responding to texts or calling to discuss shop. He will even respond to your Instagram DMs. These bikes are his passion, and he loves them more than you. He probably rides them harder than you.Because it s an owner-operated shop, that means you want to call ahead to make sure you can get in. It can get busy because Kevin is the man. But it also means when you take your motorcycle to MCS, you don t just get your bike fixed, you get the knowledge and advice of a specialist.Develop a good relationship with Kevin because this is the guy you ll want to text in the middle of the night about which new tires you should get, what fender removal kit you want, if British Customs seats are comfortable or just hipster trash, if those Biltwell handlebars really express who you are, and how not to look like a basic bro who lives in Silverlake. Maybe buy Kevin a pizza.I m Hank and you can trust this review because I pretty much hate everything.

Go there. Speak with him. Look around. If you are worrying about your bike even a little, you will feel confident leaving it here. A shop dedicated to Triumph that will make yours run amazing and/or feel unique. His knowledge is immense and his patience with the bikes large. A great guy doing a great job with your Triumph. I recommend him highly. I found him through a referral and I am happy I did. You will surely be happy too!

Went to Kevin to do a Thruxton/Scrambler conversion. Kevin kept me updated, sent me ideas and improved my original idea. All the work done looked great and my bike is even better than I expected.Been here for scheduled maintenance as well. Always a good experience.

Took my bike here previously to get my brakes changed so I decided to also get my 6K service and tires changed too. Kevin (owner of MCS) took care of it all for me and I m beyond thankful for it. Very knowledgeable, answered all the questions I had for him and it shows he takes his work seriously after getting my bike back today. Earned a customer for life! Keep up the great work man!

Kevin at Moto Chop Shop is the man!I had just moved to L.A. from the east coast, and needed my 2010 Triumph Bonnie serviced. It's always nerve-racking trying to find a reliable moto shop in a new town. By word-of-mouth, I found Kevin at MSC, and I couldn't have been happier. He was easy to get in contact with, was able to schedule time within a week, and upon arrival and consultation, was a breeze to work with.He walked through everything I wanted done to the bike in detail, from repair to upgrades, and quickly quoted out a fair price on parts and labor. Once the parts arrived, it was a quick turn around on getting my bike back.Everything was top level service, and I'll continue to visit Moto Chop Shop as long as I'm living in L.A.

I had a number of things I wanted to do to my bike, but after doing an X-Pipe and Shorty install, my bike seemed to be running a little wonky. So I contacted Kevin, he gave me some options and I said "let's do it". After dropping my bike off, it was nothing but updates from there on out and any inquiries were answered immediately and a quote followed shortly after. Once I picked up my bike, there was a noticeable difference in how it ran (not to mention a visible upgrade or two) and I couldn't have been happier. Thanks Kevin!

I ve been with this shop for 5 yrs and Kevin the owner was honest and open with builds and prices. He helped me build my first bike that took two years and was kind always. Kind to invite to shows and events. I bought another bike from him and now getting another. You want to trust a bike shop stop by and he will talk to you.

I own a 1978 Honda CB750F3 Super Sport that I purchased as a project bike 6 months ago. The motorcycle was in amazing condition, only having 5500 miles on it, and had been in a garage for 30 years (last registration was in 1983).Kevin Stanley, the owner of Moto Chop Shop, has been an absolute pleasure to work with (and even picked up my bike from North Hollywood)! I received several updates each week and he has put me in touch with some great motorcycle mechanics and enthusiasts to offer additional consultancy. The billing provided by Moto Chop Shop is comprehensive and itemized and any questions I've had Kevin is able to answer even before I've asked.Kevin is a professional, reliable and responsive motorcycle expert in Los Angeles, let alone Van Nuys.I will definitely be having them work on my bike(s) in the future, and will recommend them to a couple of my friends who own Hondas and Harley Davidsons.

I came here to get some accessories put on my Indian Scout. I must have called 10 other places and no one would work on it, until I found Moto Chop Shop. Kevin did a great job and was actually done earlier than expected. I now will be going here for anything I want added to my bike!

Had multiple bike to work on and before they got finished I was asked to pick them up in pieces so he can make money on other peoples bikes. Said he was going to leave them on the street even though I paid the invoice in advance.
